Backstory/Headcanon:  Inferno was created to be an animatronic child's birthday performer where she performs magic tricks, and to be the leader of the animatronics.  But one day as she was performing, she had a glitch in her criminal database and facial recognition scanners and ended up attacking a customer who she mistook to be a wanted felon.  The customer survived the accident and tried to sue the company for lack of safety but before the case went to trial, the company made a deal with the customer.  The deal was that the customer would drop the charges if the company paid their medical bills, and get rid of Inferno.  So Inferno was retired and put into storage.  

Shortly after, the company eventually brought her out to use her for parts to create Circus Baby.  Once Circus Baby was built, the company returned Inferno to storage where she remained for years.  During those years in storage Inferno's hatred for Baby grew to the point that she forgot about the malfunction and instead blamed Baby for her predicament.  One day, she was re-discovered by Lolbit, who had stumbled upon the secret door that led to her prison.  Lolbit was built after Circus Baby, and therefore did not know who Inferno was, and Inferno could not tell her because her voice box was given to Circus Baby.  

When Lolbit introduced Inferno to the other animatronics, they were all shocked to say the least, as they all thought Inferno was dead.  After the initial shock faded, the animatronics proceed to practically tackle Inferno to the ground with hugs, all except Baby, who was standing in the back trying to go unnoticed. Unfortunately, Inferno did notice her and tried to charge at her, infuriated.  She was only stopped by Lolbit's ability to interfere with electronics.  Lying helpless on the ground, the others took the opportunity to try and convince Inferno that it was not Baby's fault that Inferno was scraped.  Of course, it is not easy to forgive someone after years of hating them, and Inferno only relented so that Lolbit would allow her to move again.  

After Inferno was released, it took her a while to become accustomed to her new life as a retired animatronic.  She eventually found enough parts to partially rebuild herself and with help from Lolbit, learned how to reprogram and hack into electronics using the control panel in her right arm.  Inferno still dislikes Baby but has learned to live alongside her and her friends.
