27. LARA: HISTORY LESSON
"Let's go for a walk."
I raised my head to glance up at Silas when his words penetrated my mind. Silas hovered in the doorway of the kitchen with his hands pushed into the pockets of his jeans. Our eyes locked for a few seconds before I lowered mine. A part of me was still mad at him for telling everyone that there was a possibility of me being pregnant.
"Lara?"
"I'm busy."
"You've been staring at the same page for the past twenty minutes."
Silas entered the kitchen and walked around the table until he stopped next to me. To my surprised he leaned down, tugged the book from my hand, slammed it closed and then threw it aside. Once that was done, Silas grabbed my hand and pulled me to my feet.
"Silas—" My words died down when he pressed his lips against mine.
His tongue traced my bottom lips slowly. I moaned and reached up to grip his shoulders as my knees weakened. My lips parted to allow him entrance and he didn't disappoint. The tip of his tongue traced the back of my teeth and then the roof of my mouth before tangling with mine. I pressed my body against his to get closer.
"I'm sorry," he breathed against my lips. "Forgive me, sweetness."
I smiled. "You're going to have to work for it."
"Yeah?" I nodded. "What do you want me to do?"
"Kiss me," I whispered.
Silas leaned down again but I pulled away before he could kiss me. His brows dipped down into a frown. I gave him a smile and gripped his hand. My smile faded slightly when I guided his hand down between my legs. I tilted my hips forward.
"Here," I breathed. "I want you to kiss me here."
Silas smirked. He gripped my hips and lifted me onto the table and then he dropped down to his knees in front of me. My eyes widened when he placed his hands on my calves and slowly pushed them up along with my dress.
"We can't, Silas. Not here!"
He chuckled. "No one's here."
"Silas."
I forgot what I wanted to say when he pressed his lips against my knee. He slowly skimmed them upwards as he spread my legs wider. His slow pace was killing me. His fingers brushed the damp material of my panties before his mouth did. Leaning back on my palms, I raised my hips to help him when he hooked his fingers in the band of my panties.
Silas smirked at me as he slowly pulled my panties down my legs. He dropped them to the floor, gripped my thighs and spread them wide. My head dropped back when he finally pressed his mouth to the place I wanted it most. Silas made love to my pussy like he did with my mouth whenever we kissed. My breathing sped up when he flicked his tongue back and forth over my clit.
"More."
Silas pressed his tongue flat and growled. My legs snapped closed but he quickly spread them apart again. I reached down to burry a hand in his hair and tilted my hips towards his mouth. He shifted and a second later two of his fingers slowly slid inside my pussy. Silas's fingers increased in speed as he circled my clit slowly.
"Are you going to come?"
I raised my head to glance down at him. His eyes were focused on mine. He raised an eyebrow when I didn't answer him. I started nodding frantically which made his smile widen. His lips were glistering with my juices. It should've been embarrassing, but after spending so much time with Silas there was no time to be embarrassed.
A whine fell from my lips when he pulled his fingers out of me and straightened. Silas winked at me as he reached down and unbuckled his belt. He made quick work of pulling his dick from his pants and slipping on a condom. Silas gripped the back of my knees and pulled me closer to the edge of the table. With one thrust he was buried deep inside me.
I kind of wished that we were skin to skin instead of half dressed. But then on the other side, anyone could walk in on us. The thought made me feel a little hotter. I clung to him as he fucked me. The sound of skin slapping on skin, our harsh breathing and the sound of the table scrapping against the floor, was the only sound filling the kitchen.
Pressing my face against his neck, I placed open mouth kisses against his skin as the pleasure started to rise. A faint sound reached my ears, making me raise my head. I glanced over Silas's shoulder towards the doorway. Ethan stood where Silas had only a few minutes ago. Shock was quickly replaced by horror. I was about to push Silas away when I realized something.
Ethan was stroking his dick through his pants. His eyes narrowed to slits when he realized that I was watching him. His lips twitched but he didn't smile. My eyes dropped to his hand when he reached inside his pants. It was wrong. I knew it was wrong to stay silent and allow him to watch us. This was a private moment between me and my fiancé. He had no right jerking off while watching us.
My eyes snapped back up to his face before I caught a glance at his dick. His eyes had darkened until they gleamed black. I glanced at his mouth and was shocked when I saw sharp canines peeking out from behind his lips.
One of Silas's hands slipped between our bodied. I moaned when he pressed a finger against my clit. My eyes fluttered close but I forced them open. Ethan was leaning against the wall with his short pushed down to his knees. His hand was moving in rhythm with us. It was a sight to behold—one that made me crash over the edge along with both of them.

"You can ask me anything. I know your pot must be boiling over with questions."
My hold on his hand tightened when I slipped slightly in the mud. After our hot sex in the kitchen, he told me to exchange my dress for jeans and a pair of boots. I was reluctant to leave the bedroom encase I walked into Ethan. When I had opened my eyes after coming down from my orgasm, Ethan was gone. There was absolutely no sign of him ever being there.
I swallowed and forced the image of him that was burned into my mind, away. The last thing I wanted to do was think about another man while I was with my fiancé. A man that was also my fiancé's brother. It was wrong on so many levels and it actually made me feel sick.
"Lara?"
"How are you able to change forms?" I asked hoarsely.
Silas led me over to a fallen tree stump a few feet ahead of us. He took a seat first before tugging me down next to him. He hesitated and then turned around to straddle tree stump.
"We were created," he said softly, making my eyes snap up to his in shock. "Although we're not really sure how things started, we know that we were created in labs by some mad scientist. They used human embryos and spliced them with animal DNA. There were a lot of failures before they finally got it right. The first Lycan, or werewolf as you call them, was born on the 20th of April 1969."
"So you've been around for a long time."
He nodded. "Most of the elders were born in laboratories where they were given drugs and trained."
"How—" I swallowed loudly. "How were they born if they were created?"
Silas's eyes darted around as he spoke. "They found females who were desperate enough for money to agree to have them plant a spliced egg inside them. The women carried the babies until they were full-term." He sucked in a harsh breath. "Once the babies were old enough to handle it, they started giving them drugs to help them grow stronger."
My lips parted but no sound escaped. I could only imagine the hell they had lived through. My eyes darted over his face when he glanced back at me. I could tell that he didn't really want to talk about this but he was only because I wanted to know more about it. I reached out and pressed my palm against his cheek. Silas instantly leaned into my touch.
"I'm sorry."
"For what?" He gave me a small smile. "A lot of the elders hate humans for what was done to them. They've lost a lot of family and friends because of them, but we've learned that not all humans are bad. After they escaped, they learned how to adapt."
"I'm sorry that you had to go through that."
He gripped my hand and lowered it to his lap. Silas stared down at our hands. I swallowed and then asked him what has been on my mind ever since I realized that he was part Lycan.
"How do you only have. . ." I trailed off and made a gesture with my hand.
His eyes shot up to mine. Silas pursed his lips but answered the question without any hesitation.
"My mother is a half-breed. Her father was Lycan and her mother human." He swallowed. "My mother can partly shift and my fathers' can fully shift. Ethan inherited more of the dominant genres than me. That's why he can shift."
"You hate him for that, don't you?" I questioned softly.
"Yes." There was no hesitation.
