Hey guys. So I know I haven't updated in a while but I do have motto's and jokes I'll post later along with the stories. Today I am here to talk about some of my role models for diabetes growing up.

When I was small I used to LOVE the Jonas brothers, their music was amazing and to me they were cute. Anyways it made me love the band even more when Nick Jonas was diagnosed with Type 1.

Don't get me wrong. This was about the same time as my cousin, who was 12 at the time, was diagnosed. I felt terrible for her as well for him. It's never something to celebrate, people being diagnosed. However, it is very nice when you can relate to someone through something like this. I've already befriended so many people because of Type 1.

Even though I'd had Type 1 before Nick Jonas did I still thought it was pretty cool that even famous people could get it, you gotta know I was pretty small at this point and didn't know any other Type 1s.

So, yes, my "role model" for Type 1 Diabetes growing up was Nick Jonas.

Who was your role model? How have they inspired you? Would anyone mind if I mixed this book and it was full of mottos and jokes for diabetes as well as these stories?
