P.O.V. Third

King smiled as he looked at the rather small arena in front of him. "It looks awesome," King said as he looked at the small arena in front of him.

"You flatter us your highness, but it was the best we could do on such short notice," Rain said as he looked at the male in front of him. "You say that but you all managed to make this in just a few hours. It's awesome, it looks like an official arena and everything," King said as he looked at the arena in front of him and Rain smiled before nodded. Rain then turned to look at the five figures that were behind him.

"Well then if it's all the same with you, I think it's time we got started. Would all of you please come closer," Rain asked as he looked at the figures in front of him. They all nodded hearing this and stepped into the arena and began to look at the purple haired male in front of him. Rain scanned over the small group in front of him to ensure that they were all there before he cleared his throat looking at the few in front of him.

"We'll be using standard tournament rules," Rain said as he looked at the figures in front of him. "The first rule is if you come into contact with any area outside the arena then you have lost. If you are knocked out or are knocked down and do not stand up by the time I count to ten then you have lost. If you forfeit a match, then you've lost," Rain said as he looked at the figures in front of him and Dillon raised his hand.

"I have a question," Dillon said as he looked at the male and Rain nodded as he looked at the male. "What if we knock each other out at the same time and neither of us gets up?" Dillon asked as he looked at the male in front of him.

"In that event then the match will be declared a draw and once both recover we will move onto another match with a new rule. During this time the first one to stand up on both feet and state the entire sentence "I'm the Champion" is declared the winner," Rain said as he looked at the child in front of him causing Dillon to nod.

"Now, unlike most tournaments we will permit the use of weapons and semblances. However, this is only because most of you are aspiring to become huntsmen and huntresses, and the use of protective body gear is banned," Rain began as he looked at the figures causing Ko to raise his hand and Rain to look at him.

"What if we can create protective gear with our semblance?" Ko asked as he looked at the figure in front of him.

"Not allowed, if you can produce weapons or any other various items that's fine. However protective gear is forbidden, the only exception to this rule is a shield or gauntlets. We have taken the liberty to provide each of you with a weapon of your choice," Rain said as he gestured to the weapon racks located outside of the arena. "We also forbid hitting in the eyes, or in the groin. However, we will overlook these if they are done on accident. If so then the opponent must be given enough time to recover before the match can continue. Now, are there any questions?" Rain said as he looked at the figures in front of him.

After taking a few moments to ensure that no one was going to speak the male smiled. "Excellent, now then, to gauge your skills and other aspects that might have influenced the battle we will be having multiple battles to place all six of you accurately in the tournament. We will also be using the standard six-man tournament layout with the two winners of the last tournament being placed higher. Any questions?" Rain asked as he looked at the several figures in front of him causing them to all shake their head.

"Good, now then I want everyone but King and Vinnie to take a number," Rain said as he held up four folded up pieces of paper so that no one could see their number. Ko was the first to take a number with, Dillon following shortly behind him and Javon doing the same a moment later, and Ember taking hers last. "Now then everyone let me see your numbers," Rain said as he looked at them.

When he said this everyone showed them their number and Rain glanced at them for a moment. "All right then it's settled, the first match is Dillon against Javon. If either of you would like a weapon now would be the time to get it," Rain said as he looked at the two in front of him. As he said this Ember and Ko began to walk away and began to sit beside King and Vinnie with Ember placing her head on King's shoulder as the two on the stage looked at each other.

Both Javon and Dillon had taken the chance to get a weapon however neither went with anything too deadly since this was a tournament and essentially nothing more than a friendly sparring match. The two moved closer and Rain placed a hand between them to separate them. "Ready? . . . begin!" Rain said as he moved his hand from between the two and backed away so that the two could charge at each other.

As he did the two dashed forward and went to strike each other. However, both avoid the attack and the two ended up moving past each other. The two backed up and Dillon turned to attack and was the first to land a successful attack striking Javon in the stomach. When he did Dillion turned and tried to once again kick Javon this time in the face but failed to do so, with Javon stopping the attack and going to strike his Dillon's stomach.

This attack seemed to disorient Dillon enough for Javon to go for a second attack this time punching Dillon in the face. Dillon, however, used this to his advantage and turned to use the back of his hand to hit Javon on the side of the head knocking the male off balance slightly. Dillon then went for an uppercut but Javon managed to stop this attack by pushing his hand slightly so that Dillon would miss.

Javon then tried to punch the male's face and failed as Dillon moved to the side to avoid the attack with Javon turning slightly to try and punch Dillon on the side of the head which he once again avoided by ducking under the attack. Javon used his momentum to his advantage by turning and raising a hand to that when he was once again facing Dillon he could attempt to bring his hand down and strike Dillon's head.

Dillon was once again able to avoid the attack. Dillon then went to punch Javon's face which he blocked and Javon attempted to do the same which Dillon avoided leaning back so that he could attempt to kick Dillon in the face which Javon managed to avoid by ducking under the attack. The two then once again began to clash with Javon blocking most of Dillon's attacks and Dillon dodging most of Javon's.

This patterned continued for a bit before either seemed to gain an edge over the other. Javon went low in an attempt to sweep Dillon's legs which Dillon avoided by jumping over the male's attack then kicking him in the face while he was still in the air sending him back to the ground. 'Enough of this' a voice from Javon's head said as his alternate personality took over and quickly stood up to attack the male.

Javon went to attack Dillon attempting to punch his face which Dillion managed to avoid before moving forward and punching Javon in the stomach. Javon grit his teeth feeling this and went to punch Dillon's head which he once again avoided. Javon then turned and attempted to kick the male and Dillon jumped back and kicked the back of the male's foot as he did throwing him slightly off balance.

Javon grit his teeth seeing this and rushed forward starting to become increasingly irritated with the male in front of him. Javon then ran forward and attempted to punch the male which Dillon stopped and used his free hand to hit the side of Javon's face with his palm sending him to the side. As he did Dillon used this to his advantage and used his other hand to hit Javon on the side of the head sending him back slightly.

As he did Dillon rushed forward to continue his attack and Javon started to avoid his attacks now changing up his fighting style to not only through Dillon off his game but to also help him calm down and make fewer mistakes than he had been. As Dillon continued to attack Javon avoid the attacks before moving back and spinning to kick Dillon in the face sending him into the air slightly as well as pushing him back several feet.

Javon then rushed towards the male and jumped into the air planning to stomp on his face however Dillon moved out of the way and pushed himself off the ground spinning as he did to land on the ground. When he landed Dillon moved forward to kick Javon in the stomach. However, Javon avoided this and attempted to counter with his own kick. As he did Dillon jumped over the male to avoid his attack and Javon followed him looking up as he did.

Javon went low seeing this and an attempt to sweep Dillon's legs when he landed, however, it seemed as if he thought of this idea a second too late as when he went to do it Dillon jumped back into the air to avoid the attack. To keep the same thing from happening again Dillon turned in the air and attempted to kick Javon with the side of his foot which Javon managed to block. However, as he did Dillon once again used this to his advantage pushing himself off the male's hands and continuing to turn once again trying to kick him.

Javon once again stopped this attack and Dillon pushed him away finally deciding to use the weapon he had picked out being a rather small dagger and gripping it rather tightly as he went to punch Javon. As he did Javon avoided the attack and hit the side of Dillon's wrist with his palm forcing him to drop the knife. However, as he did Dillon caught it with his other hand and went to cut him with it.

As he did Javon once again jumped back and Dillon once again went to try and cut him with the knife that he was using. As he did Javon reached to his side now grabbing the weapon he had chosen for himself being a tri-section staff. using it to wrap around Dillon's hand several timed before hitting the side of his wrist forcing him to let go of the knife and sending it into the air. As he did Javon then turned and attempted to wrap his staff around the male which Dillon stopped back kicking him in the knee sending him off balance.

As he did Dillon was sent into the air and he did a flip so that the back of his foot would hit the bottom of the knife and be sent towards Javon cutting his cheek as he did. As he did Javon turned and punched Dillon sending him back several feet before he once again charged forward with Dillon now readying two daggers. "So how is he?" King asked as he turned to look at Ember as the two continued to fight.

"He's actually gotten a bit worse since last time," Ember said clearly discouraged about what she had just said.

"Really?" King asked as he looked at the female in front of him and Ember nodded.

"Yeah it's no longer just two personalities and their no longer both named Javon," Ember said as she looked at King before turning to look at the two in front of her. "I know that besides Javon there's at least three more, one was named Toby, and the other was named Emil. They've even got a different aura signature than Javon. He told me there were more besides those two, but I'm not sure how many more," Ember said as she looked at her friend and felt some guilt wash over her.

Mainly because it was because of her that Javon was like this. He had been staying with her when she was kidnapped and they had just decided to take him as well. They did terrible things to him resulting in his split personalities, and Ember felt a massive amount of guilt over what had happened. Seeing this King looked at her and brought her a bit closer to her trying to comfort her as he did.

He then turned to look at the match and saw Javon kick Dillon on the side of the head. When he did Javon took the end of his staff and was about to hit Dillon with the end of the staff before Dillon shook his head and jumped forward to stop the attack. As he did Javon grit his teeth slightly and prepared to attack him with the other end of the staff however as he did a stream of electricity shot out from the male and began shocking Javon.

Javon then seemed to once again switch personalities however before he could do anything Dillon kicked the male in the jaw and sent him back. Seeing that he was now in the air Dillon saw his chance and took it as he turned and kicked Javon into the air forcing him out of the ring. "The match is over, the winner is Dillon," Rain said as he looked at the two in front of him. "Now for the next match Ember against Ko," Rain said as he looked to the sidelines.

The two then once again walked towards the arena with Ember stopping for a moment to pick out a weapon. After she was finished she walked towards the center of the arena and Rain once again placed a hand between them. "Ready? . . . begin!" Rain said as he moved back. When he did Ember immediately dashed forward and pulled out her dagger attempting to punch the male in front of her.

As she did the male moved back and Ember continued to move forward bringing her hand back and then down missing Ko both times that she attempted to attack him. Ember thing brought the blade up and Ko once again managed to easily avoid the attack. It was always rather obvious that Ember was struggling to keep up with the male as she once again slashed at his stomach which Ko easily avoided and then brought her hand back with he easily stopped knowing that dodging it would have just wasted energy.

Ko then grabbed her elbow and pushed her back slightly. It was clear that she had improved a fair amount since she had started to live with King however it seemed like even that wasn't enough to help her keep up with the others. Ember then once again moved forward seeing this and went for three more slashed forward, then back, and then forward again in a rather predictable pattern.

Ember then turned and tried to kick the male which Ko once again avoided, and then followed it up with a slash that actually came rather close to hitting Ko. Ember then brought her hand back and seeing this Ko moved his hand up hitting the side of her wrist. That last attack of hers was just a little to close for Ko to simply ignore like most of his others. When he did Ember dropped the knife and Ko moved forward to try and kick her side.

As he did Ember jumped back avoiding the attack, as she did Ko continued to turn and used his momentum to go for another kick, this time much higher aiming for her face. As he did Ember went low to dodge the attack and then jumped a few seconds later to try and counter his kick with a kick of her own. However, as he did it seemed like Ko continued to turn and avoided her attack before going for another kick once again aiming for her head.

As he did Ember jumped into the air avoid the attack and went for a kick as well. However this time she aimed a bit lower than the last time and Ko was forced to use his arm to block the attack. When she landed Ember tried to sweep his legs which Ko easily avoided by jumping over the attack before Ember jumped high into the air and flipped slightly to try and bring her leg down on Ko.

He once again managed to avoid it however like before Ko felt like that attack was a little close with him being able to feel the wind from her foot creating a slightly burning sensation as it grazes over his cheek. Ember then turned and went for another attack once again trying to kick the male's face and Ko once again dodged it. Ember then moved forward and attempted to punch the male's face.

As she did Ko rotated to avoid the attack and also kick her in the side. Ember was forced to black this attack and Ko seeing this moved his leg down and over to sweep her legs out from under her forcing Ember to fall down. Ko then raised his leg and attempt to step on her however as he did Ember rolled to the side and picked herself up before once again going for another attack this time kicking the male in the face disorienting Ko as he fell back.

Ember smiled seeing this and went to jump back so that she could rest and have some time to think. However, as she did Ko grabbed her ankle and turned to throw her out of the arena. "Ember has been sent out of the arena. Ko is the winner," Rain said as he looked at the two in front of him. Ember sighed seeing this and stood up dusting herself off as she did and the two began to walk back to the sidelines. "Next is Dillon against King," Rain said as he looked at the two in front of him.

When he said this the two walked to the arena neither of them bothering to pick up a weapon. "Ready," Rain began as he once again placed his hand between the two in front of him.

"I would suggest using your electric powers," King said as he looked at the male in front of him.

"Begin!" Rain said as he lowered his hand and the two dashed towards each other. As they did King went to punch the male and Dillon avoided the attack before trying to retaliate with his own attack. Dillon went to strike his stomach however when he did King caught his fist and pushed him back which surprised Dillon slightly mainly due to the fact that King never seemed to handle physical attacks that well.

Dillon then went for another attack and King once again moved to stop the attack however Dillon noticed something rather odd. King's movements seemed almost unnatural moving to top speed in an instant and coming to a stop just as quick. However it didn't take Dillon long to figure out what King was doing, it was no secret that King had started to become more and more adept with his semblance. Which is what he was using now, King was using his own semblance to enhance his bodies movements and performance.

Dillon then jumped into the air and a second later King followed him catching Dillon off guard as they once again continued their battle. The two continued for a few moments before King was suddenly moved down by an unknown force to just under Dillon where he kicked him in the side sending him slightly higher into the air. Dillon had managed to absorb most of the impact from his attack however because of that he was now spinning rather fast and had to way to stop.

King then once again moved towards him with the aid of his semblance and punched the male in the side him down to the ground. As he did Dillon took a moment still being rather dizzy from how fast he had been spinning. Dillon then saw King's shadow growing larger in front of him and jumped back taking a fighting stance for when King landed. Just as he thought a few moments later King landed in front of him however as soon as he did King jumped and turned to the side spinning at an incredible speed.

He actually began to spin so fast that miniature sideways hurricane appeared around him and King kicked in Dillon's direction sending a large gust of wind towards him knocking him out of the arena and back into the sidelines. "The match is over, King is the winner," Rain said as he looked at the two in front of him.

"Sorry about that," King said as he began to walk back to the sidelines and Dillon nodded.

"Don't be, you actually gave me an idea for my semblance," Dillon said thinking about how King had used his to enhance his movements.

"Next is Ko against Vinnie," Rain said as he looked at the two in front of him and the two stood up and began to walk towards the arena. As they did Vinnie stopped to get a weapon. It seemed as if she planned on taking this a bit more seriously than the others, as she picked up a sword instead of a small weapon like the others had been. "Ready," Rain said as he once again lowered his hand. "Begin!" Rain said as he looked at the two in front of him.

When he said this Ko held up his hand and some rays of the sun seemed to move over before taking the shape of a sword. As he did Ko began to spin it in place showing his competence with a sword. Vinnie then rushed forward with her blade in hand. As she did Ko jumped and flipped over the female so that he had some time to think. However, this didn't happen as he did Vinnie slashed behind her and Ko was forced to stop the attack before he landed.

When he landed Ko flipped back to put some distance between them and Vinne flipped forward chasing after him. When she landed Ko saw that her sword was raised above her head and he quickly raised his sword to stop the attack. As he did Ko turned to push the female back slightly and continued to turn using the momentum of his attack so that he could attack her once again. This time Vinnie was the one to block and push Ko away.

As she did Vinnie once again took another stance as if she were going to stab him. Vinnie then lunged forward and the two clashed looking at each other as they did. The two then pushed back and after they landed they once again charged towards each other. The two then once again clashed however Ko kept pushing forward bringing his blade across hers as he did before turning and swinging at her legs.

Vinnie flipped over his attack when she did she raised her hand and went to swing down on the male. When she did Ko turned and kicked her wrist knocking the blade out of her hand and sending it spinning into the air. As it did Vinnie leaned back and tried to sweep the male's legs which Ko avoided by jumping over her attack. As he did Vinnie raised her other leg to try and kick him and Ko managed to once again avoid this attack.

As he did Ko then closed the distance between them and swung at the female which she jumped into the air to avoid. As she did she turned herself in the air and pulled back ready to once again strike. As she did Ko once again moved to the side avoiding the attack before flipping away from her to avoid the attack. As he did however Vinnie chased after him and when he landed she went to kick in his stomach which he avoided by ducking under her attack.

As he did Vinnie went to flip over him and attempted to strike him with her sword as she did and Ko managed to avoid it. As she landed Ko dashed forward to strike her which Vinnie blocked as he did Ko jumped into the air turning slightly to try and kick her which she ducked under to avoid, and Ko brought his blade down in an attempt to strike her pushing her back slightly. As he did Ko extended his foot and moved it behind hers so that Vinnie would lose her balance and fall.

When she did Ko extended his blade holding it in front of her and she grits her teeth remembering the rules that had been set in place and sighed. "I forfeit," Vinnie said as she looked at the male in front of her. To her, it seemed easier and faster than having to wait for Rain to count to ten. "The battle is over, next is King against Ko," Rain said as he looked at the two in front of him. Ko nodded hearing this and Vinnie began to walk away and King began to walk towards the arena to take her place.

The two then began to stare at each other and Rain placed a hand between them. "Ready? . . . Begin!" Rain said as he removed his hand. When he did Ko extended both of his hands and some more rays of sun moved towards him forming some knuckle knives around his hands. When they did Ko took a basic fighting stance and looked at the male in front of him ready to fight. When he did one King extended a hand as well and several sparkles in front of him appeared forming a sword and the two dashed forward.

As they did the two clashed and Ko altered the design of his weapon so that a hole would be made for King's sword to slip into and begin to hold it. As he did King leaned up and kicked the male on the side of the head disorienting him slightly. King then went for a second attack and Ko raised his hand to stop the attack and Ko raised his other hand and brought it down. As he did King flipped out of the way freeing his blade and swinging it up to knock one of Ko's weapons away from him.

King then jumped in the air while Ko was distracted with his weapon and kicked Ko in the stomach sending him away. King then once again jumped and turned this time kicking Ko's weapon towards him. Ko's eyes widened seeing this and he forced it to disappear before creating another identical weapon. Ko then dashed forward towards King now much more cautious about what he was doing.

As he did King moved out of the way and kicked the male in the back sending him towards the edge. Somehow Ko had failed to notice how close to one of the corners he was. Ko then let one of his weapons fade and reached out to grab the pillar that was at the corner of the stage and held onto it until he was back in the stage. When he did King dashed towards the male and began to attack him.

Ko would have summoned another weapon but with King attacking him he found concentrating on creating it rather difficult. During one of their clashes, Ko shifted to the side and he and King traded places and Ko smiled since now King was the one close to the edge. Ko once again created the same hole for King's sword to slip into and when he did King used it to his advantage bringing his sword to the ground and stepping on the handle pushing it into the ground.

Ko jumped back seeing this summoning a few more weapons however before he had the chance to grab any King kicked him in the stomach sending him back. As he did King slide to where he was and kicked the male in the jaw sending him into the air. King then jumped up a moment later when King managed to reach the male he pulled back and punched the male as he did Ko's eyes widened and he was sent back over the edge of the arena.

Ko panicked seeing this and began to try and think of something he could do to help himself in this situation before he hit the ground. However, before he could think of anything King appeared behind him and kicked him in the back sending him down towards the ground. A moment later he hit the ground and Ko sighed as he felt this and began to slowly stand up while King landed back in the arena. "All right next is Ko against Dillon," Rain said as he looked at the two in front of him.

When he said this the two walked towards the area that they had been placed in and Rain once again placed a hand between them. "Ready . . . begin!" Rain said as he looked at the two in front of him. When he did the two dashed forward with Rain readying both the knives he had gotten. The two then clashed and ran past each other before both turned and looked at the other. Dillon then threw one of the knives that he had and Ko summoned a dagger made of sunlight to deflect the one he had thrown.

When he did Ko then flipped towards the male and kicked Dillon on top of the head forcing him to bend over so that Ko could roll across his back. As he did Ko tossed up his dagger behind his back and caught it with his other hand. When he did Ko went to stab the other male and Dillon stopped the attack and Ko moved back for a moment before he went for another attack attempting cut Dillon's cheek this time, however, Dillon managed to dodge this attack.

Ko then brought his hand back to try and cut him and Dillon once again dodged the attack before Ko could hit him. Ko then raised his hand and attempted to bring it down which Dillon stopped and tried to redirect. As he did Ko moved back and Dillon grabbed his collar and rushed forward headbutting the male and sending him back slightly. Dillon then went to punch the male in the head and Ko dodged the attack.

Dillon then went for another attack and this time Ko stopped the attack and brought his hand down. When he did Dillon followed this up with two more punches both of which Ko dodged. Ko then moved to the side and bent back so that he could elbow Dillon in the face sending him back slightly. In his slightly disoriented state, Ko then grabbed the male's arm and threw him over him before turning and kicking him in the stomach sending him to the edge of the arena.

Seeing this Ko ran towards the male and Dillon waited until he got close before electricity surrounded his body and he managed to get behind the male before Ko had the chance to figure out what was going on. Dillon grit his teeth as he felt his body tense up and course with pain due to the electricity that had been covering his body. Seems like if he wanted to use this ability in battle he'd have to get used to electric impulses entering his body.

Ko then turned and saw Dillon behind him however before he could attack Dillon uppercut the male sending him out of the arena. "The next match is Javon against Vinnie," Rain said as he looked at the figures in front of him. When he said this the two once again began to walk towards the arena with Vinnie once again picking up a sword as she did. When she did Javon stopped and walked over and picked up a sword as well.

"Ready? Begin!" Rain said as he lowered his hand only to raise it a moment later. When he did Javon compared to what most others would have done threw his sword at the female, and ran after it. When he did Vinnie used her sword to deflect the attack clearly confused about what he would willing throw his sword away. However, he got his answer a moment later with Javon leaning down to kick her in the face.

Javon then slid to a stop and pushed himself off the ground punching the back of Vinnie's head before punching her in the jaw. Javon then went for another attack however before he could hit her she caught his fist and brought him close elbowing him in the face as she did, and then kicking him in the stomach sending him back. Vinnie then raised her sword and hit the male on the back with the blunt side of her blade since she didn't want to actually hurt the male.

Javon grit his teeth feeling this and then began to run towards her attacking her as frequently as possible forcing Vinnie to stop the attacks with her sword. Vinnie then went to attack the male and Javon jumped back and smiled before he jumped up and punched the female on the back on the back of the head sending her to the ground. After a few seconds passed and she didn't get up Javon started to become a bit concerned.

"One . . . two . . . three . . . four . . . five . . . six . . . seven . . . eight . . . nine . . . ten," Rain said as he looked at the two in front of him and after he had finished he said and walked over to pick up the unconscious female. "The match is over Javon is the winner," Rain said as he walked off the stage carrying her as he did. "That was the final match give us a moment to reveal the results," Rain said as he laid the female down and began to walk over to Xaintao and Eclipse.

After a few moments Rain nodded and picked up a sheet of paper and began to walk towards the small group in front of him and smiled. "All right so here are the results of the tournament," Rain said as he looked at the figures in front of him, holding up the sheet of paper as if to illustrate his point. When he said they all stopped talking and looked at Rain clearly excited to hear the results of the tournament. "In first place we have King, in second we have Dillon, in third we have Ko, in fourth is Javon, in fifth is Ember, and then in last place we have Vinnie," Rain said as he looked at the figures in front of him. King and the others all smiled hearing this seeming to be happy with what they had all placed.

"So what should we do now?" Dillon asked as he looked at the rest of the figures in front of him.

"Oh, why don't we go to the art room and play darts again!" Ko said as he looked at the figures in front of him and they all cheered and they began to run off towards the room that Ko had mentioned.
