Mukti looked at her friend who looked like a girl haunted by a vicious demon from the depths of hell....she concernedly put her arm around her shoulder to provide her with some comfort but it only made aliya flinch.....

" a...aliya...babe relax.....just calm down.....it will be alri........." before she could complete her sentence she was interrupted by a hysterical aliya " what relax mukthi....i am doomed.....it won't be alright......she.....she will not spare me........" aliya spoke wide-eyed..........

Mukthi sighed and  comforted " don't worry.....we.....we will find a way out...let's first talk to dhruv....."

Hearing Dhruv's name aliya felt a silver of hope still remaining.....she frantically nodded her head and both of them returned to Hyatt hotel..........

Hyatt hotel......

Aliya and mukthi entered their suit only to find dhruv yelling at someone in the phone.....they paused in their tracks.....soon the yells turned low and finally the call seemed to be abruptly disconnected and what followed was a loud banging of something on the ground.....

Mukthi walked forward while aliya followed her in slow strides.....what greeted them was a raging dhruv and a broken phone which laid on the ground.......

" dhruv.....what happen to you....is something wrong......." mukthi asked apprehensively.....aliya too looked at him with fearful eyes....she had a bad promotion in her heart that something huge must have happened to make him lose his composure......

" i don't know mukthi....i just don't know.....the contract we were about to sign....they just abruptly backed off...." dhruv said as he let out a frustrated sigh.........

" what.....how could they just back off like that......." mukthi yelled.......

" that not all...." dhruv interrupted.......

" there's more......." aliya asked......why did their troubles seemed never-ending...........

" yes...the worst part is that.......someone put a price for our head....." dhruv said........

This time not only aliya but mukthi too looked horrified......" you mean.....they put a bounty on us in the underworld......"

" yes....it's unsafe for us to leave right now with all the people waiting to kill us......"

" then....what should we do......." aliya spoke.......

Dhruv looked at her and spoke, " for the time being we lay low........till this phase passes or we find the person who put the price for our head........"

7 days later...

These seven days were hellish for manik as he literally experienced hell on earth....every second was like treading on thin ice.....one small mistake and he would have been out.....one wrong word he was out.....one wrong move.... out......still with all this intense pressure on him his determination was unwavering.....although nandini literally made him her slave he still dint felt bad about it nor did he thought to give up even for a second.....

But.....the person in question....the queen has still not had a change of heart...he felt her respond to him....he felt her feelings......her pain .....but the next moment she would be just as ruthless as before making him feel that all that she showed earlier was just his own crazy imagination........

His thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door.....he stopped his packing and turned around only to find akash looking at him with a small smile.......

" so.....finished packing huh......." akash asked settling on the comfy bed........

Manik nodded " yes....all done......"

Akash looked at him and felt funny that even after all that he went through at the hands of his niece this boy never wavered but now here he was packing up and leaving to India in an hour......

" i am sorry young man......she is still not letting you in... " akash genuinely apologized to him.....manik shook his head......" no....uncle you don't need to apologize.....maybe i dint try hard enough......but it doesn't mean that i am giving up......"

Akash furrowed his brows " Matlab...."

Manik " i am going back to India not due to Nandini.....the company has been facing some issues as it is difficult to operate from here so i have decided to shift my company to here itself........"

Akash looked at him with disbelief " manik i hope you know that shifting your company here is not an easy task in fact there are too many risks......"

Manik nodded " i know uncle.....its probably the riskiest decision i have ever taken but i know that even if it is risky i won't ever regret it....."

Akash looked at him " why..."

" because of her....when the time comes that she will be willing to give me a chance then i don't want to burden her by asking her to go back with me as i have my work there......i don't want her to leave everything behind.......she has a whole different world here with you in it and i want that to always be there with her...." manik spoke....

Akash looked at him grinning " you sure are hopelessly in love......."

Manik bit his inner cheek to control his blush " to be honest.....i think i love this new nandini more....the nandini i knew was calm , collected and a savior to everyone but the nandini i saw here is so different.....she is bold...headstrong....she knows what she wants...she is rude but cares for the people in her life in her own weird way.....and maybe its all these small things that made me fall in love with her all over again........"

Akash patted his back and turned to leave giving him a grateful smile......he stepped out of the room and spoke out in a low voice " that boy loves you so much...are you still not going to give in....let go of the fear nandini....i hope you make the right decision......."

Nandini who was leaning on the wall hearing their conversation closed her eyes as a lone tear slid down her lids......she took a deep breath and wiped away the wetness.....

Entering the room nandini saw manik ready to leave the room....." i will call the driver to drop you off at the airport........"

Manik nodded.....he waited for a few seconds but seeing that she had nothing more to say he turned to leave afraid that a second more with her and he would call off his trip and just stay.....but before he could walk out of the room he heard her voice " don't love me so much manik.....i don't deserve it......"

Manik turned and walked towards her.....he gently cupped her cheek and spoke patiently " you deserve every bit of it and much more...... my love....."

Nandini continued as if she never heard him " i am not what you think manik.....i am a monster.....what you see is only the surface of how cruel i can be.....no one can love a monster manik.....no one......."

Manik shook his head....." there is no monster nandini.....in this world, no one is a complete devil or an angel they are just different shades of both.....and no matter what.....even if you are a monster, my love for you will never change....i loved the good in you and i will love your flaws as well......because they make you who you are......"

Nandini just kept looking at him... she placed her hand over his which was resting on her cheek before whispering " after you are back i want to tell you something......."

With that said she left the room.....as she left a huge smile covered manik's face...." she is ready to trust me......" manik thought......

2 hours later....

Nandini was busy working when she got a call from kain......" this better be important kain or else......" before she could complete her sentence she heard the voice that made her widen her eyes by a minuscule.......

" long time princess....i am glad that you are still the same wild cat hun......" she heard the same sadistic voice she loathed.......

" amar.....what do you want.... " she spat as the veins on her forehead began to throb.....

" well....its been long isn't it....but you are the one to blame for it princess you nearly made it impossible for me to step again in Australia......" amar spoke in a fake pitiful tone......

" but you still managed dint you......" nandini spoke boredly........

" well i did...and this time my purpose is ain't that simple after al.....l this time i specially came to see the love of the mafia queen in person......"

Nandini froze as she heard him.....she took her other phone and quickly called kain only to hear no one pick it up.......

" aww....isnt no one answering.......i hope you now know that your love is in my hands.....i must say you protected him well but too bad he is with me now......." amar spoke mockingly.....

Nandini gritted her teeth " don't you dare harm him amar......just wait.....i will make sure to pay you back......."

Amar smirked, " of course princess.....i won't harm him until you come to me....i am at the same place as before......and remember this time no more tricks ..... you wouldn't want to lose anyone more would you....."

Nandini tightened her grip on the phone and rushed out.........
