TIME SKIP TO ABOUT A YEAR LATER ?

(Ocho's POV)

I awoke in my bed , sitting up in the mess that is my bed , I got up and rubbed my eyes , I realized I had school today , the first day of school , where I can see everyone grown up , it was kind of scary , my mind immediately went to Tobias , we had only texted and flirted , he wanted our looks to be a complete surprise , I didn't object because he'd hoax me into it anyway , my heart raced and I smiled , putting on my gray sweater with my black ripped jeans , attaching my key chains to the belt loops , putting on my favorite platform boots , I looked a little different , well , I was a little broader , and I somehow got more freckles than I had . But the biggest change was my hair , I got it in a very wavy 'aesthetically pleasing' hairstyle , I also have a lot more ear piercings along with a nose piercing . My attention was drawn to my old beanie , I remembered fond memories when I looked at it , I smiled and picked it up , gently placing it on my head before turning to my reflection in the mirror . I noticed how much I really changed , I took it off and grabbed my newer one , placing it on my head "It's almost time to head to school , hm . . ? " I sighed as my mom came into my room to take me downstairs for breakfast , she smiled at me "You're so eager to go back to school , hm ? " she laughed , I smiled with her , and she took me downstairs , eating my breakfast quickly .

(Tobias' POV)

I woke up on my couch , sitting up and rubbing my head "When did I get here . . ? " I mumbled to myself , getting up and remembering . . . . ITS THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL TODAY . I panicked and ran up to my room rushing to pick out a good outfit , I remembered mine and Ocho's promise 'I can't wait to see him again . . . ' I smiled fondly and got changed , putting on my headband , wondering how much he's changed , I know I've changed quite a bit , my hair was much shorter , I was taller , plus , I had more muscle . I put on a short sleeved shirt with shorts , along with some green sneakers , I looked like a typical 'jock' , but I didn't like to dress up for the first day , I liked to for the rest of the year , , sometimes . I had a few piercings , not many though , I also had a tattoo , one on my shoulder , it was just a cool video game design . I went back downstairs and ate breakfast , my mom and dad out for work . I sighed as I washed my dishes , feeling so . . Nervous . . . For the first time on the first day . I have someone to actually prepare for . I wondered again about how he changed , it nagged at me . I wondered if he'd realize I'm not good enough for him and leave me . I pushed the thought away and got ready to leave , slinging my backpack over my shoulder , leaving to get onto the bus .
