The Way of the Sith (Part Three)

Jina'tis was now aboard her ship and made her way to the cockpit. She glanced back to make sure Saeva was aboard and had closed the door behind them first. It wouldn't be good to take off if it wasn't closed- unless they had a death wish, perhaps. Not being able to breathe would kill even her, after all. Jina'tis shook her head, and shook the thoughts from her mind. No, suicide was the coward's way out. Besides, what if her brother was still out there?
The Sith woman sighed and set in a course for Nar Shaddaa. Thinking about these things would do no good for her now. Her dreams— no, nightmares— were bad enough. After setting the course and initiating hyperdrive, she checked out some of the information on the planet, and also checked to see how long it would take to get there. Forty eight hours. Wonderful. Two days of doing nothing with a stranger aboard her ship.
Saeva entered the cockpit after a moment and glanced over Jina'tis's shoulder to look at some of the information on the planet. "Two days, eh?" He commented, backing away from her when she looked up at him from over her shoulder. He doubted she would like him standing so close when he towered over her. He tilted his head a little after a moment. How peculiar. Her eyes were a stunning blue. They weren't yellow, orange, or red, like most other Sith. They were a dazzling, beautiful blue, deep as an ocean. He quickly snapped himself out of it and looked away from her. "Wonderful." He added in a sarcastic murmur.
"Yeah." Jina'tis replied, rolling her eyes a little before she walked past him, practically brushing past him, and out of cockpit. "I'll show you to a room." She added, calling back to him though she didn't look at him and simply kept walking. She'd know if he was following her, as she could hear his footsteps. By now she had memorized exactly what his footsteps sounded like, in fact. Soon, she'd walked down a hallway, where two rooms on each side were. The first on the left was a personal chamber, as was the first on the right. There were two other rooms on the back left and back right as well. "Any of these rooms, as long as it isn't the first on the right. That one is mine." She hoped he'd choose one farthest from her.
Saeva gave a nod in reply before he walked into the first room on the left. He then looked at Jina'tis and hesitated before he spoke. "Would you mind showing me to the 'fresher?"
"Each personal chamber has one." Jina'tis replied, mentally groaning since he'd chosen the one closest to her. "You should find it in one of the back corners of you room." She added before she turned around and began walking toward her room.
"Hey, wait." Saeva said to her just as she'd reached her doorway. When she stopped and turned to face him, he continued. "Where's the galley?" He added in question. He'd like to be able to get food and drink while he was here, after all.
"Lower level. The protocol droid will lead you to it." Jina'tis replied with a small sigh before she turned around again. There, now he had a room, he knew where the 'fresher was, and he could find the galley. He shouldn't need anything else now.
"Where do I find the protocol droid?" Saeva asked next. He was trying to keep the woman around longer so the two of them could chat. He wanted to talk to this lady, and he was curious about her. She was unlike any Sith he'd met before, after all. And, if he was going to spend every single day with her, he might as well get to know her, right?
"Simple. You walk downstairs." Jina'tis replied, rolling her eyes, though her back was still turned to him. "You'll find him. His designation is T9-08. Teenine for short. Now, if that's all, I will be in my quarters. If you need anything, don't come to me. Take it up with Teenine, or figure it out yourself. Surely you're not brainless, or you wouldn't have survived this long in the Sith world."
Saeva raised his brow at the beyond annoyed tone of the Sith lady, and he silently watched her as she walked into her private chamber. He supposed he'd be leaving her alone for a little while, then. Oh well. He supposed he ought to be used to silence by now. The Pureblood made his way onto the lower level, and he soon came across a silver protocol droid.
"Greetings. I was not aware we had a passenger on board. I am T9-08-" The droid began.
"Yes, I was told." Saeva interrupted the droid. He'd heard protocol droid introductions several times before. All he needed to know was the name and function, and he'd already found out from the hot Sith lady that this droid was a protocol droid. "Could you show me to the galley?"
"Of course. Right this way." The droid replied in it's programmed male voice, beginning to slowly lead the way into the galley. "Here we are. If you need anything else, please do not hesitate to come get me." When the Sith made no reply, he walked away.
Once the droid walked away, Saeva sighed. Even Sith got bored, after all. If all this pointy-eared woman did was spend time in her private chamber, he was going to be very bored for two days. Sure, it was only two days, but it was two days with nothing to do but think. Maybe he'd just get as much sleep as he could until they arrived on the Smuggler's Moon.
Saeva walked further into the galley and began looking around to see what kinds of food the Sith lady had on board. Hopefully enough for the both of them. Soon, he found nerf nuggets in the fridge, as well as some root beer, apple cider, and there was, of course, water. He decided to go with the water since it was what he was familiar with, then he heated up the food before sitting down at the table in the small galley. When he was halfway finished with his little meal, Jina'tis walked into the room, so he looked over at her. He nearly choked on his sip of water when he caught sight of her. She'd shed the cloak by now, revealing more of her dress, which complimented her very much so. He couldn't help but look her over.
"My eyes are on my face, just like yours." Jina'tis commented with a roll of her eyes when she caught the young Pureblood staring at her. She walked over to the fridge and got a bowl of berries, as well as a cup of Corellian Apple Cider.
Saeva quickly glanced away from her. "I was just— uh, I..." He stammered, then he cleared his throat and simply took another drink of the water in his glass. "She shouldn't wear such things if she expects men to not stare." He grumbled very quietly, almost inaudibly.
"I heard you." Jina'tis snapped, casting a glare his way before she leaned against a wall as she ate the berries. Her ears did more than frame her face, the moron. Of course, not many knew that she had excellent hearing— it was even considered to be superior hearing among her own race.
Saeva's eyes widened a bit, then he raised a brow and looked over at her. "What are you, some sort of superhuman?" He asked sarcastically, his way of joking yet sounding like the rude Sith he was supposed to be.
"I'm not human, I'm an Elf." Jina'tis replied, then raised a brow of her own. "And you're one to talk. Aren't your kind supposed to have facial tentacles or something?" She added in question before she popped another berry in her mouth.
"I won't get those until I hit puberty, when I'm twenty. I'm only seventeen right now." Saeva replied, looking away from her before finishing off the rest of his food. "Just because your kind hits puberty by their teenage years doesn't mean my kind does."
"My kind doesn't until about fifty, actually." Jina'tis replied calmly. She was rather surprised that this giant was only seventeen, though. He really was just a kid. "I just assumed based on observation of other races, and assumed so for you since you look to be at least twenty one. I apologize for the incorrect assumption."
Saeva looked at her curiously after she spoke. "Fifty? How long does your kind live?" He questioned, watching the woman as she finished her last berry.
"Forever, unless we're mortally wounded." Jina'tis replied quietly, a faraway look in her eyes a moment before she shook herself out of it. "I know your kind needs to eat a lot, so help yourself to however much you want. I'll be returning to my personal chamber now." She quickly added before she turned and walked out of the galley.
Saeva watched her leave yet again, after his eyes had widened upon hearing how long they lived. Forever? Clearly, Lord Vitiate didn't know this fact about Darth Jina'tis, or he already would have her locked up in an attempt to learn her secret— or to consume her energy somehow so he could gain immortality. He supposed that explained why Jina'tis, though she looked so young, had such old and sorrowful eyes. And for some reason, he really wanted to know the story behind the sorrow.
