The Hacker
As most Pokemon fans/readers that have Wattpad may already know, The Hacker is a book written by a girl who goes with the name of Avalon, Dragons_Rose. She currently has a total amount of 4K+ votes for this particular book, though I honestly think it deserves more.
I know this came up so randomly [but surely my friends here on Wattpad know how random I can get at times], but I decided to leave a little message for Rose over here (since I don't know if it would even fit in the comments in the book).
So, Rose, this message's for you...
[for those who haven't read the book, please do NOT read the message, seeing as it might serve as a spoiler. ALSO, CHECK IT OUT NOW. PLEASE.]

[bear with me because this is going to be little long...]
This story is... Wow, I never thought I'd get so emotional over a Pokemon story like this. It was simply wonderful, to say the least. Perfect, with emotions pulsing through each chapter and questions just waiting to be answered in every corner.
I couldn't comment in every chapter because I was too caught up in the story to do so, that part I must confess. Leaf Verde... You portray her as one heck of a character, a genius that lives up to her name, but yet still a human that has a heart, as well as humanly feelings. You portrayed her as a possible idol, portrayed her as a girl whose level is almost unreachable, but still portrayed her as someone who was human, who was not impossible to reach, after all. Leaf Verde appears to be a girl I would want to spend every spare minute talking to, if I were given the chance to meet her.
At first, I personally thought the story was going to follow the small steps the protagonist was going to take, like how she got each and every badge slowly by slowly, but I was surprised that she had beat the League in such a short amount of chapters. Maybe that could be considered as an 'amateurish mistake,' but really, it made us readers wonder, "Is there anything more interesting that's going to happen than it has been now?"
Blue, Red, Eos, heck, even her Pokemon... You portrayed them all so wonderfully, so simply that it could have been a part of the story itself, but made them all in a way that made each character so special and so apart from the rest. I personally liked Marowak's the best, and I must confess that I had to break down in tears in multiple parts of the story.
There were some grammatical errors that needed to be fixed, but hey, what book doesn't? The plot itself was more than enough to make up for it, what with it being so intriguing and just so original. I felt myself loving this book more and more as the story progresses.
The chapter near the ending, where she confessed to Mew what had been tearing her apart all along - her due betrayal. During the part when Red forgave her after finding out she had been the one responsible for his banishment, I had felt awful for Leaf because she would have to betray him again, and she did, but only to save them all. Again, you portrayed Leaf as a genius among geniuses, yet still a human. She knew the right thing to do all along, as a genius, she knew that Mewtwo wouldn't keep his part of the bargain - yet still she chose the other option just so she could save all those she holds dear.
The ending. I can't say I really like the fact that she was pulled back in time, from 2014 to 1988, but what really ignited my love for this book was that, despite it being so much of a fictional book - getting sucked into a game? - the events and the ending were just so damn realistic. Yes, like you said in multiple parts of the book, there won't be no ending for the story, because it never ends. The story always goes on. Always. And the fact that you added Red in as a sure happy ending for the book - not Leaf's story, because as you said, the story always goes on - made my heart burst in happiness. I honestly thought the ending was going to be bittersweet.
I really salute you, Rose. Your book may have just ignited the spark that could cause me to continue writing Pokemon stories again. Your book may have just ignited the spark that I thought would be dead from now until then. Please don't ever stop writing. I want to read more of your works soon! I am now a devoted fan of yours. *bows chivalrously*
