Chapter 10: Lucy and her freind the wolf 

Lucy who was in Snape's quarters and glanced at the clock, it was 9:30 and she still wasn't in bed. Snape would have a go at her if she wasn't in bed by now, but he wasn't here. He was in the great hall with Dumbledore. Lucy picked up a book, but before she could read it she fell asleep...

The next day Lucy woke up and glanced around confused. But then she realised she must of fallen asleep. She shrugged and got up. She shuffled to her room lazily and got changed into her school clothes as she walked down the stairs she saw Snape in the living room.

"Lucy your up early" Snape said frowning

"Am I?" Lucy glanced at the clock it read 6:30, she shrugged and sat in one of the leather chairs. "So what happened last night in the great hall?"

"Nothing important" Snape said

"So has Sirius Black been spotted?"

"No, not yet luckily, and I am not having him coming anywhere near you, I am still in shock over what the dementor did to you. The dementors only suck the happiness out of people not stab them in the neck with their claws"

Lucy ran her fingers over the stitches on her neck and winced. They were painful.

"Are you ok?" Snape asked concerned

"It's nothing, its just these stitches, just a bit painful that's all"

"I'm surprised that dementor didn't kill you"

"That's cheerful!"

"Sorry"

Lucy shook her head and grabbed a book to pass the time away. But then a sudden thought popped into Lucy's head.

"Dad?" Snape looked up from the newspaper "Is Sirius Black an animagus?"

"Yes he is"

"Ok just wondering..." 

After a while Lucy walked out of Snape's quarters and headed down to the great hall, but on her way she saw something which made her stop in her tracks. She saw a black shape walking in the hall. It was coming towards her. Lucy watched as it came fourth, when it was about a meter away from Lucy it stopped.

Lucy gulped, the black shape was a wolf, a wolf with black fur. It walked forward and when it was by her feet it sat down patiently. Lucy didn't dare move, nobody was around. Lucy bent down at stroked the wolf.

"Where did you come from?" Lucy asked the wolf quietly

"I have come to kill..." It replied, Lucy gasped

"Did you just speak to me?"

"Yes"

"Who are you? And why can you talk to me?"

"I am Sirius Black, and you can probably talk to animals"

"Oh my goodness! My dad will have a go at me if he finds out i'm talking to Sirius Black! And how can I talk to animals?"

"I don't know how you can talk to animals...And who is your father?"

"Severus Snape, or Professor Snape at Hogwarts"

"Really your his daughter!?"

"No i'm adopted"

"Wow I didn't know Severus was that kind..."

"You know him?"

"Yes I do"

"How?"

"I went to school with him, along with James Potter, Remus Lupin, Lily Evans and many others"

"But can I ask you something Sirius?"

"Yes you can"

"Who are you coming to kill?"

"Ah, that I may not tell you"

"Its not my father or any of my friends is it?"

"No, even though I hate your father I wouldn't kill him"

"You hate my dad?"

"Long story..."

"Sirius you better hide! Even though you hate my dad from what I have spoken to you about you seem like a nice...Wolf?"

"Or human, but I suppose your right, wolf suits me better for now"

"I hope to see you again soon Sirius"

"Goodbye...You didn't mention your name"

"Lucy Snape"

"Goodbye Lucy Snape, but promise me you won't tell anyone you saw me"

"I promise not to tell a sole, or an animal"

Lucy hugged the wolf known as Siruis and he ran off. Just then Lucy heard familiar footsteps behind her.

"What are you doing on the floor you filithy mud blood?"

Lucy turned around, even without looking she knew it was Malfoy

"Shove off Malfoy" Lucy growled, and stood up to face him

"Why should I Snape? Make me!"

Lucy hissed and walked quick smart to the great hall with Malfoy following her.

"Come on Snape! Tell me why you were on the floor!"

"I fell over big deal!"

"I don't believe you!"

"What has it got to do with you, you brat"

"Wait until my father here's about this!"

"Oh do I care"

"You will care when my father has a go at you!"

"In your dreams Malfoy, in your stupid little dreams..."

Lucy entered the great hall with Malfoy still following her

"It won't be in my dreams!"

"Shut up Malfoy!"

"Come and then! Want to fight about it!"

Just then Lucy stopped, she turned around and pushed Malfoy over

"Oh Malfoy you had a trip! Where's my postcard!" Lucy said sniggering, she heard all her friends laughing at her joke and Shona was cheering.

"FILTHY MUD BLOOD!"

"Whatever! Come back to me when you can find a more insulting name than that"

Lucy skipped to the Gryffindor table and sat down inbetween Fred and Shona.

"Nice one Lucy!" Shona said

"Thanks!"

After that Lucy had her lessons, and after that Lucy skipped back to Snape's quarters happily thinking about the patronus she was going to be taught by Snape.
