Chapter 64: At Gabby's Concert
"I hate it when she ignores my call like this." He muttered looking extremely worried. Just then, Mr. Tim pushed the door, slightly opened.
"Sir, we have the first draft of our production ready for viewing, in the conference room."
"Alright, I'm coming." Jade replied him, still failing her number if she'd probably pick up but she didn't.
'I don't know what's wrong with me. I feel a part of me breaking inside for someone that don't even care about me. I'll have to end this as soon as possible.' Sapphire said to herself as more tears washed through her sad eyes.
Zoey caught Sapphire being so moody. She watched her for a while, thinking about what her bestie just told her.
"So, you're saying that there was a woman who kept saying, My Jadee?"
"Yeah. And her body language wasn't too subtle, either." Sapphire muttered calmly, still in tears. "I have no chance at beating her to this game, if it is. Right now, I'm just so tired of everything."
"Who could she be?" Zoey asked. Thinking if she's a model or probably an actress. I know all the regulars at my shop and I feel she came purposely just to piss you off. She must be a so, jobless person to have followed you to my shop. I mean..."
A vibration from Sapphire's phone stopped Zoey's words. Sapphire's glittering eyes looked at the screen of her phone on the table. It was Jade, calling.
"Wow! Here comes Mr Romeo!" She joked with so much excitement, laced in her voice. "I'd totally pick up if I were you. Aren't you curious to know who that woman is?"
"Of course, I am! But this guy needs to be punished today. That's good for him, don't you think?"
Zoey couldn't help but to blush at her friend's words. "You crazily want to speak with him but you're avoiding him because he's seeing someone else? OMG! You're so cute, Fire."
Sapphire suddenly wiped out her tears with the back of her hands and picked her hair in a bun.
"Oh yeah! I won't cry for him anymore! It's his time to cry for me. That's being fair!"
"Why weren't you picking up?!"
"I had a lot to think about. She explained. What are you thinking off? It's not as if you're the country's president. Stop ignoring me, Fire! You're not the type to be mad just because I didn't take you home."
"No, I'm mad because of that! I left home because of you and the left me on the streets!" She hissed and cuts the call abruptly before throwing it on the bed.
"How annoying? I wonder why I'm still worrying for that piece of asshole. I never would have run into that nasty woman, if he'd taken me home." Sapphire took a cup of water and sipped from it. She loose the bun as her wavy, Auburn hair poured down her pale face like tomato sauce on plain, sliced bread.
She heaved heavily and rested the back of her head to the wall.
"Breath in, Fire. You spark in bright colours and burn through every difficulty... You'll definitely get through this." she said to herself and brought out the dating contract.
Her eyes searched through the piece of paper, line by line and paragraph by paragraph.
"Is that why he wanted to date for six months?" A frown appeared on her face as she she read through.
"Well, I guess he's dated me longer than anyone else. It's not like I was planning to have a long relationship with him, anyway. But still, why do I have to deal with that crazy bitch?!" She hiss gasped at herself in discontent.
Ring! Ring!! Ring!!!
Sapphire rushed to her phone, thinking that it Jade. A disappointed look covered her face as she saw that he wasn't the one.
"Hello Gabbie. Any good news for me?" She started.
"Yes. As always sis!" He replied her joyously over the phone.
A smile brightened up her face as she heard his voice.
Meanwhile, Jade was trying her contact but it wasn't reachable.
'The number you failed is on another call. Please leave a message or try again later, thank you.'
"Ugh!" Jade muttered frustratingly in his CEO voice. "She's driving me nuts..."

30 Minutes Later...
Sapphire met with Gabriel Anderson as she accompanied him to his first, biggest concert, which was going to hold at BB Mall.
Gabby felt his heart beating so fast. As it is, he's someone who still gifts with stage fright but he's so talented with what he do.
“Come on, Let's hurry. But close your eyes and breath in, Gabbie. I hope it goes well.” She pulled him to the stage Wich held up in an open space, outside BB Mall.
"Hey, mum!" Ruby grabbed her phone and placed it to her ears.
"Just having fun... Don't worry about me. Love you, mom. Bye!" She cuts the call before going to where the concert was held.
It looked like a small garden with various colour if flowers. Some passerby stopped to watch Gabby play an emotional, romance song. It sounded slow but some had water in their eyes because of how touchy it's words were, while others had a smile. Sapphire and Ruby were these kind of people. They sat close to each other, admiring Gabbie's mind-blowing talent and creativeness.
Sapphire looked really happy. If she'd done something great in life, it would be helping Gabby reach for his dreams. She stared at him like a previous, glowing star in the sky. Definitely, he would become the celebrity as soon as he gets more appointments and all that.
Ruby on the other hand is a secret admirer. She came to BB Mall all because she wanted to watch Gabby play life. She blushed at his every word and loved how his fingers stormed through the guitar string. It felt as if he's pulling the strings of her souls as she's loving him even more.
While singling, Gabby looked at Sapphire and she gave him a thumbs up, meaning he was doing great. Ruby blow him a kiss you, even though he notice her.
"Wow! Isn't our Gabbie doing great?"
"I know, right. He's just so cool. Ruby replied, in her girlie voice. Yes, I've made a good choice. She said to herself as a bright smile widened on her lips.
On the other side, Ace was watching everything. He noticed how Sapphire smiled and how they share eye contacts. Determined to know their relationship, he left what he was doing to watch the concert.
However, he was the one that organized it. Ace smirked at a thought in his mind as Gabby ended the music. The audience thunderous clap sounded like raindrops on rooftops.
After the concert, Gabby came to meet Sapphire as he wrapped his arms around her, giving her a soft, motherly guy.
"You did great my dear. Did you hear the applause earlier? You were totally amazing!" She whirred at him excitedly as he smiled too.
Just then, Ace went to meet Sapphire. She seeing him there was unexpected. "Good morning, sir." She greeted. "So we meet again?"
Y"es, we meet again." He replied her with so much warmth in his tone. "Are you Gabriel's manager?"
"No... It's not like that. I'm the president of his fanclub but you can just consider me his guardian." She smiled and noticed him for a moment. "Umm.. sir, what brought you here?"
"Oh, I'm in charge of BB Malls PR department. We were the ones who planned for him to have a concert here today." He revealed.
"Oh, really?" Sapphire exclaimed in amazement.
"Thank you." She told him. "He's still a trainee, so he hadn't been able to perform much."
"Thank you sir. I'm truly grateful." Gabriel have him a hand shake.
"Oh, it's nothing. It's not like it was a huge concert, anyway. It's just a small concert, so, I'll see that Gabby here is able to perform as often as possible for out customers." He said, with his head left high. Well, Ace is taller than Jade so Sapphire stretched her sight upwards, a bit to understand him better.
"Thank you." Sapphire and Gabriel greeted once again.
I felt that.
