Eve is once more lost in her dreams, but this time they aren't nightmares. She moans as she dreams of what Dave had done to her the night before.

She feels lips on her neck and she lets them have more space. Then she feels his hands on her and she wakes up. "If you stop now, I'll never forgive you." Eve threatens and Dave would chuckle but he's too busy kissing her body.

He makes sure that she is well pleasured before he leaves the bed and goes to the shower.  Eve slips into the room and starts brushing her teeth. "Want to join me?" Dave's voice calls from the shower.

"It won't bother you?" Eve says slowly thinking things over.

"Oh it'll bother me alright, just not how you think it will." Dave is doing his best to not look at her, she hadn't bothered to put any clothes on before she came in the room.

"You gave me pleasure last night and then again this morning. Is there some way I can do the same for you without you..." Eve still isn't sure what the man does but she can guess.

Dave answers slowly, "There is, but it isn't something I was going to ask you."

"Why?" Eve naively replies.

"Because although it will give me pleasure it also might be the final straw on my control."

"You know, Dave, if I didn't have that damn alliance hanging over my head I'd know that you were courting me because you actually want me."

That did it. Dave was out of the shower and hauling her to the bed. 

He had a hard enough time making sure that she was ready for him before he entered her. He had to force himself to make sure that she was pleasured even though he already was close to exploding. Somehow he managed to hold himself back until they came together.

"Fuck, if I'd known what I was missing all this time-" Eve says before Dave shuts her up with a kiss.

"Until you tell me we're through for good, I'll kill any man that thinks of even touching you in this way.

"You're free now, Eve. All you have to do is tell me to go to hell and you'll be sending me there, but I'll let you be free." Dave says leaning on his arm and looking at the woman at his side. "Going to bed with you last night, waking with you this morning and this of course has shown me what heaven truly is. This is what I want, Eve.

"Now you have to decide, if this is what you want. I'll leave you, if that is what you decide, but I pray it isn't." Dave gives her a kiss and sends her out of the bed. "I'll shower latter. You need to get ready, you only have an hour before Zander will show up to take you furniture shopping."

"Have breakfast with me?" Eve says getting out of bed. She winces as she takes a step. She hadn't realized that she would hurt afterwards.

"I would be honored. It will only hurt this first time. If you allow me to do so again it won't hurt you like it did."

"Oh, I didn't understand when I read about it. Nothing quite like experience over reading." Eve makes her way to the bathroom and he hears the shower turn on and her getting in.

Dave hopes he didn't just ruin everything with his impatience. He gets up and picks out some clothes for her. He takes them into the bathroom and sets about getting himself dressed. He doesn't like wearing the same clothes as last night, but he hadn't planned on spending the night.

"I'm going to my rooms to get showered and dressed. I'll be back in about thirty minutes." Dave tells her. He doesn't want Zander or Peter to know that he spent the night or they'd kill him.

"Oh, okay. What would you like for breakfast?" Eve calls out.

"I'll order it when I come back." Dave says then gives her a quick kiss before leaving.

If he'd known what heaven waited for him with Eve he'd never of touched the other woman. No woman has ever been that good in bed, ever. Which is mind boggling since she is the most innocent female he's ever been with.

Eve is just entering the main room when there is a knock at the door. Maria answers it before Eve can. She relaxes when she hears Dave's voice.

"Good morning, Eve. I thought we could have breakfast together if that is alright with you?" Dave says for their audience.

"Yes, I guess that would be fine. You know what I usually have," Eve tells him allowing him to do the ordering. She goes to the couch and sits down.  Dave sits in the same chair as the night before.

"Eve, I didn't ruin things by rushing you this morning did I?"

Eve gives him a brilliant smile. "Ruin them? Oh, no, Dave, I think I could get used to that kind of morning. When are you leaving?" 

Dave sighs, "I have to leave later today. I have some important meetings that can't be moved or missed. If Zander was there he could cover for me, but Leo doesn't have the control necessary to deal with some of the people. They like to push buttons."

His words tell Eve just which business he's talking about. "Pharma or metal?"

"One of each. Pharma tomorrow and then metal the next morning."

Eve doesn't like the sound of that. "Nothing ever goes well for those early meetings."

"Wasn't my choice. The negotiator set the time and that was the only time available." Dave says tiredly.

"Dave, if you love me, you'll listen to me and cancel that metal meeting. Something isn't right."

Dave examines her, something about this meeting has her spooked. "I wish I  could but I've already invested nearly a million and can't blow it now."

"Nothing has changed has it? What has more value, Dave? Those damn metals or human life? Remember the last time when you didn't listen to me? Call off that meeting. Tell them either to reschedule or you're not taking delivery."

Unheard to either of them Zander and Peter had been let into the apartment.

"Boss, if Eve says it's a no go you should listen to her," Zander says carefully backing Eve.

"What do you say, Peter?"

"Well, since I ended up hospitalized last time you didn't listen I think you know what I'm going to say."

Dave takes his phone out and not looking at Eve makes a call. "Yeah, this is Tuelleries. Yeah, about the shipment, we're going to have to cancel. We no longer have the deal with the Italians and so no longer have the need for the metal." Dave listens to the angry voice on the other end of the line.

"Yes, I realize that it's inconvenient for you and the last minute. That's why I'm not going to ask for my money back. That's right, the money is yours and you'll still be able to sell the metal to someone else." Dave listens a bit more then hangs up.

"He wasn't happy but when he realized that he not only got to keep my money he'd also be able to sell the metal he was much happier. I think he already has a buyer ready for it."

"He was going to double cross you," Eve says flatly.

The other two nod at her words.

"Perhaps he was, but it doesn't matter. I'll have to find a new supplier though. If I can't trust him."

"Like you said to him, you no longer have the deal with the Italians. The need for the metal isn't as great as before."

Before anything else can be said Maria brings the food over to them. 

"You're joining us for breakfast, Boss?" Zander says taking a seat next to Eve and helping her before taking his own.

"Eve was generous enough to invite me to join you after talking last night."

"We're not back together, but I've agreed to allow him to court me. Which will be interesting since I'll be staying here and he'll be returning home." Eve says baldly.

"Boss?" Zander watches him.

"She needs this time to decide if I'm good enough for her to give another chance. I'm hopeful, but it's not by any means a sure thing. I'll be working my ass off to make her see that I am worth it." Dave says sourly. Now more than ever since he destroyed any hold he has over her this morning. But he can't regret doing it.
