MANGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(to read)
Fullmetal Alchemist, Hiromi Arakawa
Genres:action, adventure, sci-if (well according to wiki anyway:P)
So it took me about a day to read the entire manga (it is that bad) and I LOVED it, (it is like my favourite manga of all time)
So it is about a crippled midget (Edward screaming in the distance) and a suit of armour trying to get their bodies back through a rock made of genocide.
Ok ok it is about these two brothers who are prodigies at this thing called alchemy, where you can make anything, but it has to made out of something of equal value, got that, no? Great! So they try and revive their dead mother, which is a taboo, and if you don't know what a taboo is it's a really really really bad thing to do, and if don't know what a really really really bad thing to do is then bad luck block head. Anyway back on topic. The midget, Edward looses his left leg and his brother, aka giant suit of armour aka Alphose, looses his entire body. Then Ed sacrifices his right arm to revive (sorta) his brother and put his soul into a suit of armour. Then Edward decides to get automail (prosthetic limbs) and becomes a state alchemist, and the stories is during their adventure to get their bodies back.
(By the way, the anime remake of it has an amazing soundtrack, my personal favourite alongside Tokyo ghoul and Attack On Titan)
