Luhan really acts like a brat to his mother. He of course refuses his mother invitation and says he is busy. He even doesn't say any word after that, he just ends the call and sighs. He closes his eyes as he starts thinking about what his mother capable of. His refusal totally won't stop his mother. He knows his mother's trait, she will do anything to meet his Yoojin. Nothing will make her give up once she already is curious. He feels annoyed. His mother turns this into a complicated mess.

After calming down his emotion, Luhan returns to see Yoojin. From afar, he watches her doing the cores and smile, half happy half bitter. There is weight on his shoulders, it starts pressuring his life. He wishes he could tell her the truth, but he is just a coward who is afraid of the consequence. He is deep into his thought and never realizes that she already walks closer and stops infront of him.

"Something happen?" Yoojin asks, making him jolt slightly.

"Hm?---" Luhan pauses for a while as he tries to connect with her conversation "---Ah, nothing, how are Kris and Tao? They help you, don't they?" He switches the topic swiftly.

"They are so helpful" Yoojin speaks sarcastically as she eyes the two grown man playing with the brooms.

"I'm sorry about that" Luhan chuckles as he ruffles her hair.

"Sometimes I just can't believe they smuggled drugs and killed people, they look so childish" Yoojin giggles, but then it disappears in second because she thinks she may offend him. She looks at him, but he just smirks at his brothers.

"Oh God, they are so childish, finally someone points it out, you should say it infront of their face" Luhan talks.

"Let's go back and help them" He holds her hand and they walk closer to the two childish gangster. He immediately scolds Kris and Tao who right away sweep the floor diligently.

Yoojin decides to clean another room but she halts in instant. She just stands there and stares blankly. This comes to her mind: Luhan is no different from Kris and Tao. They all do illegal things for living, they smuggled drugs, kidnapped and killed people. Her boyfriend may have countless sins but she never minds about it. Love is crazy, right? From the beginning, she knows that Luhan is a devil yet she is still willingly falling in love with him. Well, that's how love work, you only see good in every bad and perfection in every imperfection.

The clinic is all clean now, in two days Yoojin will open the clinic again since her parents will also return to Korea. Honestly, she feels so excited to meet her parents again and sleep on her own bed, but deep down she also feels sad because it means she needs to leave Luhan's apartment. She grows fond for that place.

"Hey, did I already tell you that my parents will return in two days?" Yoojin asks him when they're on the way back.

"Yeah, what time?" Luhan asks back.

"11 a.m, I'll pick them up---" Yoojin pauses and stares at him "---you know what does it mean, right? I'll leave your apartment as well since my father will protect me 24/7" She tries to speak normally but she just sounds disappointed.

"Ah---" Luhan pauses and he just realizes that he will be living alone again. He just sighs and frowns "---I never think about it before, now you remind me, I can't help but feeling upset about it" He speaks bluntly and she just smiles. She is happy to know that she is not the only one who feels disappointed about it.

"It'll feel empty without you there" Luhan confesses.

No lie, just the truth. Even now he already feels empty because of the idea of them living in a different place. He's never been like this before. As a matter of fact, he never felt like this, never acted this protective towards Joohyun, but with Yoojin everything changes. He just wants her to be near him, because he is too attached to her. He just wants her to be around him, because he is too greedy for her love.

The next day, Luhan spends all his time with Yoojin inside the apartment. They just cuddle and watch some dramas on TV, totally being lazy together. It feels comfortable for her though sometimes he gets call from the members, talking about their job. To be honest, she really wants to own him all the time because it gives her a peaceful mind that her boyfriend not directly involved in crime.

Actually, whenever Yoojin lets her brain works, she always thinks about Luhan and his job. It's too risky and she worries about it. So many times she wants to talk about it and asks him to retire, but she keeps holding it back. It's unfair for him. There is no way she would ask him to choose her and leave his brothers. At this moment, she decides to say nothing and fully trust him.

Yoojin is busy with her thought, but Luhan's gesture brings her sense back. He starts pulling her closer and wraps her inside his embrace. Naturally she just snuggles closer to his chest and closes her eyes. She listens to his heartbeat as she feels him pour kisses on the top of her head. She starts enjoying this romantic atmosphere but suddenly they hear the bell ring. She whines lowly when she feels him move away and stand up from the couch, leaving her to see who is coming.

In the other hand, right infront of the door, Luhan just petrifies there and stares at the monitor which shows his mother. He sighs and hesitates. He doesn't want to open it but if he does so, his mother will come back tomorrow. As long as she is not with his father, everything will be alright, so in the end he opens the door and welcomes his mother without any excitement.

"What are you doing here?" Luhan asks without letting his mother in.

"I'm going to see you, oh God, I have too many questions for you, let's get inside and talk" His mother steps but he blocks her.

"Mother, I'm busy" Luhan lies and of course his mother doesn't buy it.

"You hide something, don't you?---" His mother pauses and smirks "---or can I say, someone?" She continues.

"N---"

Luhan wants to deny it, but he sees his mother's eyes spark and her smile grows. He immediately turns his face and finds Yoojin there. She looks so awkward but she is still smiling. He then hears his mother giggle and she starts teasing him.

"Ha! I knew it" His mother pats his shoulder and walks pass him, approaching Yoojin.

"Hi gorgeous"

His mother right away pulls Yoojin into her embraces. Luhan just watches in horror as Yoojin starts mouthing 'help' to him. He, himself, doesn't know what to do with his mother's over friendly reaction. She waits for his answer but she gets nothing, eventually she just greets his mother politely and smiles when his mother breaks the hug.

"We never met before, but I'm Luhan's mother, you must be his girlfriend, right?" His mother talks.

Yoojin turns to see Luhan and he immediately helps her now "Yoojin, this is my mother---" He pauses and looks at his mother "---mother, this is Yoojin, my girlfriend" He continues and now he officially introduces them.

"It's really nice to meet you, darling" His mother speaks and Yoojin smiles awkwardly. This is too sudden, she is not ready to meet any of his family.

"Let's get inside"

Luhan finally invites his mother in and they all sit in the living room. His mother talks to Yoojin and she seems so interested in his girlfriend. His mother asks about her job and family. It makes him nervous but Yoojin really handles it perfectly. She spills what his mother needs to know. Rather than speaking about her late family, she just tells his mother about her actual family and about the job, she tells the truth. She says she is a doctor and has her own clinic, but of course not mentioning about the illegality.

It's quite smooth and nothing goes wrong. Luhan feels relief about it and they even have a lunch together. His mother looks happy and looks like his mother approve Yoojin as his girlfriend. After the lunch, Luhan and Yoojin walk his mother to the car and say their goodbye. His mother hugs them and gets in to the car. Once the car starts leaving them behind, his mother takes out her phone and calls her informant.

"Find out anything about Kang Yoojin, her birthday to her favorite color"

Luhan's mother ends the call and smiles. She has no bad intention as she just wants to know everything about Yoojin because she sees a long future in her son's relationship with her. She believes, in one point, they will get married and give her grandchildren. It's good to care and curious about her son's life, but this time, she will learn that sometimes too much curiosity will kill you.

The next day, Yoojin is ready to leave Luhan's apartment though it's hard. She is now inside his car, going to the airport to pick up her parents. Last night, he asked her if it was okay to come with her and meet her parents. Her answer was obvious, she was so happy because he gave it a thought. Actually he really wants to meet her parents. He wants to know more about her family.

After they arrive at the airport, Luhan suddenly feels nervous. He worries about her parents' impression of him. Even his hands turn cold which Yoojin realizes. She just chuckles and holds his hand tighter. She felt the same yesterday when she first saw his mother, it was nerve wrecking.

"Don't be too nervous" Yoojin gives him advice as she caresses his hand.

"Easy for you to say" Luhan pouts his lips and she just chuckles. She is about to talk back but she hears her mother's voice, calling her name loudly.

"Mother" Yoojin screams and lets Luhan's hand go. She welcomes her mother with a warm hug.

"Your father is waiting for the luggage" Her mother speaks and once they break the hug, her mother catches Luhan's figure.

"Oh, who is he?" Her mother asks with smile on her face.

"Mother, he is Luhan, my boyfriend" Yoojin shyly introduces Luhan and he bows to her mother, greeting her politely.

Yoojin's mother gives the same reaction as Luhan's mother. Both are super excited about the idea of boyfriend/girlfriend. Her mother talks to him and praises his handsome face which makes him blush slightly. When her father finally joins them, her mother introduces Luhan to her father, but the reaction is far from what they imagine. Her father looks taken aback, but after one second he fakes a smile and hides his shock. He tries to not be rude as he greets Luhan.

"It's nice to see you" Her father shakes Luhan's hand but Luhan knows something is off.

Luhan tries to react normally. He sets aside his negative thought and talks with manner. For a while they have a conversation but the tense just builds up. He forces himself to think positively, like maybe her father just hate the idea of her daughter having another man in her life, but it doesn't work. He exactly gets what happens here: her father knows it, partially or entirely.

The sound of Luhan's phone breaks everything. He immediately excuses himself and walks away to answer the call. Once he is away, Yoojin's father turns to face her. He grabs her shoulder and looks right into her eyes.

"Yoojin, my daughter, listen to me" Yoojin's heart beats fast as she senses problem.

"Luhan, your boyfriend, break him up before he breaks you apart"

Right, there is a problem but still, it extremely surprises Yoojin. She just keeps looking deep into her father's eyes. She tries to read and figure out what's inside his mind. She gets upset as she finds nothing but his dark orbs. He hides his true intention from her, truly because he doesn't want to hurt her, but she takes it differently. She just feels disappointed with him because he indirectly accuses Luhan as a bad guy when he warns her like that. She feels betrayed.

Not far, Luhan stops in one spot and checks his phone. He sighs as he sees his mother's caller ID there. Again, he thinks. He half-heartedly answers the phone call. Before he could say even a single word, his mother already speaks, half screaming to him.

"Break her up right now before she causes trouble to our family. It's an order!"
