8. Feeling Something

*HELLO! WELCOME TO CHAPTER EIGHT OF THIS FROZEN AU! Sorry it's taken me so long to update! Enjoy!*

// Dean's POV

Dean, Castiel, and Sven walked around a snowy trail.

The sun was rising. They were high enough where Dean could see his kingdom.

"Arendelle. . ." He sighed, seeing it covered in snow.

"It's completely frozen. . ." Castiel finished, also looking at the kingdom.

Dean looked at Cas nervously, seeing as he was standing somewhat close to him and cleared his throat.

"Don't worry. Sam will thaw it all. Everything will be fine."

"Will he?" Castiel asked, obviously skeptical of Dean's theory

"Y-yeah. . . now come on. This way to the North Mountain?" Dean asked, pointing behind him.

Castiel chuckled, "You're adorable. It's more this way." He said and took Dean's hand, pointing it up.

Dean gulped and Castiel began walking still holding Dean's hand. Dean blushed and pulled away.

"S-sorry." Cas smiled and walked faster.

Dean smiled and followed him.

Sven just sort of watched them closely-- like he was expecting something to happen.

They walked through the edge of a forest before making it inside. There were frozen waterfalls and the trees had frozen water droplets on them. It was beautiful-- like Cas-- wait. No. Yes. Well he wasn't denying that Cas was gorgeous.

Sven ran around the piles of snow and got his anters stuck in the braches of the trees.

"I never knew. . .winter could be so. . .beautiful." Dean smiled. LIKE CAS! Shut up.

"Yeah! It really is beautiful, isn't it?" Someone asked. Dean looked to see if it was Cas.

Nope.

They bothed turned to look at Sven but he looked just as confused.

Nope.

"But it's so white." The voice continued. Castiel walked depper through the forest, looking for the source of the voice. " You know, how about a little color?"

Dean walked faster, hoping it would be someone that could help them.

"I'm thinking, maybe some crimson, chartreuse. Oh! How about yellow?! No not yellow. Yellow and Snow? Ugh, no go. Am I right?"

The voice was behind them.

Dean and Castiel slowly turned around to see a little snowman walking up to them, smiling widely.

Dean screamed at the top of his lunges and kicked the head off of it. It landed in Cas' arms.

"Hi!" It smiled.

"You're creepy." Castiel stated before tossing it back at Dean.

"What are you doing?! I don't want it!"

"Back at you!"

"Please don't drop me!"

"Come on! It's just a head!" Cas smiled and tossed it back at Dean.

"No!" He exclaimed and saw the body walking towards him. "Shit! Shit, The body!" He screamed and threw the head at it.

The snowman fell back and stayed still for a while before standing up, it's head upside down.

By that point, Dean had run to Castiel, who had his arms wrapped around him protectively.

"Wait. What am I looking at right now? Why are you hanging off the earth like bats?"

Dean slowly moved away from Cas and walked to the snowman.

"Okay, wait a second." He said before flipping it's head over.

"Oh. Thank you." It smiled and waved its stick arms around.

"You're welcome." Dean smiled.

"Now I'm perfect!"

Dean chuckled and reached towards the carrot bag Cas had managed to drop. He took a carrot and tried to put it into his face gently but the snowman moved to it smashed into his face, poking out from the back of his head.

"HOLY! HEAD RUSH!" The snowman cried.

"Shit! Sorry." Dean said.

The snowman went cross-eyed and looked at the tiny nose.

"Oh my god! I love it! It's so small! It's like an idy bidy unicorn-- "

Dean pushed the other side forward and the carrot was placed normally on his face.

"Whoa. I love it even more now!"

The snowman looked at the two of them and smiled.

"Okay. Let's start this over. Hi everyone. I'm Olaf! And I like warm hugs!" He gushed.

Dean's eyes widened.

"Olaf?"

"Yea...and you are?"

Dean stayed quiet for a while before coming back to realization.

"Oh um-- I'm Dean." He smiled.

The snowman nodded and stood closer to him so he could whisper.

"Okay-- and who's the funny looking donkey over there?"

"That's Sven."

"Mmhmm, and who's the reindeer?" He asked.

Castiel glared at him and looked away.

"Sven..." Dean hesitated.

"They're-- names-- well okay! Makes things easier for me." Olaf smiled.

Sven was apparently hungry because he tried eating Olaf's nose.

"Aw he's trying to kiss my nose! I like you too!" Olaf giggled.

"Olaf...did Sam build you?" Dean asked.

Olaf turned around and nodded.

"Yea. Why?"

"Do you know where he is?"

"Yea why?"

Castiel, being the curious thing he is, decided to take one of Olaf's arms off and examine it.

"Could you take us to him?"

"How does this work?" Castiel asked and then Olaf's arm slapped him.

"Stop it Sven! I'm trying to focus! Sheesh." Olaf groaned and took back his arm. "Yea why?"

"We need Sam to bring back summer." Dean explained.

"Oh! I don't know why but I've always loved the idea of summer and all things hot!" Olaf sighed. ((Hot? Check out the cast of Supernatural, Doctor Who, and Sherlock))

"Really? I'm guessing you have no experience with summer huh?" Cas asked.

"Nope! But sometimes I close my eyes and like to imagine what'd it be like."

Then he randomly began singing about what would happen.

He wanted to see bees and dandelions and a bunch of different things.

"I'm gonna tell him." Castiel smirked.

Dean punched his arm and glared at him.

"Don't you dare!"

Castiel chuckled and winked at him.

"Don't worry, Princy, I wont."

Dean blushed and looked away.

"This way to Sam!" Olaf smiled and skipped away.

Dean smiled widely and followed him, Sven with him.

"Somebody has to tell him..." Castiel wondered but followed anyway.

+++++

"Cloak? Does anyone need a cloak?" Bela asked, walking around, passing things out to the people.

"Arendelle is indebted to you, your highness." A woman smiled and took a cloak.

"The palace is open! There is soup and hot glogg in the great hall!" Bela announced.

"Here, pass these out," Bela smiled at one of the guards.

"Princess Bela, are we just supposed to stand here and freeze while you give away all of Arendelle's tradable goods?!" The Duchess complained.

"Prince Dean gave his orders and-- "

"And that's another thing! Has it dawned to you that this-- this Prince, might be conspiring with a wicked sorcerer to destroy us all?!"

"Do not question my Prince! He gave me his orders and left me in charge and I will not hesitate to protect Arendelle from treason!" She said, her voice raising.

"Treason?!" The Duchess gasped.

Then Dean's horse ran into the courtyard, panicking-- if horses can do that. I'm guessing they can.

"Whoa! Whoa there boy." Bela managed to calm him down.

"That's the Prince's horse!"

"Where is he?"

"What happened to the Prince?!"

The citizens were all panicking and so was Bela-- mostly, anyway.

"Dean is in trouble. I need volunteers to go with me to find him!" Bela called out to the crowd.

"I volunteer two of my men!" The Duchess called.

"Be prepared for anything...and if you see the King, you are to put an end to this dreadful winter." She whispered to the men who nodded.

+++++

"So how exactly do you plan to stop this winter?" Castiel asked, kicking around some snow and avoiding giant spiky ice things.

"Oh, I'm going to talk to my brother." Dean stated.

"That's it?! My ice business is riding on you talking to your brother?!" Castiel asked in frustration.

"Yep."

"And you're not at all afraid of him?"

"Why would I be?"

"Yea..." Olaf sighed. "I bet he's the nicest, gentlest, warmest person ever."

And then he walked straight into one of the ice spikes.

"Oh look at that, I've been impaled." He said, giggling.

They kept walking and eventually were stuck at a giant rock wall thing.

((I'm so uneducated *sighs*))

"What now?" Dean asked.

"It's too steep. And I've only got one rope-- and you don't know how to climb mountains." Castiel sighed and looked around for the rope he had.

Olaf just kinda wandered off.

"Says who?" Dean scoffed and began to climb the mountain.

Castiel turned around and sighed.

"What are you doing?" He asked, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"I'm going...to see-- my brother!" Dean said, still climbing.

"You're going to kill yourself!" Cas called. But Dean just ignored him.

"I wouldn't out my foot there." Cas sighed so Dean stepped somewhere else. "Or there."

"Shut your pie-hole, you'rs distracting me." Dean groaned.

"How do you even know Sam wants to see you?"

"I'm just gonna block you out cause I gotta concentrate here..." Dean breathed.

"You know, most people who disappear into the mountains want to be alone." Cas said.

"No one wants to be alone! Except maybe you."

"I'm not alone! I have friends, remember?"

"You mean the love experts?"

"Yes the love experts!"

"Please tell me I'm almost there!" Dean cried. "Does the air seem to be a bit thin up here?"

In reality, he was a few feet above ground, his legs spread apart completely wrong-- he was basically just hugging the mountain.

"Hold on..." Cas sighed and walked closer, ready to pull him off.

"Hey Sven!" Olaf called, causing them both to turn. "Not sure if this'll help but I just found a staircase that leads where you're headed."

"Oh thank goodness!" Dean sighed. "Catch!"

And then he threw himself off the mountain and landed in Castiel's arms, bridal style. ((Cue the fluff feels))

"Thanks! That was like a crazy trust exercise!" Dean laughed and pet Cas' chest.

Castiel just sort of stared at him.

Dean jumped off and followed Olaf and Sven.

Castiel felt something inside him. Something weird and tingly.

Watching Dean skip around in the snow was just building something inside him.

"No Castiel...no." He said to himself and followed the rest of the group.
