4. Coronation Day (Part 1)

//Dean's POV

\\THREE YEARS LATER//

Knock

Knock

Knock

Dean ignored it and tried to doze off again.

"Prince Dean...Prince Dean?" Someone called on the other side of the door.

Dean groaned and sat up, rubbing his eyes.

"Huh...yea?" He asked, eyes half open.

"Sorry to awake you- "

"No nonono. You didn't...I've been up for hours..." Dean yawned before leaning on his hand and dozing back to sleep.

There was a knock at the door again and Dean jolted awake.

"Who is it?"

"Still me sir. The gates will open soon, time to get ready!"

Dean stretched, his eyes still closed.

"Of course...ready for what?"

"Your brother's Coronation, sir."

"Hmm, my brother's Cornoration..." he slowly opened his eyes and saw a suit ready for him to dress in.

Dean gasped and he was suddenly fully awake.

"It's Coronation Day!" He gasped and quickly got dressed.

He ran out the door and spun a few of the palace staff around.

"It's Coronation Day!"

He looked around at all the staff who were currently open doors windows and carrying stacks of chairs, plates, and many other things.

Dean took a deep breath and began to sing.

"The window is open. So's that door! I didn't know they did that anymore!

"Who knew we owned eight thousand salad plates?

"For years I've roamed this empty halls, why have a ball room with no balls? Finally they're opening up the gates!" He sang as he slid down the railing of the stairs and going to shake the metal hand of a knights armor.

"There'll be actually real life people. It'll be totally strange.

"But wow, am I so ready for this day!" He climbed out a window and swung back and forth on some swing thing, looking at the arriving ships.

"Cause for the first time in forever, there'll be music, there'll be light. For the first time in forever! I'll be dancing through the night!"

Dean wandered into a field and messed with a group of ducklings.

"Don't know if I'm elated or gassy, but I'm somewhere in that zone!

"But for the first time in forever, I won't be alone." He sang as he picked up the ducklings.

"I can't wait to meet everyone. What if I meet, the one?" He asked and a duckling quaked.

Dean ran back into the palace and wandered into the ballroom.

"Tonight imagine me suit and all, fetching the drapes against the wall, a picture of sophisticated grace!

"I suddenly see her standing there, a beautiful stranger tall and fair, I wanna stuff some chocolate in my face!" He said wandered over to a statue of a woman's head.

"But then we laugh and talk all evening, which is totally bizarre! Nothing like the life I've lived so far!" He twirled around with the statue until it escaped his grasp and landed in a cake. Not wanting to get caught, he ran into the room full of paintings.

"For the first time in forever...there'll be magic, there'll be fun.

"For the first time in forever, I could be noticed by someone.

"And I know it's totally crazy, to dream I'd find romance!

"But for the first time in forever...at least I've got a chance."

Meanwhile, Sam was also preparing for the big day...but he wasn't as excited.

He walked over to the window and sighed, everyone in town running around the streets, putting up decorations for him.

Maybe the reason he was so sad wasn't just because of his powers. Well yea, he hadn't seen Dean in forever and he had to ignore him! Dean hadn't even met Cas yet.

But...he guessed it was because after all these years being stuck in this Disney movie, Sam hadn't seen or heard from Gabriel.

The last thing he told him was that all this time hadn't really gone by. Gabriel had sped time forward a bit so it wouldn't take years. But for Sam it felt like an eternity either way.

"Don't let them in... Don't let them see... be the good boy you always had to be..." He sang as he walked over to a painting of his father.

He grabbed the items he needed and mimicked his fathers actions.

"Conceal, don't feel. Put on a show. Make on wrong move and everyone will know..." he sang as the objects began freezing over. He quickly set them down and put on his gloves.

Dean ran down the stairs, towards the gates.

But it's only for today

It's only for today

It's agony to wait

It's agony to wait

Sam stepped out of his room.

"Tell the guards to open up...the gates!"

"The gates!" Dean sang as the gates opened.

"For the first time in forever..."

"Don't let them in don't let them see..."

"I'm getting what I'm inkling of..."

"Be the good boy you always had to be..."

"A chance to change my lonely world..."

"Conceal...don't feel..."

"A chance to find true love..."

"Conceal don't feel don't let them know..."

"And I know it all ends tomorrow, so it has to be today!" Dean sang as he ran through town, spinning and greeting almost everyone.

"For the first time in forever, nothing's in my way-- " and then a horse had to bump into him. Dean fell onto a row boat, causing it to slide off the deck, almost falling into the water but the horse stopped it before he fell.

"Hey!" Dean yelled as he moved stuff out of his face to get a good view of whoever just bumped into him.

A beautiful woman on a brown horse stared down at him with concern.

"Hey..." Dean said in shock.

"I am so sorry! Are you hurt?" She asked as she calmed down her horse.

"Y-yea I'm fine." Dean sighed as he stared into her eyes. She had light brown hair and brown eyes. She wore a white dress, with blue and purple patterns.

"Are you sure?" She asked stepping off her horse.

"Y-yea I- I just wasn't looking where I was going but I'm great...actually...." Dean explained awkwardly.

"Thank goodness." She smiled, extending her hand so she could help him up.

Once he was up, they kinda just stared at each other for a while.

"Oh uh-- Princess Bela of the Southern Isles." She said as she curtsied.

"Prince Dean of Arendelle." He replied, bowing slightly.

"Prince?" She suddenly asked and quickly bowed completely. "Your Highness!" And then the horse also had to bow, causing the boat to tip over, causing Bela to fall onto Dean as he also fell back.

Bela's arm was wrapped tightly around Dean.

"Oh-- uh hi." Dean stated.

The horse looked up and stepped on the boat again, causing them to fall backwards so Dean was on top of Bela.

"Whoa! Oh boy..." Bela said as she fell back. Dean was blushing madly by then.

"This is awkward. Not, you're awkward but just cause we're, I'm awkward, you're gorgeous-- wait what?" Dean stuttered out as he helped her up.

The stood up and brushed they're clothes off, awkwardly laughing before she cleared her throat.

"I'd like to formally apologize for hitting the prince of Arendelle with my horse...and for every moment after."

"No! Nono! It's fine! I'm not that prince. I mean if you'd had hit my brother Sam it would've been eesh, cause you know-- " he said, stepping off of the boat and walking up to the horse, scratching it's chin. "Hello." He told it before completely stepping off.

"But lucky for you it's-- it's just me." He finished.

"Just you?" Bela asked, examining him.

Dean smiled and nodded, just staring at her.

Bells began to ring by the castle, causing Dean to snap out of it.

"The bells. The Coronation! I better go-- I have to go-- I better go!" He said walking away.

"Bye!" He called and ran off.

Bela waved in return and fell into the water when her horse also waved.

// Sam's POV

Sam walked up the isle if the church, ready to be announced King of Arendelle.

Dean was there waiting for him.

He walked all the way up to where the father was standing with a pillow in his hands than held the sphere and staff. Dean waved to someone but Sam didn't really notice who.

Hands shaking, he slowly reached out before the father cleared his throat, causing Sam to look up.

"Your Majesty. The gloves." He whispered.

Sam sighed and slowly took off the gloves, his hands shaking even more.

The room was silent and expectant.

Sam took the items in his hand and turned to face his audience.

The father began to speak, and everyone stood up, but Sam wasn't listening. He was too busy trying to hold it all in.

He felt his hands go cold. He slowly looked down and saw the items freezing.

"-- Sam, King of Arendelle." Was all he heard and he quickly set the items back on the pillow and pulled the gloves back on.

Finally calming down, he smiled at everyone as they clapped and cheered.
