Man another great game last tonight.

So today's game had Kyle Hendricks going for the Cubs and Jeff Samardzija for the Giants.

To start off the game in the bottom of the 1st Ben Zobrist hits a RBI (RBI means run batted in) Single to put the Cubs in the lead 1-0.

Then in the bottom of the 2nd inning the Cubs scored three runs in that inning to extend the lead 4-0. Two runs by Kyle Hendricks and one run by Kris Bryant. Also Jeff Samardzija got taken out of the game only pitching 2 innings. But the top of the 3rd inning the Giants scored two runs to make it 4-2.

The top of the 4th inning something bad happened to the Cubs pitcher Kyle Hendricks, he got hit on his pitching arm with a line drive back to him so he had to be taken out of the game only pitching 3 and 2/3. So the Cubs had to rely on their bullpen.

In the bottom of the 4th inning Cubs bullpen pitcher Travis Wood hits a solo home run to make it 5-2.

The score stayed the same and the Cubs won 5-2, leading the series 2-0. So the Cubs are heading to San Francisco for Game 3 and if the Cubs win Game 3 they will advance to the National League Championship Series.

Also the trainers X-ray Kyle Hendricks to see if there was anything bad since he got hit on his pitching arm and the results came back negative, so that's good news.😃
