Third person POV (I'm really liking this POV rn for some reason!)

Time skip to the school.

Ash looked up at the school sign that read Princeton High School her eyes widened. This was the school for very smart kids, the best high school in NYC! And she was here! She was going here?! She felt a lump caught up in her throat and tried to swallow it back down, her stomach churned and she felt like she was going to cry. (This is what happens to me every time I go back to school after the Summer.)

"P-Princeton?!" She stuttered out. Swallowing the lump in her throat.

Peggy was looking up surprised, happy and excited all at the same time. She didn't seem to notice the nervousness radiating off of Ash.

"Yep!" Alex replied, not noticing either.

"This is where I went to school!" Peggy exclaimed.

Thomas was the only one who seemed to notice Ash feeling extremely nervous, he put a hand on her shoulder in reassurance and she nearly jumped 10 feet in the air at the action. She looked up at Thomas and Thomas hid his worried look it a reassuring smile. Ash nodded and smiled back.

Ash had never been to high school and starting out with a school the size of.. well, nothing! That's how big it was! It was the biggest building she'd ever seen.

"Well, what are we waiting for?! Let's go in!" Alex exclaimed. Dragging Ash inside. Ash stumbled after him, luckily it was a weekend day and nobody was inside the school except for a few teachers.

"Hello, you must be Aasha Hamilton." The principal greeted.

Ash flinched a bit at the use of her full first name and then looked confused on why the principal said Hamilton. Ash looked at Alex, Alex gave her a look that said everything she needed to know 'I may have told them that your last name was Hamilton' (This is fanfiction, I know it doesn't work like this but again, fanfiction. Shut up..)

Ash nodded, looking back to the principal.

"U-um, would you mind if I was called Ash in-instead..?" Ash asked hesitantly.

"Of course not, Ash!" The principal said politely. "Name is Mrs. Paul, would you like to go for the interview now?" Mrs. Paul asked.

Ash nodded hesitantly.

"Would you like to bring one of your parents?" Mrs. Paul asked.

Ash nodded again. Then pointed at Alex. He was the one who got her here in the first place and she felt most comfortable with him. Having known him for longer.

Alex walked up to her and smiled at the principal.

"Are you guys all together?" Asked the principal.

"Um, wh-what, no!" Alex stuttered out.

"Oh, well, just know that we except all members of the LGBTQ+ community here!" Mrs. Paul said.

"Since when?!" Peggy asked.

"Since Mr. Thorne wasn't principal anymore." Mrs. Paul responded.

"Wow, I already like that change a lot!" Peggy said.

Mrs. Paul smiled, then motioned for Alex and Ash to follow her to the principals room.

They talked about stuff, stuff that the author doesn't feel like writing because author is lazy af. At the end of the interview, Mrs. Paul gave Ash a paper that had all the teachers and people that worked there and what they did on it. There was no Mrs or Mr because no assuming genders kids!

Mrs. Paul: Principal    (she made it so she can have her female pronouns so yea)

They thanked her on their way out and met up with Thomas and Peggy again. Ash started on Monday and it was only Saturday. The rest if the day it was them all shopping for her, getting school supplies, stuff like that. As they were about to wrap up, Peggy got a text.

"OMG GUYS I TOTALLY FORGOT ITS ELIZA'S BIRTHDAY TOMORROW!" Peggy exclaimed loudly, causing the few people in the store to give her a weird look.

Alex and Ash blushed in embarrassment of everyone giving them weird glances.

"Shit- oh fuck- shit- um, poop..?" Thomas stuttered when he realised that there was a- two- basically three smol children standing right in front of him.

"Oh please. I lived with parents that literalky sweater for a living basically and don't think I don't fucking swear yet. Shit, fuck, trickety-truck!" Ash said, putting her hands on her hips.

Alex gasped.

"MY INOCCENT CHILD! NO SWEARING!" Alex screeched, covering Ash's mouth.

Ash, reminded herself that she was fine and it wasn't her father or someone at school covering her mouth and just a playful Alex. Even so, she didn't like the all too familiar feeling and ripped Alex's hands away from her mouth and let out a playful huff.

"WE GOTTA GO BUY ELIZA PRESENTS GUYS! HURRY UP! C'MON!" Peggy yelled at them.

They got Eliza gifts and then headed back to the dorm. But not before buying a bunch of junk food as well. Peggy was going to stay the night at their dorm. Which we all knew what that meant. Disney.

"Disney night?" Alex asked.

"DISNEY NIGHT!" Peggy and Ash screeched, Thomas and Alex chuckled at them.

They jumped onto the couch. Alex trotted over.

"Hey, that's my spot!" He said to Peggy.

Peggy rolled her eyes. "Who are you? Sheldon Cooper? Go sit somewhere else!" Peggy said, shooing him away.

It was then Alex's turn to roll his eyes. Walking over to the other spot on the couch. Thomas walked back with all the junk in different bowls. Skittles, M&M's, Reeses Mini's, Popcorn, Smarties, ect. Only to find the last spot on the couch empty. Ash got up and offered the spot to Thomas.

"No, it's okay, I'll sit in the chair!" Thomas said.

"No, I can sit in the chair!" Ash said, politely.

"But I can too!"

"Well so can I." Ash said in a sassy yet stern voice. The voice made Thomas nod and wit down in the middle of Alex and Peggy.

Then Ash sat down in the chair as Alex gave Thomas a look that basically said "you just got told what to do by a 13 year old' and Thomas looked away blushing from embarrassment and growled.

"Okay, we each get to pick one movie to watch! I choose Brave!" Peggy said.

"Mulan!" Thomas said.

"Pochohontas!" Alex said.

"Coraline!" Ash said. ".. what? I like creepy stuff!"

After watching the first two, Thomas and Alex were already out, both nearly squashing Peggy to the point where she NEEDED to get off of that couch. When Peggy got up she looked back at them and saw Alex laying on Thomas and Thomas' arms wrapped around Alex as the both slept peacefully. Peggy gently threw a blanket on them then realised that she didn't know where she was going to sleep. She looked back at Ash and saw Ash "asleep" and walked over to her then realised that she wasn't.

"C'mon, you can stop faking now. I know you're awake." Peggy whispered not wanting to wake up the two lovebirds over there.

Ash opened her eyes with a sigh.

"What are you still doing up? It's pretty late." Peggy asked.

"Couldn't sleep." Ash replied simply with a shrug.

"Okay.." Peggy said. Then started walking away.

When she turned back she saw Ash hugging herself as if it was cold. Ash was always a very cold person, she was THAT cold friend that was cold even in Summer. Peggy was pretty tired at that point. She walked over to Ash and slipped onto the chair with her and snuggled her (in a loving motherly way). Then she soon fell asleep.

Ash felt a blush creep up on her cheeks. She didn't feel any romantic emotion towards Peggy, it was just the fact that SOMEONE was snuggling up against her. She wasn't held or snuggled or anything like that as a child. She was just kind of.. there. So, having someone snuggle her in a romantic way or motherly way, was enough to make her feel special, safe and calm.

Time skip to next day

Alex's POV

I was the first to wake up. Blushing when I found myself on top of Thomas Jefferson. I managed to get out of his grip and looked over to the chair. And couldn't believe what I saw. I saw Ash and Peggy cuddled up together, I mean, it was cold outside, but still! I quickly took out my phone and took a few pictures.

Totally sending that to the group chat..

I sent it to the group chat. I laughed. Peggy's gonna hate me but we all know she probably took a picture of Thomas and I.

Revenge is a dish best served cold.

Time skip a few hours

Third person POV

When everyone woke up, Thomas just got ready for Eliza's party, which Alex had already done. Peggy first checked her phone and then got really embarrassed and angry and chased Alex around the dorm until she got tired then sent the picture of Thomas and Alex sleeping, and then it was Alex's turn to chase Peggy. While all of this was happening, Ash had stolen Peggy's phone which Peggy had left on the coffee table unlocked and was now recording the whole thing, then sent it to the group chat. Then got up to make herself some coffee. Which made Alex stop chasing Peggy and instead running for the coffee.

So, basically just an average day.

They were now all at Eliza's part which took place at the mansion that her father owned.

At the party was Alex, Thomas, Angelica, Peggy, Maria, Eliza (obviously), Sally, John, Hercules, Lafayette, and James (Madison).

Ash didn't want to come because she didn't really know Eliza, like, at all. Or any of Alex's friends for that matter. Just Alex, Thomas and Peggy.

(Also, author feels like complete shit and a lazy fuck rn so they're just gonna do a summary of what happened.)

Eliza greeted them at the door, told them where to put the presents(it auto corrected into peasants), where the food was and all that jazz. Alex and the rest of his friends talked and got caught up, but Thomas and James were talking about other stuff.

(1800 words)

"Hey James, what's up..?" Thomas asked hesitantly as James pulled him away by his arm.

"Okay, so, Thomas, I'm really sorry and I know I basically literally just confessed to you not too long ago but I found out I like somebody else..!" James said quickly.

"Ohthankgod. Me too!" Thomas replied. "Who is it?" Thomas asked raising his eyebrows up and down.

"J-John.. John Laurens." James replied, blushing.

"In the words of Margarita Schuyler, I ship it!" Thomas exclaimed.

"SHIP WHO?!" Peggy screeched, causing everyone to come over.

"Nobody!" James yelled, trying to hide his blush.

"TELL MEEEEE! ER... UUUUSSSSSS!" Peggy yelled.

James violently shook his head.

"THATS IT! EVERYBODY, WE'RE PLAYING SPIN THE BOTTLE!" Peggy yelled.

"But Peggy, there's no alchohale here. Spin the bottle is a drunk person type game." Thomas pointed out.

"Well I don't care, let's play spin the bottle." She then pulled and empty beer bottle out of her pocket. That pocket is literally the Cat in The Hats hat!

(Just to make things a little more interesting, ima actually do this randomized and see what happens. They each get to spin once so ye)

Peggy: Sally

Peggy's eyes lit up a bit seeing as she got to kiss Sally. Sally blushed a lot. They both kissed and it turned a bit long and passionate until the rest of them told them to get a room then they broke apart.

Eliza: Alex

Eliza and Alex look at each other. They were like siblings to each other so it was definitely awkward. They gave each other a quick peck on the lips and emediatly wipped off their mouths.

Sally: Peggy

Sally stared shocked and surprised at the fact that she got Peggy. Her heart raced of the thought that she would get to kiss Peggy Schuyler, her crush, again! Again it was a bit long but they pulled apart themselves this time though neither of them wanted it to end.

Alex: Thomas

Alex's heart skipped a beat and he felt a blush creep up on his cheeks. Despite Alex giving his confession to Thomas, they never got together so they never kissed. Alex kind if sat there for a bit wondering of he should just go for it or try to get out of it. Before he could decide he felt Thomas' lips against his, Alex hesitantly kissed back, wrapping his arms around Thomas' neck as Thomas' hands were on his waist. Neither of them wanted the kiss to end but they knew they had to.

Thomas: James

Alex's heart stopped when he saw it land on James. Then he remembered James.. Thomas liked James. Not him. Thomas and James went in for a kiss and Alex knew he wouldn't be able to keep it together much longer.

"I'm going to the bathroom." He said. Then quickly walked away. He didn't go to the bathroom, he just sat out in the hall. He didn't even know where the bathroom was anyway.

James: Maria

James and Maria gave each other a quick peck. James was gay so he felt no emotion to the kiss and Maria loved Eliza so..

Maria: John

John was also gay so he would feel no emotion for the kiss and neither would Maria, her being bi but loving her cinnamon roll of a girlfriend.

John: Angelica

"Ewww" they both said and gave each other a peck then viciously wipped their mouths off.

Angelica: Eliza

Angelica and Eliza pecked each other's lips as if it were nothing. They were siblings after all, so they would kiss each other goodnight and stuff because they were close siblings like that.

They decided after that it was a wrap.

"Does anyone know where Alex went?" Thomas asked.

Everyone said no so Thomas did some exploring until he heard soft crying.

"Alex?" He asked.

Alex's head shot up and he began wiping his tears away.

Thomas' POV

"Alex, are you okay darlin'?!" I asked frantically. Racing over to him.

He nodded his head, then hesitantly shook his head and continued crying.

"What's wrong?" I asked, hugging him as he dug his head into his knees.

"It's okay, it's a stupid thing to be crying about and I don't even know why I'm still crying about it, I just can't stop, but it's weird because I had convinced and excepted to my myself that you would never love me the way I love you in a million years but it still hurts and it still makes me cry just thinking about it and-" I cut Alexander off with a kiss, putting my hands on his cheeks, he kissed back not too long after.

We pulled away and I rubbed a few of his tears away off his cheeks and taking a good look at him. No, he wasn't the most beautiful crier, but honestly who was? This isn't some animated sad ass Disney shit where they cry perfectly. Nobody cries beautifully.

"Alex, I do love you. I never said it before but I do. And I'm sorry. I'm sorry for all this shit that has happened to us but I promise that I love you! I would risk my life for you..." I said to him, a few tears now pickling my vision. 

He smiled and kissed me again.

"So, what does this make us..?" He asked.

"Alexander Hamilton, will you be my boyfriend?" I asked. Though I kind of knew the answer.

"Hmm? Let me think about that... yes!" He exclaimed.

I laughed.

"We should get back to the others, they were worried about you." Thomas said.

Alex nodded, he got up and I got up with him

Third person POV

Thomas and Alex came back as everyone was already gathered around ready for Eliza to open her gifts. They all looked at Thomas and Alex and the first thing they noticed were that they were holding hands. They all mirked at the two and the two blushed, reluctantly releasing their hands from each other's grip.

Eliza opened her presents and said her 'thank you's to everyone. Then it was time to go.

Laf and Herc went back to their dorms. Peggy and Sally. Angelica. Eliza and Maria. James and John. And Alex and Thomas.

Little did Alex and Thomas know, they would come home to find a surprise...

Annnndddd another cliff hanger.
So, the deal with Eliza's birthday was because my friend told me that it was Eliza's birthday yesterday but they got it confused because it was actually one of Eliza's kid's birthdays but I was already halfway through the chapter and was like fuck it. So yeah, here ya go!

Edit: my friend was confuzzling me so it was Eliza's birthday yesterday (aka August 9th)
