Backstory: Alpha was created because Ingen was given crap about their dinosaurs not being realistic.  So in an effort to appease the crowds, Ingen mixed bird DNA with velociraptor to make them smaller and have feathers.  Although Alpha does have feathers, he is larger than the female raptors and, what Ingen didn't account for, is much more colorful.  Although deemed a failure, Alpha was put in with the others to see what would happen.  After a territorial fight, which left Alpha's snout scarred, he was excepted into the pack as an Omega, eventually working up the ranks to be his name-sake.  Despite being the official Alpha of the pack, Alpha still took orders from Owen and did not turn on the humans when the Indominus Rex told the others to.  After Rexy defeated the Indominus, Alpha and the pack followed her and pretty much accepted her as a raptor.  (P.S. I didn't have motivation to make a good backstory)
