~Back when Iida was in middle school~

Parent teacher meetings were always incredibly nerve wracking when they finally swung round. Your class was coming in haphazardly, many complaining that the math teacher took too long. Each one had at least one parent or guardian in tow. Many looked grave so far. It was then that Iida Tenya proudly saunters in, you wouldn't say it out loud but you were proud to have him in your class. He was smart and respectful, an all-round nice guy. Then his guardian came in. 

Where did your ovaries go? They were here a second ago.

You turn a bit pink and offer them a seat and something to drink.

"So, I'm Tenya's homeroom teacher, Miss. ______ ________. You are?"

"I'm Tenya's older brother, Iida Tensei. Our parents weren't able to be here" He replied, putting his hand out for you to shake. You gripped his hand and shook firmly, a smile on your face. Pulling his hand back, Tensei gets comfortable in the chair, also a bit pink. Iida just stares at you.

"Ahem, well as I'm sure you are aware, Tenya is a fantastic student. He is attentive and works well. I'm truly happy to be his homeroom teacher, he really is a delight." Tensei ruffles Tenya's hair much to the younger siblings chagrin.

"I'm glad he's so good, a bit different from me at that age." He chuckles and you giggle with him.

"I agree, I made a bit of trouble myself." Both of them are a bit taken aback. 

"Really?" You nod.

"Although I knew I wanted to be a teacher apparently I didn't want to make my own teachers lives easy. Anyway, I have no real concerns for Tenya, he's heading down a good path. He'll definitely be a good hero." You grin, Tenya blushes a little bit and Tensei puffs out his chest with pride.

"Speaking of heroes Miss. _______, my brother is a pro! He is Ingenium."

"Really, well that is truly amazing! I'm guessing you're a role model for Tenya then?" Tensei flushes a little.

"Ah, yes I guess so!" He chuckles again. He seems a lot calmer than Tenya, but he becoming quite flustered. Then again, you were both around the marrying age so you can assume that may play a part in this.

"Do you have any questions for me?" You need to draw this to a close, you can practically feel the murderous intent of some parents from the door. They both shake their heads and you bow.

"Thank you for seeing me this evening, good luck in your endeavours. Oh, and mister Ingenium?" Tensei freezes.

"Yes?"

"Please continue looking after everyone."

"Of course." He stiffly wanders out after Tenya. 

You start to talk to another set of parents when Tensei quickly jogs back in with a pen and scrawls his number on a sticky note.

"So you can uh, call me if you need me. Uh, that is to say if you need Ingenium." You giggle and nod, blushing a bit.

"Thank you." You wave him goodbye.

~Present Day~

You hadn't had a single chance to use the number that was given to you exactly 6 months ago and it was driving you insane. You can only gasp at your luck when you run into Tenya one day after his school day at the UA. You caught up and he invited you to come with him to see his secondary training. It seems he still had a bit of a puppy crush on you. You accept and he leads you to an agency and in no time there is Tensei. He looks a little exhilarated to see you, so much so his concentration wanes and he's sent to the floor by a training bot. He leaves the training area, his helmet in his hands and a sheepish smile on his face.

"Ah, that wasn't my proudest moment..." He rubs the back of his neck and looks away from you. You gaze off to the side and giggle. Tenya stares between the two of you and it suddenly clicks whats going on. He blushes a little and steps into the training room to let you two talk.

"So, how have you been Mister Ingenium?"

"You can just call me Iida - or! Or Tensei..." He flushes.

"Ah, well um... You can call me ____(first name)."

"So, I know this is sudden but was a too forward with my phone number or...?"

"Oh, oh no, God no. It's just... Look it's gonna sound desperate but I have roamed the streets looking for an excuse to call your number. To call for Ingenium but I've never been in the right part of town when a villain has hit." Tensei looks bashful.

"You could have just called me if you wanted to talk." You grimace and suddenly regret all those wasted hours outside. 

"Well, now that I know I will definitely talk to you more often." He brightens and grins.

"Great, would you like to go to dinner on Tuesday?"

"I'm so sorry I can't do Tuesday." Tensei deflates and you feel incredibly guilty.

"But! I can do Friday night?" Up he goes.

"That's perfect, yes, thank you. I'll- I'll pick you up at 8?" You nod and say your goodbyes, you wave through the glass to Tenya and he waves back. You take your leave, very excited for Friday to come along.
