What Happened To Us?

"What is going on here?" Gramps said as he entered the Guild Hall. "Body switch." Levy said between giggles.

Gramps's eyes widened and he hung his head. "Who?" I raised my/Natsu's hand and waved it. "That would be us!" I told Gramps. He sighed and went over to us.

Natsu who was still in my body was on the ground and he was staring up at the ceiling. He was also muttering things but I didn't care enough to hear what he was saying.

"Gramps, what on Earthland happened to us?" The Master of Fairy Tail raised a finger and took a deep breath. "I...have no idea." Natsu's/my mouth dropped open and fire started to fall from my mouth again.

"It once happened to us too." Levy piped up. Lucy laughed, "It happened to the whole Guild, when you tried to reverse it, Levy-chan!" Levy laughed softly at that, "Yay, sorry about that."

I looked at them, "How did you get back to normal then?!" Levy shrugged her shoulders, "No idea. It kinda just wore off...I think." Lucy smiled, "Well it worked for Gray and I. Levy-chan reversed it for us and it only worked on us."

I blew out a breath and scratched the back of Natsu's/my head. Well, this didn't help us...I looked back at Lucy and noticed that her cheeks were starting to turn a light shade of red. "Umm, I know it's you, Freya...but...you're kind of shirtless right now."

"Eh?" I looked down at myself and let out a yelp when I noticed that she was right. "Not again..." I muttered. I heard someone laugh and I looked over. Gray was laughing under his breath at me.

"Oi, don't start, Stripper." I warned him as I walked over to him. At least he had listened to me and he was now wearing some clothes.

He was in his usual attire, but what I was focused on was his long white jacket. I snapped my fingers and a little flame appeared. "I need your jacket, Gray." He looked at me and shook his head. "No way, Freya."

I clenched my teeth, "Let me rephrase my question. Give me your jacket, Gray." Gray crossed his arms over his chest, "Your gonna burn it to ashes or somethin worse." With a sigh I grabbed his arm and twisted it behind his back. With some challenge I managed to get it off him.

I slipped it on, "There." I turned back to Gray and he was rubbing his arm...naked. "Gray, you're clothes." He cursed and started to look for them. See, you didn't even need this jacket.

I chuckled and turned back around. Natsu had finally picked himself off the ground. He let out a groan and cracked his/my back.

"My backs killing me! And my chest feels so damn heavy!" I placed my fist over my/ Natsu's chest as my face turned red, "Ack!" I closed my eyes and moaned. "Somebody better start telling us something!" I yelled in frustration.

"I'm sorry!"

A small voice called out. I spun and narrowed my/Natsu's eyes on where the voice had come from. My/Natsu's eyes widened when I saw who it was.

No way...

"Happy!" Natsu and I yelled at the same time.

There, standing in the middle of the Guild Hall, was little Happy. He was holding something in his small paws. It looked like an old scroll. I stormed up to him and crouched down to his level.

"What did you do, Happy?" I heard Natsu come over to us and he also crouched down next to me. "Happy, you can tell us." Natsu said with a softer voice. Happy did not look happy.

He hung his head and his ears flopped down. "I-I switched you're bodies." Happy admitted. I sighed heavily, "Why would you do that, Happy?" The little blue Exceed muttered something under his breath.

But I heard it, thanks to my new advanced hearing. My eyes widened for a fraction of a second then I smiled softly. "Okay, Happy, I understand." Natsu turned my head to look at me. "What did he say?" I shook my head at him and Natsu's scarf swung with the movement.

I lifted Natsu's hand and laid it on top of Happy's head. "Happy, can you change us back?" The cat looked up and nodded his head. He then opened up the scroll and he began chanting in another language that I didn't recognize.

I suddenly felt a sharp tug and then I blinked. I looked down and I saw long dark hair. I grabbed it and then I touched my face. I smirked, "I'm back and I'm dressed in black, bitches!" I yelled. My Guild Mates laughed and cheered for us.

Natsu, now back in his own body, let out a whoop. He put his fist in the air and lit it aflame. "It feels good to be back!" Then he froze and looked at himself.

He let out a disgusted breath and gripped Gray's jacket in his fist. "What the hell?! Why did you have to put me in the Ice Princess's clothes?" With another disgusted noise he made the flames on his fist spread. His flames engulfed Gray's jacket and it turned to ash.

Natsu let out a relieved breath and smiled. "There, that's better!"

"Why did you do that for, baka!" Gray yelled.

Natsu turned and put his hands behind his head, uncaring that he was now shirtless.

"Cause I knew it would annoy the hell outta ya."

"You wanna go, Lizard?"

"Any time, Snowman!"

I laughed softly as I watched Natsu stalk up to Gray. I looked down and frowned when I saw Happy there. He was staring up at me with sad eyes. "I'm sorry, Freya."

I smiled down at him. "It's okay, Happy." Happy sighed, "I just w-wanted..." My smile fell a little and my gaze returned to Natsu. "Yay, I know, Happs..."

As I continued to watch Natsu and Gray throw insults at one another, Happy's words echoed in my mind.

Why did you do it, Happy?

I did it because...I want Nat-zu and you to be happy together...I wanted you two to be closer...

I sighed sadly, maybe one day Happy.

Maybe one day...

Authors note: see? Here's the next chapter! I know it seems like this story is just going on and on. But the next chapter, that's where the story begins to really pick up. I just needed to write these 'filler' chapters cause I want you all to see how far Natsu's and Freya's relationship has come. The next chapter is gonna be where it all begins to go down.
