Chapter 20: Goodbye for now

Once Snape had packed he slung his luggage in a corner and ran down to the hospital wing. He found Lucy getting out of the hospital bed and not looking to pleased. Snape walked over to her.

"What's the moody face for?" Snape asked.

"Speak for yourself!"

Snape shook his head.

"I haven't had a shower in a week and I haven't touched a guitar in a week! I am scared..." Lucy paced.

"Hurry up and have a shower then the feast will be beginning soon, and I believe your bag is still in the common room." Snape said.

Lucy nodded and ran to Snape's quarters to take a shower. Afterwards she headed for the common room but in the hallway she managed to rush into someone unwanted.

"Well, well, well what do we have here? The un petrified Snape's daughter. Oh what a shame you did look a lot better petrified. And also while you were petrified one of your Weasley friends gave me this little bag!" It was Malfoy and who was with him? Crabbe and Goyle, Draco had Lucy's purse in his hand.

"Give it here Malfoy!" Lucy growled.

"Really? You hear that boys? Well I think we need to duel about this...if you want it back that is, I heard there's some interesting stuff in there"

Draco took out his wand and Lucy did the same. They bowed to each other (much to Lucy's disgust.) And then began to fight.

"EXPELLIARMOUS!" Draco shouted, but before Lucy could block it Snape stood in front of her and blocked it for her.

"Malfoy I suggest you return the bag to Lucy and stop duelling" Snape said his voice cold.

Draco growled put his wand away and handed the bag to Lucy who immediately put it on.

"Wait until my Father here's about this!" Draco said.

Lucy rolled her eyes and Snape shook his head. Draco, Crabbe and Goyle walked off to the great hall for the feast. Lucy smiled at Snape then ran back to his quarters took out her hot pink electric guitar, she placed her bag on her bed then hurried down to the great hall.

Lucy saw the doors were closed, she was a bit nervous of opening them whilst the whole school was in there, but did it anyway. She slung her electric guitar round her neck and onto her back. When she had opened the doors the whole hall looked at her. Fred, George, Harry, Ron, Hermione and many others turned their heads to the doors. All of Lucy's friends rushed over to her. Hermione was the first to speak.

"Well I haven't seen you in a while have I?" She said, she gave Lucy a hug both girls smiled.

"No, but both of us are ok now and that is all that matters."

"I'm really glad your ok Lucy, that was some fight me and Shona pulled off to save you!" Harry said.

"And don't forget me trying to look after to David Hassrlhoff!" Ron smiled.

"Classic joke, I bet he's still confused what time of day it is now!" Shona laughed.

"Hey, i'm hungry I haven't eaten in ages, lets go sit down" Lucy said.

Lucy sat down in between Fred and George, Lucy and the others ate their last feast at Hogwarts (until next year.) After Lucy and her friends hand finished the feast Lucy turned to the others.

"Hey I know we aren't allowed out after the feast but how about we all go down to the lake and me Fred George and Shona can do a little bit of music for you all." Lucy suggested.

"That would be awesome!" Harry said.

"If my dad comes...Well who cares!" Lucy threw her arms up into the air.

After the house cup and quidditch cup had been awarded Lucy and her friends headed down to the lake. Lucy sat down by the tree and strummed her electric guitar. Shona tapped her drumsticks on a nearby rock, Fred played the bass and George played the acoustic guitar. They did this for a while until Snape showed up.

"Lucy, what are you doing here with these hooligans." Snape growled.

"Oh nothing much, playing a bit of music for the last time until next year" Lucy shrugged.

"Not acceptable...But I will let you off just this once, because the house cup has been awarded and there is no point me giving you a detention either..."

There were cheers from Lucy's friends.

"But I want you back by ten o'clock is that understood?" Snape said.

"Yes dad..." Lucy groaned.

Snape stormed back up to the castle. Lucy shook her head.

"So what you guys going to do in the summer?" Lucy asked.

"We're going to practice quidditch and our bass and guitar playing, and if it's ok with Snape and our mum and dad you can come to the burrow for band practice" Fred grinned.

"Awesome! What about you Shona?"

"Oh I don't know I might annoy my brother or something like that!" Shona laughed.

"Don't you think its quite scary, me, Shona, Harry, Ron and Hermione have just finished our second year, Fred and George have finished their third and Ginny has completed her first year!"

"Come to think of it, yeah." Ron said, he was laying on the grass.

Lucy let out a yawn then looked at her watch '9: 55' she groaned then turned to the others.

"I better go now, dad will have a massive moan at me if I don't get back by ten, literally and you know how he moans..." Lucy rolled her eyes.

"Well I guess we will see you later then!" Shona said.

"Yeah, might persuade dad to let you come round" Lucy laughed at the thought of her trying to convince her dad. She could already see the disgusted look on his face.

Lucy stood up and so did the others, Hermione and Ginny gave her a hug, Ron, Harry, Shona shook hands with her and Fred and George came for a group hug.

"If I don't see some of you in the holiday I will see you back at school!" Lucy waved goodbye and headed back to the castle.

When she arrived at Snape's quarters she found Snape miserably reading the daily prophet (surprise surprise.) Snape put his newspaper down as Lucy entered.

"Ten o'clock sharp, good, I thought you were going to disobey me and stay with them imbeciles longer...Oh my goodness me! You look pale!" Snape stood up at his last words.

"Dad i'm fine!" Lucy protested, she put her guitar on a leather chair, she picked up Angus and gave him a stroke, but Angus wiggled free and started running around again.

"I think you should go to bed..." Snape said.

"I'm fine!" Lucy tried to protest some more but Snape wouldn't have it, he took Lucy's hand sat down himself and made Lucy sit on his lap. "I'm a bit old for this..." Lucy half smiled. But she was really tired.

Snape didn't say anything as she watched Lucy fall asleep on his lap. He looked down at Lucy he stroked her hair gently, but then he noticed something. How her hair had turned slightly reddish not, red like the Weasley's hair. But more like a reddy-brown. Strange he thought to himself. Maybe she's a metamorphmagus no she can't be that's extremely rare! Its impossible!...Or is it...

When Lucy woke up she found herself sitting on Snape's lap. She looked at Snape and saw he was still sleeping. She did have to laugh to herself. But then she stopped. She could remember something from last night. It was a dream but a weird one. She could see this women and this man. Lucy couldn't remember their features just remember this women and this man... 'Get rid of her' the man had said. Lucy wasn't sure what he was on about but it didn't matter anymore it was just a dream. She got up, got changed into some black skinny jeans and a jumper.) She grabbed her bag and went downstairs. When she arrived downstairs Snape was just waking up.

"For once i'm the one up first!" Lucy said smiling.

Snape rolled his eyes and went up to his room and got changed himself, he went downstairs and saw there was breakfast on the table.

"Lucy! Why did you make breakfast?" Snape asked he was confused.

"You normally do it for me, so why can't I do it for you?" Lucy sat down and ate her breakfast while Snape sat down and ate his.

"It's been quite a year!" Lucy said.

"It has rather sad part of it." Snape stood up and took both his and Lucy's plate and washed them up (with his wand of course.)

"I know, I couldn't help being dragged into the chamber by a bloody great snake!" Lucy laughed

"You laugh now but imagine if your skeleton had lied in the chamber forever."

"I know you'd be even more miserable than now...Oh wait that's not possible, kidding!"

Snape half smiled.

"Don't scare me now dad!"

Lucy and Snape went down to where everyone was collecting the train. Lucy and Snape found an empty compartment and nobody joined them for the rest of the journey. What a year it had been...And what a year it would be next year...

Shona: .........

Lucy: You can talk now Shona

Shona: Woop! I can!

Lucy: Yes much to my displeasure.....

Shona: You sound more like Snape every time I see you....

Lucy: Oh put a sock in it!

Shona: Whatever...Beside's I helped you with this book!

Lucy: I know! If you don't stop annoying me I won't be able to write book three! Will I?

Shona: Fine... But this one is going to be the best one ever!!!

Lucy: Shona there is going to be seven book two parts to the last one!

Shona: Fine, JUST GET ON WITH THE THIRD BOOK!
