P.O.V. Third

I groaned a bit as I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I wasted no time in pressing the small button on top of it in order to silence it. Today was one of my few days off from school so I had a hard time remembering why I set my alarm at all. After a moment it came back to me what I was doing today. After a moment I heard my phone ring and I slowly answered it. "Hello?" I asked as I began to go through my morning routine.

"Hey, want to come over today?" I heard [BFF] ask from the other end of the phone.

"Can't, I'm going out with Hikage today," I said as I began to get dressed.

"You're still going out with 'dead face'?" He asked from the other end and I immediately hung up on him. After a few seconds I heard my phone ringing again and I answered it.

"Hello?" I asked as I looked at myself in the mirror.

"What was that for?" [BFF] asked from the other side of the phone.

"What do you think? I told you to stop calling her that, so I decided to exercise my amazing power of getting you to stop talking for a few seconds. Otherwise known as hanging up the phone," I said as continued through my routine.

"Right, right sorry. But seriously you're still going out with her?" [BFF] once again asked from the phone.

"Yeah, why?" I asked as began to pick out some slightly nicer clothes to wear for today.

"Well I mean I saw how she 'asked you out' and I've got to say a few of my red flag detectors were going off when she came up to you and said 'you're taking me out tomorrow'. She basically ordered you take her out," [BFF] said from the phone.

"Yeah I know, but I think it's kind of cute," I said as I looked at myself once again.

"I don't know dude, why did you even ask her out? Is it because of her tits?" [BFF] asked from the phone.

"I didn't she asked me out," I said into the phone.

"And by that you mean?" He asked waiting for me to answer. I sighed hearing this thinking back to the day she 'asked me out'.

"She walked up to pointed at me and said that I was her boyfriend now," I said as I walked outside.

"Uh . . . I just . . . okay, whatever," [BFF] said from the other side of the phone as he looked at me.

"Anyway I gotta go I'm about to leave the house," I said as I began to walk out of the house. When I said this I hung up and heard him mumble a goodbye as I hung up. I then continued down the streets slowly making my way towards several different areas slowly getting things ready for my date with Hikage. When I was ready I began to make my way towards the building she lived in and looked at it a bit intimidated.

I then took a deep breath to try and calm myself and knocked on her door. When I did she opened the door and stared at me with the same blank expression. However, I could tell that she was expecting me because she was wearing different clothes than usual. A red sweater that hugged her frame tightly, a light blue skirt, and a pair of black leggings. "You look nice," I said as I held out a flower for her.

"Thank you," She said as she stared at the flower for a moment before placing it to the side on a small desk. "You look nice as well," She said as she looked at me. I smiled hearing this and held out my arm for her. When I did she took it and walked out of her house shutting the door behind her as she did. "So where are we going?" She asked in a monotone voice as she stared blankly ahead of us.

"To a theme park," I said as I looked at her. She showed no reaction to this. I should have expected this to be honest but it was still a bit disappointing to see nonetheless. We continued towards the theme park and when we arrived I handed them the tickets that I had paid for earlier that day and we walked into the park together. I smiled as I saw everything that the park had to offer.

We rode several rides together and while I was having fun Hikage seemed to be fairly indifferent the entire time. It was a bit discouraging, to be honest, the only reason I brought her here was because I was hoping this place would get her to show some emotion. What place is more exciting than a theme park? No other place came close to the amount of excitement it could offer and yet she still seemed so stoic and distant from everything.

I sighed and we walked up to an ice cream stand where I got both of us something to eat. As we were walking I spotted a rather familiar ride and smiled slightly. I tugged on Hikage's sleeve slightly and looked at her. "Want to ride the 'tunnel of love' together?" I asked as I looked at her with a smile. She nodded hearing this and I smiled as we began to wait in line for the ride. I knew that it was a fairly boring ride, and of course, I understood the intentions behind it. But even so, I thought riding it would be a nice memory if nothing else.

When we were finally able to ride it we both stepped into the heart-shaped boat together and began to ride towards the tunnel. However, as we did I began to have doubts about my plan. What if she gets mad when I try to kiss her? I don't want the first emotion I see from her to be anger. We then entered the tunnel and I continued to debate with myself over whether or not I should do this and eventually I decided against it and just enjoyed the ride with her.

However as we got closer and closer to the light I felt something light, soft, and a bit cold touch my cheek quickly before pulling back just as quickly. When it did I looked at Hikage as we came out of the tunnel and she had the same stoic expression as if nothing had happened. I could see a male selling pictures of people on the ride and just as we passed by him Hikage pulled on me a little aggressively almost as if she didn't want to stop at the pictures.

"Excuse me you two but would you like-" The male began only for Hikage to cut him off.

"No," She said bluntly as she continued to pull on my arm. As she did I looked at the screens behind him and saw our photo. Just as I thought Hikage had kissed my cheek in the tunnel. Was she embarrassed about what happened? it was a bit hard to tell since she wasn't showing any signs of embarrassment. Her face wasn't red, her voice wasn't shaking, her body wasn't tense. It was if she was just as calm and relaxed as always.

I was a bit confused by why she would be confused, I really wouldn't mind if she had. I actually thought it was a little cute. However, I didn't want to upset her so I didn't question it. As we were walking Hikage eventually tugged on my arm and I looked at her. "Can we the Ferris wheel?" Hikage asked as she pointed at the ride. I smiled and nodded hearing this and we once again began to wait in line.

When we arrived at the front we looking out at the park. The sun had begun to fall and many of the lights for the rides, shops, and other attractions had been turned on creating a lovely view for us. I smiled as I looked out at the scene in front of us. "Beautiful isn't it?" I asked as I looked at the city causing her to hum a small agreement. We then once again fell into a small silence and it felt like an eternity before either of us finally spoke again and as it turned out. Hikage was the one to break the silence.

Hikage stared at me for a moment making me a little nervous before she finally spoke. "[Name]," She said as she looked at me. "Would it be alright if I kissed you?" She asked as she looked at me causing my face to break out into a large blush. However, before I could answer she looked down a bit discouraged. "I know it's rude to do something like that without permission, so I thought I'd ask. I'm not very good at picking up on social cues or understanding emotions so I don't know when it's the right time or not. Sorry if I 'ruined the mood'," She said as she continued to look down.

While her voice was monotone and her expression was fairly stoic I could tell that she really meant what she said and smiled as I moved closer and place a hand on top of her. When I did she looked at me and I shook my head. "You don't need to ask me if it's alright," I said as I looked at her. She nodded hearing this and leaned closer to me before gently pressing her lips to mine. As she did I slowly closed my eyes and relaxed into the kiss.

It felt like she was relaxed from the very beginning so I didn't have much to worry about when it came to kissing her. As I did I reached up to slowly brush my hand through her hair and she lifted her hands to wrap them around my neck. The kiss slowly became more and more intense as we continued and before long I could feel her lips separate a bit and her tongue slowly begin to glide along my bottom lip.

As she did I opened my mouth a bit and met her tongue in the center. I could feel her pull me closer. As she did I moved my hands down to her waist feeling her slender form in my hands pulled her bit closer as well as our heated and passionate kiss continued. We were both breathing heavily and before long we eventually broke the kiss with a thin trail of saliva connecting the two of us together.

I was out of breath but Hikage looked as if she was fairly unfazed by the event. "So I can kiss you whenever I want?" Hikage asked as she looked at me and I nodded. "When we're at school?" She asked and I once again nodded. "In public?" She asked and I once again nodded. "In the bathroom?" I was a bit more concerned hearing this but still nodded hearing this. "Right now?" She asked as she looked at me.

This one was a bit more embarrassing since we were no longer at the top of the Ferris wheel. We were close to the bottom now and several people could see us. I once again nodded hearing this and Hikage leaned forward to kiss me once again. However, this time it was different. It wasn't as heated as before however, it was still passionate just holding none of the intensity as before. It was a sweet and gentle kiss.

When we broke the kiss I looked at Hikage and the corner of her mouth began trembling a bit before slowing moving up into a smile. I was so used to seeing her stoic and expressionless face that seeing her smile was a bit strange. But without a doubt, it was much better than just seeing her stare blankly. Now that I've seen her smile, I'm going to do everything I can to try and make her smile as much as possible.
