Clover's POV

I walked with Jenni, Kizly, and Daya to school while we chatted about our weekends. We got to the front of the school and we went to our different classes. I sat down next to a wizard named Tray, he was Travis and Lucinda's son. "Hi Tray!" I said. He replied "Hey Clover." "So how was your weekend?" I asked him. His eyes lightened up and said "Great! My mom taught me how to make potions!" "Cool! What kind of potions?" I asked. He said "Cat potions. Mom said that they're the easiest ones to make and it's a good way to start off potions!" I said "Well, that's good for you!" he said "Thanks." I nodded and turned my head to the front of the classroom. After first period, I was walking to my next class when someone bumped into me. I fell down and looked up to see Alex. "I-I'm so sorry! I didn't see you there!" she apologized and leaned down and picked up my binders. She gave them to me and I said "Uh thanks. I thought you would be like Veronica?" "Well....actually I hate her and Jojo. I thought they were nice at first and then I realized that they're really jerks..." Alex said. "Oh. Then why haven't you left them?" I asked. "I-I can't! They'll threaten to hurt me! I have no other friends!" she yelled. I was shocked by this and said "Alex. You have to stand up for yourself! You can't just let them boss you around! You can't be their puppet!" she just looked down and whispered. "Hey! Alex! Come here! Now!" Veronica yelled at Alex. Alex jumped in fear and said "O-Ok Veronica." she looked at me and walked over to Veronica and Jojo. They grabbed her and left. I wanted to see what they're going to do with her and followed them. A friend of mine, Estelle, went with me to follow Veronica. Estelle's mother is Michi but she's nothing like her mother. She's kind, funny, happy, and clumsy and a great friend! Estelle said "Nah~! Clover~Chan? Why are we following them nah~?" "I want to see what they'll do to Alex." I answered her and we saw them behind the bleachers. We peaked around the corner and saw Veronica and Jojo have Alex pushed against the wall. Veronica said "Why were you talking to Clover?! We told you not to speak to her!" "I-I'm sorry! I-I bumped into her in the hallway! Her binders fell to the floor and picked them up for her!" Alex said, scared. Jojo yelled "You helped her?!" Alex went pale as she realized that she said too much. Veronica said "That's it! We warned you!" "No! Please!" Alex yelled as Veronica and Jojo started to punch and kick her. After they were done, Veronica said "Now. Don't talk to her ever again!" and they left Alex. She was in pain and crying. We ran over to her and offered to help her but she just yelled "GO AWAY!!! LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" Estelle and I left her and we both felt sorry for her. Grrrr!!! I hate Veronica!
