Title: I own you
"Kimmie, who's that guy over there?" Tara asked me.
I looked behind me and saw him sitting on his rocking bench. He was petting his black cat.
"Oh that's our next door neighbor. He lives with his mom. He's very quiet." I said, tucking my dark red hair behind my ear.
"Do you know his name?" Tara asked.
"Kim Hanbin." I answered. "Come on, my mom's cooking some pork."
Walking home from swimming practice, I saw Hanbin on the porch again. He was sitting on his rocking bench and petting his black cat. Hanbin looked up and waved at me with a small smile. I waved back.
"How was swimming practice?" He asked me. I went up to his porch and sat next to him. His cat stood up and jumped up to railing. It meowed at me and sat on the railing.
"Tiring. Do you just sit here all day?" I asked him.
"No, I go inside and do rituals with my mom. She's very religious. When we're finished I go outside with Toki." Hanbin said. I looked at his cat who was busy chasing a butterfly in the front yard.
Hanbin alienated himself from my classmates and became known as the "ice man" for being cold with everyone. But when I hang out with him, he's very soft and kind.
"Kimmie, mom wants you!" My older brother shouted from next door.
"I'm coming!" I shouted to my brother. I looked back at Hanbin. "I'll see you tomorrow okay?"
Hanbin nodded as he smiled. I waved goodbye to him and headed inside.
A couple of weeks later, I got Hanbin away from his porch and we were hanging out in the park on the playground. He pushed me on the swings as I enjoyed going higher and higher. After the swings we sat under a tree. Hanbin and I grew closer everyday and I knew he had some good in him.
"Kimmie-ah, do you trust me?" Hanbin asked me.
"I, uh-" I flustered answered.
"Its a simple question, Kimmie-ah," Hanbin smiled.
I nodded. "Yes. Yes I do trust you. You're no harm." I said.
"Good. I'm glad to hear that." Hanbin said. He leaned in close to me and held my face. His lips pressed on mine. The sweet kiss filled me up with sweet love. His lips let go of mine as he gazed into my eyes. "Wanna go get some ice cream?" Hanbin asked.
9:30 pm. We were walking home after our day at the park. My stomach had butterflies after our kiss. Everytime we look at each other, we blush like crazy and look away.
"Is it okay if I invite you inside?" Hanbin asked. I nodded as we stood on the porch. Hanbin unlocked the door with his key and we entered inside. The house was very cold and dark. Red light candles hung on the walls to light up the rooms.
"Mom!" Hanbin called out as he went upstairs. I looked around and saw many paintings on the wall. There was this one painting with a man with horns sitting on a throne with skulls under him. Then there was a picture of a three headed dog. I saw jars of human body parts and my stomach churned as I looked away.
"What is this?" I whispered.
I saw a symbol that was very familiar to me. The upside down star. That's the symbol of -
"Lucifer." I gasped as I stood back and bumped into something.
"That is my name." Hanbin suddenly said behind me.
I immediately turned around and gazed at him in horror. "S-Stay away from me." I shouted.
"Aw come on, Kimmie. I just want to be your friend. Your good friend." Hanbin smirked.
"We are NOT friends. Get away from me. I have a cross." I took out my cross necklace that my mother gave me.
Hanbin scoffed. "Ah, you're so dumb, Kimmie-ah. That's not gonna stagger me away." He grabbed my wrist.
"Let go of me!" I yelled.
"Did you know that you're mine? Ever since you kissed me you sealed the deal." Hanbin dragged me into the dark hallway. I tried to break free and head to the door, but Hanbin's mother turned into a demon. She blocked my escape.
"When you kiss Lucifer, aka me, you become my slave. You sold yourself to me." Hanbin grinned. "Now, come along or bad things will happen."
"No! I want to go home! Let me go!" I broke free and ran to the door. The demon grabbed me by the back of my neck, choking me. My feet was off the ground. I was gazing into its black eyes and it's aura was very cold. I was so close to the door.
"Anima enim est magister vester (Your soul belongs to master)." The demon uttered into my ear send shivers down my spine.
Hanbin took out a silver knife and struck it in my chest. "I need her to be visible to our world." Hanbin said. Black liquid came out of my chest and went all over my body. I felt my body go numb and blacked out.
I woke up and felt a chain around my neck. Following the trail of the chains, I was strapped next to Hanbin or Lucifer's throne and everything was on fire. I couldn't feel the burning on my pale skin.
"You're the bait now, Kimmie-ah. They've been waiting to meet you." Hanbin pinched my cheek, but I turned away from him. "Oh, they'll love you. Exsurge a mortuis! (arise from the dead)"
Black human bodies peeped out of the pits of hell and started to climb out. My heart was beating fast and I screamed as I saw one coming towards me and another. They were all moaning and climbing on top of me.
"Hanbin! Mother! Somebody save me!" I screamed.
"Welcome to my world and your new home, Kimmie." Hanbin pushed his hair back, showing off his horns. "Welcome to hell."

Title: Horror
"I'm ready, guys, let's go!" I shouted letting my excitement out.
“Did you take the extra batteries? Just in case, you know,” Meg asked me. I poked her cheek playfully and answered, “Of course, silly, we have done these kinds of things so many times, do you think I would forget such a thing?”
She just laughed and put her backpack on her back. We left my room and met the rest of the group. We called ourselves “Ten Feet” since there was five of us. My best friend Meg, Meg’s younger sister Linzy, my twin brother Kyungsun, Kyungsun’s best friend Jaeho and I, Sunah.
Our missions were usually wandering around various cities in South Korea and finding mysterious objects and buildings. We investigated them and reported to the government. At first, we were just a random group of teenagers who did this as a hobby, but this has actually become our official job for quite a long time. It all happened when we found an old factory in Yeosu which was full of toxic waste. It was well hidden, but we managed to unravel the truth.
This time, we were travelling not anywhere too far from Seoul, to the nook of Guri. Mysteries of Guri were always alluring, mysterious things happened there not once or twice, but a lot more often. This was our goal since we started these activities legally. Government finally decided to send us to Guri to investigate every single corner. We got two weeks to do that and it’s definitely more than enough. We were professionals and nobody could compare themselves to us.
***
As we got off of our bus that drove us to Guri, it was already evening. It was unusually quiet between us and I was about to say something, but Linzy was faster than me.
“I have a bad feeling about this,” Linzy was pale and her expression didn’t look good. Everyone suddenly stopped walking and turned to Linzy.
“Huh? Bad feeling about what?” Jaeho asked staring at her intensely. “This trip,” she answered. “About Guri.”
“Why did you never tell us then?” Meg asked her sister while rising her eyebrow. She always did that when she was worried and anxious. “Because I only felt it now, when we stepped out of the bus.”
“What is happening guys, are you seriously going to listen to Linzy now?” Kyungsun immediately grabbed everyone’s attention. “You know that she is the paranoid one in our group and she always worries over nothing. As if this time it would be different,” Kyungsun spilled the words, turned around and rushed to our final destination in Guri.
I immediately ran after him and tried to calm him down, but he was enraged as never before. He held my hands and looked into my eyes. He didn’t say a single word, but I knew what his look said: “You’re my twin, I believe that you are on my side.” I nodded with a worried look as we two entered the building.
The door begrudgingly creaked open. A musty, dank odor crept into my nose. The house was dead silent except for the intermittent creaks.
“Ew, this place stinks like hell,” my twin commented. I shushed him and we continued to walk around the place. My brother went to the left and I went to right side of the house. The only thing that was seen was dust and old stuff that hasn’t been touched for years. Slowly, I took steps as I noticed a shiny object in front of me. I was about to take a better look at it when someone snatched it right in front of my eyes.
“Stop playing around, Kyungsun, it’s not funny, we have to do our job as good as we can because it looks that the others won’t join us, “I said with a huge disappointment in my voice and sighed.
“Yes, that’s right, the others won’t join you anymore.”
I blinked twice, but I still couldn’t believe my eyes. Linzy was standing right in front of me with a shiny necklace in her hand staring at me with bloody red eyes. I took one step back not knowing what to do. My mouth was glued even though I had so many questions at this moment.
“Sunah, I swear I heard you calling my name a- “As Kyungsun entered the room, he suddenly fell on the floor. “Kyungsun!” A yell escaped my mouth. I was ready to run, but a cold hand grabbed my arm and let in the nails in my skin. Screams and yells were escaping my mouth, but I couldn’t escape.
“What did you do to him, you witch!?” I yelled to Linzy’s face. Or more like to face of the creature that was in Linzy’s body.
“Just the same as I did to others, “she answered simply. “I would say you might see him in heaven, but I doubt that.”
My look was full of hatred and rage. I couldn’t escape her grip, but I managed to slap her with my other arm. This emotionless creature didn’t even move her head. She grabbed my other hand made me look like I was begging. I tried to bite her, but it was hopeless.
“Pray to your God one last time and then worship me or you’ll end up like your brother and other friends,” she chirped sweetly and smiled to me.
“Never!” I hissed trying to escape her grip. “I’d rather rot in hell than worship you.”
“Your choice, sweetheart. Let’s rot in hell together, Sunah.”
