Katelyn's POV

We all ran to the hospital to see Jeffory. I opened the doors and yelled to the lady at the front desk "Is Jeffory ok?! Is he going to be alright?!" she was startled and said "Lady. Calm down please! He's undergoing surgery right now so you'll have to wait for the doctors to be done." I sighed and went to sit down next to Nicole and Aphmau. Abby was in Nicole's lap and she was shaking pretty bad. Nicole gave me Abby and I set her in my lap and she looked at me with scared eyes and asked "Is Daddy going to be ok?" "Honestly, I don't know Abby." I replied to her. She just buried her face into my chest and cried silently and whispered "It's my fault..." I heard her and whispered into her ear "Abby. It's not your fault. Your father was just doing what every loving father does, protect their children." she cried even more and I started to cry a little also. Jeffory...please Irene! Let him live! I don't want Abby to be parentless...and I don't want to lose my friend! I thought. After an hour later, a doctor walked up and said "Are you friends of Jeffory Goldenheart?" we all replied yes. "Well he's going to live but his leg is pretty messed up. The shark shattered his lower part of his leg. He'll be on a wheelchair for a few weeks and then he'll have crutches." Oh thank Irene! But his leg... I thought. We thanked the doctor and most of my friends left to go home. Me, Abby, and Nicole stayed. Abby fell asleep in my lap and Nicole had her head on my shoulder sleeping so I joined them
