Why not get creeped out by the N E W K I D S ?
Everything was going horribly already. For one thing, all the customers he had in the store beforehand, gone. And, here's the kicker, a seemingly new group that Marion had for sure had not seen before had walked in.
The leader was no more then a ten year old little girl, though she was tall for her age. Her red hair was put up in neat twintails. Her green eyes looked sparkly, innocent even. She was dressed in a dark red, frilly dress with pink bows and white accents, truly a prim and proper raised child.
There was then two people behind the girl, most likely twins. They both had incredibly pale skin and white hair. The male of the two had blue eyes, the female of the two had light yellow eyes. The female also wore a white skirt with a frilly looking pink top with knee high socks and plain white shoes. The male wore rather light pink jeans and a white shirt, with elbow length gloves and with a small puppet on his hand, looking suspiciously like Bunny.
The one behind them was obviously a female, one with her eyes closed at that. Her obviously dyed purple hair was tied up into a clean bun, a small tiara resting on her head. She was wearing a dark purple ballerina outfit as well, maybe from coming back from ballet or something, and matching shoes.
Then there was the last one. Oh this one gave him the creeps. They were quietly signing to the ones already in the restaurant, and like two people understood. They had incredibly pale skin and their hair was also incredibly short, seemingly just shaved. Their clothes, grey and rather big looking, hid most of their body, leaving gender a big up for debate. For now, let's say more ambiguous then Bunny.
But anyways, the group let off an aura. It was one that brought unease to anyone near, that's at least how most people were seemingly feeling around them. Uneasiness. Incomprehensible uneasiness.
Everyone stared as they walked to the counter, the one with the pigtails reaching up and ringing the small bell on it. Marion visibly flinched, quickly standing upwards and running to the counter, looking at all of them. Most of them were shorter than him, only two overcame his height at least visibly. The ballerina and the creepy one.
"Excuse me, sir?" The child in the front spoke. "Ballora promised that we'd go here today after she practiced ballet. Can you say what you have please? It's hard to read and Ennard can't really speak, only sign, Ballora is blind, and the twins aren't really any help." She spoke, tilting her head. Marion stared at her for a moment, face contorting into that of fear before he spoke, quietly, shakily. He described what they had in vague detail.
"Ah! Wait, do you have any like, pastry things?" The child spoke up again, clapping her hands. Marion nodded rather meekly, making her clap her hands. "Great! Get us all a mystery pastry or something, I'll let the rest say what they want but I know know know what I want, I'm gonna go over there now, goodbye!" She skipped over to the empty booth, sliding into the seat and clapping her hands happily.
The raven glanced at the others. The creepy one then signed, 'I am sorry about her, I will have whatever she is having,' They then pointed to the ballerina, 'Good day.' They walked over to the one already at the table, sitting down without a word, quite obviously. The twins glanced up at Marion. "Give us sandwiches with the pastries or something, we don't want them as much as Baby seems to." They both walked in sync, only difference being the male played with his blue puppet happily whilst walking. The only one left was Ballerina.
She gently walked over to the counter, soon getting there and gently placing her hands against the table. "I am sorry for all of them, I hope they cause you no trouble. I must tell you our names though, would make everything easier. I am Ballora, the child goes by Baby, the one that is about my height is Ennard, and then you can call the others the twins. Once again, I hope we cause no harm. If you do not mind, may I please have maybe, tea with whatever pastry you ultimately give us?" She tilted her head, and Marion spoke a quiet yes. "Wonderful! Let me go ahead and pay..." And then she payed and went to find her way back to where the other group was, making Marion exhale with relief.
"Cupcake, five pastries of whatever you want, two sandwiches and two teas of any kind. And, can you call Jeremy, I really don't have time to deal with this sudden new group." Spoke Marion, walking into the back and then sitting in the corner, where he previously was. "Or at least get Mike in here. Or both, both would be... Nice." And then, Marion went on and passed out.
