The music boomed through the single room, the heavy bass and drums pounding through the hip-hopper's body.

"Faster. On the beat. Not a second after."

The boy nods, taking a moment to breathe, calming his body a little before the music restarts.

His limbs popping, his chest exposed, every beat feels through his body like rocks and metal.

"Good! Feel it! Embrace it!"

The beat increases, the speed raises, his body moving in ways a normal human should not be able to.

Boneless, smooth, determined, strong.

When the music fades and the boy takes his last pose, he makes eye contact with his teacher.

The tall man smiles.

"I'm proud of you."

"Am I ready to take on the challenge like this though?"

"I know you are." The man nods. "Hoseok, you were born a mighty being. You have yet to experience the distraction in a group. The more you devote yourself to this, the easier it will be."

The boy nods slowly. "But... you... Will you stay with me?"

"As long as you need. I have all eternity, as do you."

°•●•°

Hoseok sits in the office with crossed arms, his eyes burning into the owner's.

Both of them are sitting in silence except for the small growl coming from Hoseok every now and then.

The owner sighs and sits upright. "I assume you read the website." He says.

"You set me on the poll without my permission." Hoseok growls. "You know I am still incapable of being near the ballet dancer. You know I can see it. You know I can feel it."

"I know." The owner nods.

"So then why did you put me there?"

"Namjoon told me to."

"He would never."

"He did though."

Hoseok hisses at him. "You may be older, he may be a pureblood, but so am I." He snarls, pressing his hand on his chest. "I have as much right to my rights as you have. I need more time."

"We don't have more time!"

"Jin, I swear, if you don't remove me from the poll no one in that class will survive!"

The owner, Seokjin, sighs deeply. "You've lived for a long time, as have I, but Namjoon knows you can do it. Tomorrow night is your first blood moon."

Hoseok growls at him. "I told you I'd take the day off."

"I told you it's not possible."

"Tell them I'm sick."

"The group you're teaching is practicing for a competition. You being sick can ruin them and us. You're just going to have to get used to it. That ballet teacher is there tomorrow night too. That is why I put you in there. The choices were made."

Hoseok sighs. "Listen, hyung, he doesn't even like me. Besides, he has no idea how dangerous I can be or how hip-hop works."

"And that's where you come in. You are our best dancer. You can teach him. Your vampirism allows for flexibility that matches a ballet dancer with ease."

Hoseok growls. "What if I fail? What if I do end up losing control? Ballet moves so smooth... their blood flows so cleanly, so calmly. It'll be so relaxing to get a taste of it. Especially the ones who move a lot..."

Seokjin reaches over his desk, flicking the boy's head.

Hoseok whines and rubs over the spot Seokjin hit him and growls at him.

"You can't blame me for thinking that way. It's the truth and it's my truth. I won't be able to last and I don't want those kids in danger."

"Well then." Seokjin frowns. "You better start to control yourself. My decision is final. You'll meet with Jimin to cover the choreo at five, here's the music."

Seokjin holds it the disk, which Hoseok snatches from his hands with a sharp growl.

"If things go wrong it's on you."

"And I'm ready to take on that responsibility."

°•●•°

Listening to the music, Hoseok bites his lip with his fang. It's nothing like what he uses to dance in.

It's heavy bass mixed with a smooth violin, a guitar mixed with the bass that matches the piano.

He's going to have to move elegantly. More... off beat and on beat.

He's going to have to tell a story...

But what story?

His head snaps up at the knock at the glass door.

Our of the big windows Hoseok sees a face. A face with full cheeks, full lips, sharp jaw.

He's... quite short.

Hoseok gives him a nod, and as the door opens, he immediately observes him.

He wears a lilac transparent top cut in half, showing a light part of his stomach and his chest. Wide sleeves around his arms that come together at his wrists.

He wears skin-tight black leggings with a grey flower pattern on the hip, curving around the edge of his thighs and his ankles.

He wears ballet shoes in black, with the same flower pattern on the back of the heel in lilac.

His blonde wavy hair is parted in a middle split, revealing his flawless face with sparkling brown eyes.

Hoseok has to say he was a little impressed.

For such a small male he looked very feminine, probably easy to lift and to hold.

"You must be Hoseok?"

Hoseok nods. "Yeah... You are?"

"My name is Jimin! I'm the second winner of the poll."

If you can call it a win...

Hoseok growls a little to himself. "It's nice to meet you."

Jimin gives him a sweet smile and bows shortly, as Hoseok returns him a nod.

"So... You went through the music?" Jimin asks.

Hoseok nods again. "It's unusual." He mumbles.

He looks up at Jimin again, gulping a thirsty lump down his throat at the sight of the ballet teacher sitting down next to him.

His efforts to get down were nonexistent. He fell elegantly, hooking his legs, back straight.

Blood flowing so smoothly...

He shakes his head a little.

"My body isn't really as smooth or elegant as yours probably is." Hoseok mumbles. "But I can do these popping things."

Jimin tilts his head a little, about to ask what he means when Hoseok is already showing him.

Jimin stares at the way his hand and wrist seem like two entire different bodies. That isn't human...

"That is so cool! How did you do that?!" Jimin gasps in excitement. "Can you teach me?!"

"It's just a little something after birth..." Hoseok smiles shyly. "I don't know."

Jimin smiles at him with excitement. "That's okay... We can start making the choreography!"

Hoseok nods and claps his hands together as he gets back up, Jimin effortlessly going with.

Hoseok looks down at him. The man is at tall as his shoulder, giving him perfect access to look at his smooth, flawless, unmarked skin.

It's a thing for vampires.

Unmarked skin...

It causes a vampire's attraction to a human being to be significantly increased.

The tempting moment to see such gorgeous skin marked with their fangs. It's satisfaction they will never have again.

Vampires hunt. They are and always will be predators. At night they can usually sneak into someone's room, drink from them and get out without any proof or DNA left behind. The skin and flesh heal too fast for their fangs to be identified.

"So, how flexible are you?" Hoseok asks. "Because... I am not."

"I can do the split."

"Really?"

Jimin nods proudly and gives him a teasing wink. "Can you step back a little?"

Hoseok does as told, a little wary, but curious.

Jimin steps back, taking a deep breath before he raises his arms, alters his weight and rotates around on his hands, making a double spin before landing in a split effortlessly.

Hoseok watches his every move like a hawk, his vampiric instincts not letting him go. They're taunting him. Tempting him.

He can feel his gums burning, the temptation to bite him gnawing at him.

"I'm impressed."

"Thanks." Jimin smiles. "I practiced a lot."

Hoseok nods. "I can see. How did you get into ballet?"

Jimin's smile turns into a soft frown before his smile returns. "Well... My parents threw me out when I was seventeen."

"Why's that?"

"They're Christian... Those who fall for the same sex are a sin. I am a sin..."

Hoseok shakes his head. "That's stupid. Everyone knows that being gay is just as fine as being straight."

Jimin nods. "I made my money with a friend who wanted me to do dance. I started on the streets when someone invited me here. I grew into my own body and my own sexuality."

"But... your family?"

"They came after me, for a little while. That's when I finally shoved my money into their face and told them they could suck it." Jimin grins.

Hoseok looks back at him. "You have a little bad blood in you."

"Maybe a lot more than a little." Jimin giggles, giving him a wink. "Let's practice! We want this dance to be perfect."

Hoseok nods and gets up, holding out his hand which Jimin gladly takes.

"Gentleman." The younger smirks, to which Hoseok scoffs.

"Don't get used to it. I'm a rough man."

"I don't doubt it." Jimin grins.

°•●•°

Hoseok slams his hands back on the desk, his red eyes blazing with fury when Seokjin hands him a bottle in red.

"You had that much trouble?"

"I had to touch him." Hoseok hisses. "His bare skin! He was inches away from me! I could smell him, I could almost taste him from a touch!"

Seokjin grins a little. "But don't you feel better in the end?" He looks up, facing the vampire with his own ruby eyes. "You should know best after all. A childhood is one you never had. What do you think he went through? Not an inch of vampirism in his body and yet such surviving qualities. Such... ambition. Courage."

Hoseok glares at him, a click being heard which soon fades. "What do you want with me? I've served you with my life after you saved me. Why do you torture me so with the presence of him?"

Seokjin raises one of his brows, looking past the vampire.

"Was I that bad?"

Hoseok's body freezes at the sound of Jimin's voice. Now that he notices, his scent hits him. Upset...

"You have the guts to say it to my boss, but not to my face?"

"That's not what I meant." Hoseok grumbles. "Not at all."

"Then explain yourself!" Jimin yells, pulling at Hoseok's shoulder only to find the older to stay in his spot like a rock, tightly clutching a plastic bottle.

Seokjin looks at Hoseok, who stares at him without blinking once, begging for help with his eyes, his fingers shaking around the bottle when he feels Jimin's fingers clamping on his shoulder.

But the older vampire only smirks.

"I'm sure Hoseok has something to explain to you. Don't you?"

Hoseok's jaw clenches tightly. "I have nothing to say to you. It's best if we... stay apart."

"Hoseok--"

"You put me in this spot, boss. You know what happened to me. You tell him. I have important things to do." Hoseok snarls, slamming the bottle on the table before he turns and angrily pushes past Jimin, leaving the building.

Jimin watches him with wide eyes before his expression becomes a frown.

"What is his problem?"

"His problem is you." Seokjin shrugs. "But not in the way you think it is."

Jimin turns to the older, his face softening slightly. His gaze falls on the bottle.

"What is that?"

"A bottle."

"But what's in it?"

"Take a look."

Jimin hesitantly leans to take the bottle, opening the cap and bringing the bottle to his nose.

The scent hits him like a truck, immediately dropping the bottle and taking a step back, staring at the leaking liquid on the ground that escapes its lock.

"T-that's... b-blood..."

Seokjin nods. "Hoseok needs it to survive. Without it, he'll die."

"Is this normal?! Is it a medical condition?!"

"No. Not at all. It's a contagious disease brought to one another by contact to the inside of the skin. A scratch, for example. Or more commonly, a bite."

Jimin looks back at his boss. "Hyung... How are you so calm about this? How long have you known about this?"

Seokjin grins. "Jimin, I have it too. But also Namjoon and Taehyung."

"Did... Did I get it?! Am I going to die?!"

Seokjin bursts into laughter, shaking his head. "No, no! Absolutely not! Hoseok is... a special case. While the rest of us were victims of the disease, Hoseok was born with it. He's never had the right education for it, as he lived alone on the streets for most of his life. He... survived for as long as he could without blood, but blood donors and hospitals weren't keen on giving a young strange boy a bag he craved so much for. He lived in a time where they didn't even exist yet."

Jimin hesitantly sits down in the chair, ignoring the stench of blood. "He... lived in a time where they didn't exist yet? But I thought he was twenty six?"

Seokjin nods. "He was. Sometime. He's much older than you think. As am I. I'm older than him."

Jimin shakes his head. "What are you trying to tell me?"

Seokjin takes a deep breath, intertwining his fingers. "Are you familiar with vampires?"

"Of course I am." Jimin nods. "They've told us stories about it from childhood."

"They are no stories. You just made the answer yourself."

"What...?"

Seokjin gives him a sly smirk. "Think about it. I'll give it time to sink in. Hoseok drinks blood. He has a disease carried on by contact with the inside, he speaks in an accent unknown to those in Gwangju."

"Hyung... You're lying! It can't be! This is just another sick joke!"

"Hoseok is hunting right now." Seokjin growls. "He was so tempted by your fluid moves that he came to me to save you from him before he did something he would regret."

Jimin shakes his head, getting up and immediately walking out, muttering under his breath.

It just can't be real.

It just can't...

°•●•°

Jimin sits behind his laptop, his hands in his hair. Everything Seokjin said to him, Hoseok's backstory. It followed everything.

The events in Gwangju that happened two hundred years ago... A young kid, caught for first degree murder. One who looks exactly like a younger version of Hoseok.

It's vague and dirty, but the face evidence was there.

What Hoseok had done in his childhood was terrible. But through some searches of his name, he wondered why he never changed his name. He wondered what Seokjin had done...

He searched Seokjin's name.

Nothing...

Not even a glimpse of the same human being existing. No Seokjin he knew.

He searched Taehyung. Same result.

Namjoon...

There was a whole list.

It seemed neither Hoseok nor Namjoon changed their names. Where Hoseok lived for the kill, Namjoon lived for human suffering.

Namjoon's list contained of a perfectly sharp black and white photo, multiple cases of murder, theft, identity fraud, and so on.

Jimin couldn't believe it. The list started around five hundred years ago... Which the photo evidence had some of. Others had found items with fingerprints discovered earlier the years.

Hoseok really was over two hundred years old. Namjoon really was over five hundred years old.

He had been hired by a vampire... He danced with a vampire.

He remembers Seokjin's words. That his blood was tempting...

He hesitantly reaches for his neck, rubbing over his throat with a sigh. What does a vampire see? What does a vampire feel?

It's a species he never even thought about.

Hoseok was his answer. Hoseok knew the answers.

Jimin frowns, shutting his laptop down and grabbing bag, swinging it over his shoulder.

Risky or not, he has to know.

He has to know why such a merciless killer had saved him from himself.

°•●•°

Seokjin looks up abruptly from his curved position at a familiar man walking in his office.

His blonde hair falls over his face partly, a sickening smirk pressed on his lips.

"You know what night it is, love." He growls. "Come with me."

Seokjin looks down at his paperwork and outside, sighing deeply as he nods.

"I will. It's so suffocating."

"It always has been. Especially for Hoseok."

"Namjoon, what do we do about Jimin?" Seokjin asks softly. "He knows."

Namjoon only shrugs. "Who would believe that a man from centuries ago lives here, alive, young, and healthy? Whoever he talks to won't believe him."

Seokjin frowns. "You never know. We've had to run before."

"But I told you that we're done running. I'm not for nothing a father and even though I'm not Hoseok's biological dad I feel like I raised him from a baby. I refuse to let him live in fear." Namjoon growls.

Seokjin sighs and nods. "Fine. Hoseok is alone with Jimin tonight."

"Do you really think the human will show up after what you told him?"

Seokjin shrugs. "Maybe."

Namjoon scoffs a little. "Whatever he does, let Hoseok do what he wants to. You can't stop a vampire from a full red moon."

"I know."

"Than let us go together. Let's hunt on humans like the old days. Where we'd feast during every moon on the blood and flesh of humans."

"That was in the days where we could do it." Seokjin snarls. "Humans have evolved. They've become smarter. Much to my dismay. I liked it back when we didn't have to hide. When we never had to be careful."

"So let's do it again!" Namjoon growls. "Show those humans what you are!"

With a deep sigh, Seokjin gets up from his desk, glaring right at Namjoon. Without a word, he leaves his office, a smirking Namjoon following him.

That leaves Hoseok alone. Alone with growing thirst and unlimited energy, locked up in his studio.

°•●•°

The moon's bright light was unavoidable from his studio. Hoseok sat there on the wooden floor, fiddling with his fingers.

His fangs have hurt his lip more than he can count, his eyes able to scan through every human, highlighting its veins.

The brightest are always the places where he can feed the most...

He stares outside, unable to focus.

Every single human walking by, every single human walking on the streets below.

He can see them all. He can smell them.

He hears the door slam. He doesn't mind it. He knows Namjoon and Seokjin left. Hoseok hunted in the afternoon, taking many lives for himself.

That's the vampire's secret. They steal the lives of humans to keep living.

Hoseok's ear catches something though.

Yelling.

He focuses a little better, listening over.

"You... You're a murderer!"

"What?"

"You've been punished thousands of times and here you are! Haven't you learned?!"

"Jimin, stay out of what is our business--"

"How long has Hoseok had to put up with terrible caretakers like you two?!"

Hoseok's brow twitches. Jimin's voice is clear. But how did he find out about Seokjin and Namjoon being his caretakers?

What does he know?

Hoseok hears a loud growl.

"You have no idea what we have been through! The torture! This life! We have no choice but to be who and what we are! Until you feel our way you will never understand the pain!"

"That may be, but you have no reason for identity theft! You won't die from starvation!"

"We can."

"Sure! Because blood isn't everywhere in every human being!"

"We get sick too! We can starve too! You have no idea what it's like! You never will!"

"I hope I never will."

With a final hiss, the conversation ends, and Hoseok hears the door slam again.

Jimin's scent runs through the halls, immediately giving Hoseok's instinct a wild drive.

It isn't long before he hears the stairs and his studio door opens and closes.

Hoseok's breathing quickens when he senses the ballet dancer reaching out to him.

"Don't touch me." Hoseok hisses.

"Why?"

"I'm already having a hard time to sit here. It's best if you leave."

Jimin shakes his head. "I'm not leaving. You have some explaining to do."

"Than this can be after tonight." Hoseok snarls. "We can sit down, and I'll tell you what you want. But right now is not a good time."

"Than why are you here and not outside? Or at home?"

Hoseok looks back down again. "The scent... There are many familiar scents here. I want to protect them from myself. It's best if I sit here and get used to it rather than losing it outside and feeling the same tomorrow."

Jimin sighs a little. "Well. I'm here now. Get used to my scent. I want you to explain everything now. I need to know who Jung Hoseok really is."

Hoseok averts his gaze towards him. "I've lived long. I assume Seokjin told you or you were smart and looked it up."

"Both."

Hoseok scoffs. "Of course..."

Jimin looks up at him, sighing softly at the crimson iris that stares down at him.

"You've lived for over two hundred years... You've committed crimes and murder. You survived on blood from the source..."

Hoseok glances back down. "I'm two hundred and sixty three years old." He mumbles. "I come from a time where vampires were common. At night, it became a fight for food. I survived because of my knowledge on the streets. I was young and ruthless. A kid... I had nothing to lose and nothing to gain. I was determined to survive. I killed many humans, but also plenty of my own."

"You speak of this as if you have no trouble with your past." Jimin snarls. "How can you? Knowing that there is blood on your hands. Blood of innocents, mothers and fathers!"

"Like I said I was young." Hoseok hisses, glaring at him. "A child should not have to be born in this life. A vampire is a terrible creature. We're aggressive. We're predators. A hostile race who has instinct of dominance. Our race used to be in packs, but as we starved more, our offsprings became less. Our children wouldn't get the vampiric gen and live as normal humans."

"Than why didn't you just turn them?"

"Our venom wasn't discovered until later in the eighteen hundreds. When a vampire by the name of Kim Namjoon had accidentally turned a pure human into a vampire. I admired him. His reckless actions. His way of moving. He abused our power to do things humans could never get away with. When I tried... He caught me. But he didn't betray me. He didn't kill me... He let me go, only leaving me with a scar of his fangs against my arm. He told me he was here to teach a young human offspring. The human he turned. We had no name for them. Namjoon came up with a name for newly turned humans, and he aimed for an underground facility where he'd train them to be surviving, ambitious, merciless vampires."

"But... Why did he let you go?" Jimin asks softly. "It doesn't make sense... Seokjin said he was older than you. Is he also a pure vampire?"

Hoseok shakes his head with a grin. "He was the first. The first turned human. He was the one Namjoon let me live for. He was an adult, where as I was still a teenager. He is older than me by fifteen years."

Jimin nods, looking up at him. "How are you now? With me here?"

Hoseok looks back at him. "It's... tough. I can feel my throat burning. It's like sandpaper. Every time I swallow it feels dry and rough. My fangs hurt me. It's... torture..."

Jimin looks down. Namjoon was right. Vampiric torture is something he'll never understand. But they have it. Even Hoseok said they could starve.

He yelled at a vampire who could have killed him. But he was kept alive...

"What about your parents?"

"They're dead." Hoseok mutters. "I was a vampire offspring of my mother who was forcefully impregnated with me. My human father promised to care for me as if I was human. They fed me human food and my mother's milk, but it only made me more bloodthirsty. No matter the advise my true father gave, my parents refused to give me a life of theirs."

Jimin looks up at him again. "But your instinct was undeniable..."

Hoseok nods. "I lost control on my fourth birthday. I ended their lives without a second thought and ran away. I refused the help of my true father and left him to find his way... From there on I learned. Namjoon and Seokjin they saw me... They followed me for years. They saw my struggles without a family and instead offered me training. I accepted, but they took me in. I became their child for a few years until I was old enough to be on my own. But our paths crossed again, and we haven't part ever since. Namjoon taught me how to be as agile as him. That's when we found out about breakdancing and hip-hop. We decided to finally live under the humans and make a life for ourselves."

Jimin nods. "So all that you and Namjoon have done... was for you."

Hoseok nods at his words. "He wanted me to survive. He saw my dedication. He felt it. That's how vampires are. Dedicated. Strong leaders and group predators. Together we are strong. But alone we are helpless."

Jimin shakes his head. "That's not true! I've seen you! You're amazing!"

"I have always been with them." Hoseok growls. "Namjoon and Seokjin have always been with me. Taehyung was my victim. I killed him twenty years ago by accident. Seokjin saved him... But he refused to take the vampire life. He still drinks blood, but only from hospitals or animals."

"Something you never had..."

"Precisely."

Jimin stands up quietly and reaches his hand. He smiles at the vampire, who only stares up at him.

"Do you want to dance?"

"What?"

Jimin takes Hoseok's hand, feeling the vampire tense against his skin.

"Dance with me, Hoseok. Touch me."

Hoseok shakes his head and pulls his hand away, his pupils dilating as he gulps down a ball of thirst.

"I can't."

Jimin nods. "You can. Hoseok, I believe you can. After all you told me, didn't you say you survived? That you want to survive? Prove it to me. Dance with me."

Hoseok shakes his head again. "I'll hurt you... I don't want to hurt you... Not on a night like this."

"You've controlled yourself good up until now. I'm sure we can take it one step further." Jimin smiles. "One step at a time."

Hoseok hesitates. Jimin's hand is tempting to grab, but so is his neck. His neck, lit up in his eyes. Veins, glowing up whenever a heavy amount of blood

"I... I..."

Jimin smiles again. "I know you can do it."

Hoseok looks at his hand, sighs, and then takes it. A rush of thirst runs through his body, causing him to bare his fangs for a slight moment.

Jimin flinches, but doesn't lose the smile.

Hoseok gets up, feeling his throat burn. He looks down at the ballet dancer with a hostile growl, his hands shaking in those of the human.

"Trust me." Jimin smiles. "If you really can't hold back, you are free to leave. If you're thirsty, you can bite me. Just don't kill me."

Hoseok looks at him. "I can't promise you any of that. I can't think..."

"Then follow my lead."

Hoseok growls at him when Jimin leaves his hand to set a song. He doesn't like the sudden disconnect.

As Jimin scrolls through different songs, he feels Hoseok's hands on his waist. Giggling at the gentle touch, he feels the taller press his body against Jimin's back, leaning to look over for a song with the ballet dancer.

"Anything good?" Jimin asks.

"Hm..." Hoseok grumbles. "Not that I can see..."

"Just say stop and the song my mouse lands on we'll dance to. Freestyle."

Hoseok nods. He watches Jimin scroll, trying to avert his gaze from the obvious veins in Jimin's neck.

He smells so good...

"Stop."

Jimin smiles as he removes his hand from the mouse and lays his hands on Hoseok's, who flinches and growls.

Jimin clicks the start button and pulls Hoseok into the middle of the room.

Hoseok seems so tense. But really the vampire is quite relaxed. He watches as Jimin leads the beat with his swaying hips, inviting him to touch. To lead him.

With a light smirk, Hoseok steps closer to him, slowly moving along with him.

"See?" Jimin smiles. "You can do it."

Hoseok scoffs a little. "Just you wait. I'll bite you any other day if not tonight. Your scent is burned into my mind."

Jimin grins. "Well then, you better come get me."

Hoseok growls when Jimin pulls his hand away from him and dancer further away from the vampire. A sudden instinct rushes over him. A hunter's instinct.

Hoseok lunges forward, giving Jimin no time to react, as the man is already landing on the ground with a harsh fall.

Jimin squeaks in pain and holds his hands against Hoseok's chest, his arms trembling at the strength of the vampire.

"Hoseok!"

But all the vampire gives him is a loud hiss, a slight drop of venom dripping from his fangs into Jimin's eye.

He screams out in pain, letting go of Hoseok's chest to rub the smoking orb, feeling the stinging, burning, parasite crawling pain from inside.

Hoseok immediately digs down, licking over the skin in his neck before pressing his fangs against his skin.

With a loud growl, he pushes in, releasing his venom into the bloodstream whilst sucking the human cells from it.

Jimin cries out with tears and he holds his hurt eye against Hoseok's shirt and shoulder when he reaches to pull at his skin and hair.

All he can feel is an itch from inside his body. It makes him cry, it makes him scream, it makes him beg for Hoseok to stop.

He shouldn't have lured that beast inside to come out...

With a last whine, Jimin's grip releases, the man falling limp in Hoseok's grasp.

°•●•°

"Fuck... Fuck, fuck, fuck... Pick up! Pick up!"

The phone rings a few times before it gets lifted, and Hoseok wastes no time to shout into the device.

"HYUNG!! I bit Jimin and I don't know what to do! He won't wake up! It's been two hours!!"

"You... WHAT?!!"

"I'm sorry! I warned you! He won't wake up! Hyung, just help me!"

There is a sigh on the other line before he can hear a short mumbling conversation until Namjoon's voice fills his ears.

"Hoseok."

"Joon..."

"Did you release venom?"

"Quite a lot."

"Did you leave his body unharmed?"

"He has no blood exposed..."

"Did all of your venom stay in one bloodstream?"

Hoseok stays quiet for a bit. "Well... When I attacked him I got excited and a drop came in his eye..."

"That's the reason." Namjoon mutters. "No worries. A usual transformation is long because the one bloodstream has to take it to another all throughout the body and organs. With the eye infected it can take longer. Keep an eye on him. We'll be on our way."

With that, Namjoon hangs up, leaving Hoseok to bite his nails.

He warned Seokjin for this...

After another hour, his head snaps up when he hears a soft groan. He leans over and grabs Jimin's hand.

"Jimin?"

The blond opens his mouth, releasing a whiny growl, revealing two sharp fangs in his mouth.

"Just... Quiet... It's bright..."

"Oh, sorry!" Hoseok squeaks, rushing over to the light switch and immediately flipping it.

The infection in Jimin's eye definitely showed. It has affected the skin around it. It marked a large red scar over the eye, just barely under his eyebrow and reaching his ear.

Jimin blinks a little before slowly fully opening his eyes. Or well...One of them. The other only opens partly.

Hoseok grimaces at what he did. He regrets it...

"Thanks..." Jimin mutters, slowly sitting up.

He looks down, grabbing his head. He feels a bit dizzy. He looks up at Hoseok, noticing his sad gaze.

"What's wrong?"

Hoseok looks down at him. "I... I hurt you... I ruined you..."

Jimin cocks his head a little. "I don't feel weird. My eye and my neck just hurt."

At the sound of the word eye, Hoseok grimaces. "I'm sorry. It was an accident... I warned him for this."

Jimin sighs deeply. "Hoseok, it's fine... I just need to feed, don't I? That's it?"

Hoseok immediately shakes his head. "No, no, no! There is so much more to remember! Are you thirsty? Do you need blood?"

He kneels down besides Jimin, holding out his arm.

The younger looks down at the limb, shaking his head a little. "It's a bit too soon to be drinking already."

"It's better if you do." Hoseok says softly. "If you wait long the scent won't sink in right. It could become really messy if you go loose outside..."

Jimin hisses at him. "I'm not thirsty."

"Drink it, Jimin." Hoseok hisses back. "I know what's best in these crucial minutes. Drink."

Jimin growls at him, looking back down at the arm offered to him. He grabs Hoseok's wrist with a frown, baring his fangs and hesitantly feeling the skin against the tips.

"We... usually prepare the skin for a bite by licking. It hurts less. You won't have to now. I can take it."

Jimin huffs against his skin, digging in, pricking open the epidermis and eyes widening at the feeling of flesh wrapping around his fangs.

Blood trickles down Hoseok's arm, Jimin's lips trembling as the crimson drops hit his bottom lip. He licks it up, his eyes giving a slight glow at the rich taste.

"Just lick it up. Our fangs don't drink for us. They allow us to drink better."

Jimin nods, darting his tongue out to lick the heavy drops of blood.

The door slams open, scaring Hoseok a little, but Jimin keeps drinking, unbothered.

"Good..." Namjoon mumbles. "You know what to do..."

"Taehyung was a problem child." Seokjin growls.

Hoseok nods. "He was a little stubborn, but he's drinking well."

Namjoon nods. "Nice pair of fangs too."

"Real pretty." Seokjin rolls his eyes. "That's what you said to me too."

"I mean, what else was I supposed to say?" Namjoon shrugs. "You look terrible?"

"You should tell the truth!"

"Fine. Cute fangs." Namjoon huffs. "Not long, but nice and sharp."

Seokjin smiles. "See, wasn't that hard."

Namjoon growls at him before turning back to Hoseok. "I'm sorry for letting this happen. You were right and I should've listened. Can you let me see that eye?"

Jimin slowly pulls his fangs from Hoseok's skin, frowning a little at his questions and turns his head further away.

He looks at Hoseok. "Is it bad?"

Hoseok nods softly. "Yeah..."

With a slight sniff, Jimin presses his hand on the scar. The skin is completely numb, only showing the traumatizing event.

"But it's okay." Hoseok smiles softly. "And I'm sorry..."

Jimin shakes his head. "It's not your fault. I challenged you..."

"But I attacked. If I held back or didn't let you fall the venom would have dropped on the floor. Not in your eye."

"One day we can laugh about this." Jimin says softly. "One day..."

With a smile, Jimin shows his eye to the two older vampires, where Seokjin gasps a little at the damage done, and Namjoon frowns a little.

"That isn't little." Namjoon growls. "You are aware that this is permanent?"

Jimin nods. "I'm aware."

Seokjin looks at him. "Would you like to hunt with us? It is the blood moon after all. We must celebrate the birth of a new vampire one way or another."

Jimin's smile brightens and he nods. "I'd love to! Can you just give me a little moment with Hoseok?"

The two vampires nod before leaving the room, making their way to Seokjin's office.

"Why did you--"

Hoseok's sentence gets cur off as Jimin presses their lips together, gently pulling back with a smile.

"Thank you..."

With that he gets up and runs out, yelling for the two other vampires, leaving Hoseok with a growing smile and a bright blush, touching his lips, where Jimin's warmth still remained.

He looks back at the door before getting up ad well and running after them, ready to return Jimin his own love.
