Chapter Three
A/N: Hello! This chapter will be somewhat short/a filler chapter but I'm posting it because I really needed to update this book with anything I could! Enjoy!

-MONDAY MORNING-
Today marked one month since Stevie gave Mick her ultimatum. She was slightly nervous since hadn't heard a word from anyone in the band. Christine never really talked to her much outside of the band, but that could've been because the older female was over in England. John was usually a quiet one, so she expected him to not talk to her that much. However, there was one other person remaining, that was Mick. He would let her know everything going down. In all honesty, Stevie was kind of nervous with the fact that Mick had been silent, especially after what happened during the brief meeting with him and the matters they discussed during it. She began to wonder if he had taken the other route, getting rid of her instead of Lindsey. However, she believed that he didn't have the guts to fire her, or at least that's what she was hoping
However, before she could think about the thought any longer, her door was knocked on.
"Come in!" The blonde female shouted, looking at the door.
"Ms. Nicks, Mick's on the phone." Karen spoke after opening the door, holding out the cell phone for Stevie to take.
Stevie nodded and took the phone, beginning to talk into it after Karen left. She didn't really say anything into the phone as she listened to Mick yammer on about stuff regarding his books, restaurant and drums. Or at least that was until something he had said peaked her interest.
"Woah, hang on Mick. Can you say that again please?" Stevie asked, grabbing a pad and pen from her desk drawer, then proceeding to jot down what Mick had repeated.
"Okay, yeah. See you then." Stevie replied, hanging up the phone after fumbling with it for a few moments.
She looked down at the note she had just written.
"He wants to meet with the band on Friday of this week... It's too early to start rehearsing, isn't it?" Stevie asked herself out loud.
After thinking for a bit, her eyes widened with realization.
"Did he actually do it?" She thought to herself.

-FRIDAY MORNING-
It was Friday morning and Stevie was getting ready. She braced herself for the worst possible outcome of this meeting.
"Theres no way he actually did it... Right?" She asked herself, hopping into the back seat of the car, letting her driver drive.

After arriving at the rehearsal hall, Stevie was greeted by Mick. Christine and John were also there, both of them having less than cheerful expressions on their face, it's like they already knew something that Stevie didn't.
Mick called for their attention by clearing his throat, "As you may or may not know, Lindsey is no longer with our band." Mick began to speak, "We have a tour scheduled already and we need a replacement." As he said that, he made a subtle glance toward Stevie, trying to gage her reaction to the news, while also as if telling her 'you got your wish, now what?'
Christine happened to have shot a glance towards Stevie, which that glance didn't go unnoticed by the female.
Mick continued to speak about some of the preparations needed for this tour, such as auditioning new guitar player(s)/singer(s) to fill Lindsey's role.
After Mick finished speaking, Stevie took a deep breath, trying to take it all in. It was as if someone had lifted a giant weight that was holding her down, but that feeling didn't last long. That feeling soon turned into knots forming in her stomach. It was at this point that she had finally realized what she had done.
....
A/N: I'm terribly sorry to keep you all waiting for this part! I kind of forgot about this book and then I got a bit of writer's block. As of now, I have a general idea for what I want to do with this book. Im also sorry for having such a short chapter, the next one will most certainly be longer! Until next time my fellow Macians, take care and don't stop thinking about tomorrow :)
