It's now the middle of the week and so far it's been going by really slow. I was currently waiting for brandon to come pick me up for school. " eve can some friends sleepover this weekend " dylan asked walking into the kitchen. " sorry bud but we already have plans this weekend " i said. " since when " he asked. " monday " i said. " what are the plans " he asked. " that's a surprise bud you'll find out on friday " i said winking at him. " ugh ok " he said. " no finish drinking your juice then go put on your shoes nick and his mom are almost here " i said putting our dishes in the sink. I slipped on my shoes and sat on the couch when the doorbell rang. " coming " i said. I opened the door to see nick and his mom. " why goodmorning nick and mrs.mara " i said letting them in. " so what are the plans this weekend for u crazy kids " his mom said making us laugh. " mom i already told u we are going to disneyland this weekend " nick said. " oh yea i just wasn't really listening to you " she said making me laugh. " would u like some coffee or anything " i asked. " no i'm fine say where's dylan " she said. " umm he should be right down how about u nick do u want anything " i asked. " i'll get myself some juice " he said walking over to the fridge. " so eve are you ready to go back to school " mrs.mara asked. " umm i'm a little nervous not gonna lie " i said. " goodmorning sorry it took me so long i couldn't find my shoes " dylan said. " it's ok bud we have time " she said. " ok " dylan said. " but i would be too you haven't gone to school since you found out about our mom " she said making me look down. " yea " i said. " mom i think it's time for you to take dylan to school " nick said. " no son we have time " she said. " mom do you see what u did it's time for you to take dylan to school then go home " nick said sternly. " oh ok come on dyl i'm sorry eve i didn't mean to bring her up " she said. " no it's fine have a good day at school dyl have a good day mrs.mara " i said. " bye eve love u " dylan said. " love you too bud " i said before hearing the door close. " eve look i'm so sorry about my mom " he said. " it's ok really i know she didn't mean it " i said letting a couple of tears fall. " no she shouldn't have opened her mouth i shouldn't have even let her get down from the car " nick said. " guys " i heard brandon say. I ran up to him and ran into his arms holding him tight. " woah is everything ok " brandon asked. " my mom brought up her mom and she cried a little " nick said. " aww baby please don't cry " he said. " it's hard not too i've been needing her recently but she's not here " i said. " don't cry baby ok just think about this weekend " he said. " it's hard to do that she's never got the chance to go to disneyland and we were supposed to go after we graduated as a gift but we can't even do that " i said. " aww baby " he said. " come on let's get to school before we are late " i said grabbing my stuff. " do you feel ok " he asked. " yea i do " i said. " ok come on then " he said grabbing my hand. We got into his car and drove to school. Once we got there we saw our friends by zion's car so we parked right next to them. " hey guys " i said getting down from the car. " look who came guys " austin said. " hey it's good to see you back here " zion said. " it's good to be back " i said smiling. " ready to go inside " edwin asked. " yea come on " i said. We walked into the school and i noticed everyone was starring at us then they would whisper something to their friends. " umm why is everyone starring " i asked. " i don't know if you forgot but u kinda went M.I.A for almost 2 weeks " zion said. " ok so " i said. " some people thought u moved back to texas " edwin said. " while some people thought u died " nick said. " wow u said that so causally like it's an everyday thing " i said then the bell rang. " welp looks like it's time to go to class " austin said. " i don't want to go " tif whined. " i don't either lets ditch " i said making both tif and i turn around to walk out of the school. " not so fast " brandon and edwin said grabbing us. " we aren't ditching this week " edwin said. " plus you haven't been here for some time and you need to get all of your makeup work so u can graduate with us " brandon said. " ugh i hate how right u guys are " i said rolling my eyes. " it's our duty " nick said. " alright well eve and i are going to go to class and i suggest u guys do the same before they mark us late and we get detention " brandon said. " alright see u guys during passing period " edwin said walking away with tif. Brandon and i were walking to class hand in hand when he looked down at me. " what " i said smiling. " your beautiful " he said making me blush. " stop i don't have makeup on " i said covering my face but he moved my hand. " i know i can see you blushing " he said laughing. We walked into the class and sat next to each other in the back then the bell rang. " yess just in time " i said. " good morning class everyone take out some binder paper and a pencil we are going to be taking notes " the teacher said. " oh and it's nice to have you back evelyn " she said smiling at me. " it's good to be back " i said. " good and after class i would like to speak to u about makeup work " she said. " yes ma'am " i said. She continued teaching then the bell rang again. " do you want me to wait for you " brandon asked. " yes please but leave if we start getting close to second period starting " i said. " ok love come on " he said. We walked up to the teacher and she told me i just had to write an essay about my life in detail and she would pass me. " damn i should've missed as much as you did your essay is easy work " brandon said. " yea but i know the only reason why she gave me this assignment is because my mom died " i said. " so " he said. " so it's a sympathy essay " i said. " well u better get used to it because it looks like your going to be getting a lot of sympathy work today " he said.
