After Sonya's departure, Cassie and the others are trying to process what they just saw.

Cassie Cage: Why? Why did she side with Raiden?

Fujin: Raiden got to her, got inside her head.

Johnny Cage: No, this is all too strange, Raiden would never do things like this!

Fujin: He is not the man we once knew, I don't know if he will ever be again.

Cassie Cage: We need to stop him, and then maybe, just maybe, we can save him.

Fujin: I hope there is a way to save him, because if there is not, we may have to kill him.

Cassie Cage: I sure hope it does not come to that, if we are going up against Raiden, then we need a team.

Takeda: But, who would want to team up with us?

Erron Black: Anybody who got the message of Raiden's new rebellion, is most likely to follow him.

Cassie then gets a warning notice on her wrist communicator.

Cassie Cage: Guys, there's trouble brewing, a warning signal just went off

Johnny Cage: Where?

Cassie Cage: Australia...

The others have a confused look on their faces.

Jacqui Briggs: What's in Australia?

Kung Jin: Australia is where the remaining Shokan are taking refuge, they wanted to live in peace.

Fujin: Is Raiden there?

Cassie Cage: Worse, Goro and Kintaro are there.

Jax: Raiden must have sent them to recruit Sheeva.

Takeda: Sheeva?

Kung Jin: A female Shokan, she became the new ruler, after Shao Khan's demise.

Cassie Cage: We need to get there!

Jax: I'm gonna send you guys there now, but be careful, Sheeva may not go lightly.

Jacqui Briggs: We will dad.

Cassie, Jacqui and Takeda then go through the Portal, and they arrive in the country of Australia. They walk around, searching for the stronghold of Sheeva.

Takeda: Bright sunshine, warm temperatures, exotic animals, I could live here.

Cassie Cage: Yeah, well if we don't stop Raiden, all of this, won't be so lush.

Jacqui Briggs: I found Sheeva, she's in a Church, thirty clicks from here.

Cassie Cage: Well, we can't waste time, let's go!

Cassie and the others then rush towards the Church where Sheeva is held, not knowing that Goro and Kintaro are already there.

In the church, Sheeva sits on a throne, watching Kintaro and Goro kill their former brothers.

Goro: Ah, here sits the great Sheeva, while we kill your brethren, you sit idly by and do nothing.

Sheeva: I know why you are here traitors, you are here to have me join you and Raiden.

Kintaro: You would be wise to accept, because if you don't, you will die along with the rest.

Sheeva: Sorry, but I refuse.

Goro: If you join us, we will make you General of Raiden's army.

Sheeva: Damn, I might just regret this... Your offer is tempting, but I will not join an alliance with two traitors!

Goro: So be it, you death will be quick!

Goro picks up a chair, and he throws it Sheeva, who kicks it in half. Goro then trades attacks with Sheeva. Sheeva then sweep kicks Goro, and she throws him out of a window. Kintaro then charges at Sheeva, sending her through a wall.

Kintaro: I will eat your heart!

Kintaro then jumps in the air, and he tries to crush Sheeva, but Sheeva rolls out of the way, and she pins Kintaro to the wall. Sheeva then repeatedly punches Kintaro, until Goro blasts her in the back, with a fireball.

Goro: I have to say, I am impressed Sheeva. But you are no match for our combined might.

Sheeva: Maybe, but I am not dead yet bastard, let's go!

Goro and Kintaro then double team Sheeva, who tries her best to fend them off alone. Her efforts, however, were in vain, as Goro holds Sheeva in place, while Kintaro violently punches her repeatedly in the gut, ending it with a uppercut to the jaw. Goro then throws Sheeva into a wall, into the great hall.

Goro: You should have joined us Sheeva!

Goro then gets hit with a Force ball by Cassie, who comes in through the top window. Takeda then Tele-Pushes Kintaro, halfway across the great hall, and into a cinderblock.

Jacqui Briggs : Cassie, get Sheeva out of here, me and Takeda got these ugly bastards!

Cassie Cage: Okay, meet me back at Base!

Takeda: We will, now go!

Cassie then takes Sheeva and she escapes back to the Portal. Jacqui and Takeda then begin to fight Goro and Kintaro.

Jacqui's robotic enhancements put her on an equal playing field with Goro. As Goro tries to attack her, Jacqui blocks and counters Goro. She then gives Goro multiple punches to the ribs, before ending it with a roundhouse kick to his Jaw. With Goro staggered, Jacqui manages to hit Goro with a German Suplex, knocking him unconscious.

Meanwhile, Takeda is getting smacked around by Kintaro, like a rag doll. Takeda then uses his whips to trap Kintaro's arms. He then uses his telekinesis, to trap Kintaro's legs, in the floor of the Great Hall. Takeda then unleashes a flurry of strikes on a trapped Kintaro.

Takeda: Not so big now are you?

Takeda then lifts up a Cinderblock, with his telekinetic powers, and he smashes it over Kintaro's head, knocking him unconscious. Takeda and Jacqui then escape to the portal, where they meet up with Cassie back at the SpecialForces base.
