"Okay take a deep breath Semmy" I told myself as I watched my looks in the mirror.

My dark brown curls were styled back, but a couple pieces were still hanging over my face which made it look casual. In my green eyes I could see that they were twinkling with excitement yet anxiety. I wore a light blue blouse and some dark jeans along. I made myself smile as I nodded to myself in approval.

I can do this!

Today was my first date with River and I needed everything to be perfect.

My eyes widened when I heard the doorbell rang.

No no no never mind, I can't do this! Abort mission!

I felt my hands shaking as I opened the door. My eyes locked his light gray eyes and I forgot how to breath whilst my heart skipped a beat, it made me feel breathless. But in a good way. He had the ability to make me forget about our surroundings.

"Wow.." River breathed out, staring at me and watching me up and down. "You look so unbelievably gorgeous Semmy.."

Stupid red cheeks, I could feel them glowing like tomatoes!

"Y-you look good yourself" I smiled, looking at him.

He styled his hair in a perfectly set quiff and once I saw his gray eyes, they were so clear that they showed me their way into his soul. He wore a black leather jacket, with a white shirt that fitted him in all the right places and a dark blue jeans.

Why was he so beautiful? I could faint right here, right now.

"Thank you Sem" He kissed my cheek soft and grabbed my hand, leading me towards the car. "After you my little boy" He smiled as he opened the door for me.

My cheeks couldn't leave me alone again.

I got in, he closed the door and rushed towards the other side. He started the car before driving away towards our designation.

I had no idea where we would be going, but I was okay with anywhere. All I needed was River next to me and I'd be more than happy.

River Allen was my designation.

"Are you ready for this date?" He grinned soft, sensing my nerves.

"I am, I'm j-just a bit nervous" I admitted, looking away in shame.

He focused on driving, but still grabbed one of my hands and caressed the back of it in such a soothing way that it made tingles go over spine.

That felt good.

"There is no need to be. I will give you the most perfect date that you'll ever have and you look really stunning in my eyes Semmy" He told me in all honesty.

I watched him in awe and smiled at him.

I couldn't believe how he was such an innocent angel. He cared for everyone and everything. He was always nice to you without judging and he had the looks.

This boy was not just hot like everyone else thought, he was also beautiful. I could see it, he had this warm shiny glow around him that put everyone in a bubbly mood just by looking at him.

I admired him for his personality. He never took advantage of either his looks or popularity.

"Semmy? Sem baby? We arrived" He spoke up, waving his hand in front of my face.

"Oh s-sorry I was thinking!" I apologized.

"Don't worry, what were you thinking about?" He asked me carefully.

"You.." I whispered soft.

He grabbed my face in his big hands and caressed my cheeks, looking deep into my eyes. I could feel the sparks flying around us. The warmth rushed to my cheeks as I watched him in admiration. He was my role model, I wanted to be like him and being on this date with him was already such a blessing to me.

I still couldn't believe that he chose me. Even though we weren't boyfriends or anything.

"God Semmy.. You are gonna be the death of me some day" He murmured low, getting closer to me.

How do I breath again? What is air?

"W-we uh.. H-have to go r-right?" I asked him shy, ruining our little moment.

"Yes let's go" He got out, rushed to the other side to help me out again.

"Where are we going?" I asked curious to what he had planned.

"It's a surprise, you'll see" He covered my eyes and leaded me further to the spot.

After a couple of times of stumbling and almost tripping to the ground thanks to River, we finally stood still.

"We're here" He whispered in my ear and slowly uncovered my eyes.

The brightness was too much at first, but once I got used to it, I looked around and saw huge lawn. The lawn was decorated with lanterns hanging on a wire into the sky. Here and there were beautiful pieces of flowers laid down. In the middle there was a blanket with different food and drinks on top.

From up here the moon shone bright, there was a perfect yet breathtaking view of stars. Even shooting stars were visible from here. My eyes widened in awe as I looked around. The galaxy definitely showed off its beauty.

"W-wow.."

"Do you like it?" I heard River ask insecure, from behind me.

"Are you crazy?! I love it!" I gasped and grabbed his hand, running to the blanket as we sat down.

"I got your favorite sandwich!" He grinned and gave me my cucumber sandwich.

"Yay! I love this!" I unwrapped it and started attacking it instantly.

River started to laugh at me when I finished it. "What?" I asked innocent.

"Well first of, you ate that pretty fast and second, you have a bit.." He smiled and suddenly brushed his thumb over my lip, making me stop breathing.

The tingles I felt, drove me insane.

"T-thanks" I whispered after the gesture.

"Let's lay down and watch the view" He smiled soft.

One day I will faint from that damn smile.

River pulled me in his arms as he laid down, giving us a perfect view on the night sky. His warmth wrapped around me like a blanket, giving me a feeling of safeness and security. A bright smile was on my face as I kept watching.

"It's so beautiful.." I gaped in awe.

"You are more beautiful" He said and kissed my head.

"Oh d-don't be so cliche Allen!" I blushed.

"I mean it! Look at your face. Your eyes are so green, it fits perfectly with your cute dark hair. And when you laugh or blush, it makes my whole heart burst. You are more beautiful than you think you are" He smiled

"Thank you.." I smiled back.

"Did you like this date?" He asked right after that, rubbing my arms soothing.

"Yes! This is the best first date ever River" I smiled.

I didn't want this night to end.

After talking about any possible topic and laying in each other arms, it started to get late. It was time to go even though we didn't want that. I guess time really flew by once you had fun.

"You look sleepy, let's go bring you back my boy" He smiled.

But you are home.

He lifted me into his warm arms as he brought me back to the car.

There always comes an end at all the good things. Unfortunately River and I stood in front of my house again, both were a bit bummed out about that. We had so much fun and I didn't think it would go this fast.

"Thank you so much for today. I had so much fun with you and I appreciate everything you've done for me" I told him, smiling and looking into his eyes to show how much I meant it.

"Of course Semmy, always for you. No need to thank me. All I wanted was for you to have a great time and a perfect first date. You don't know how happy I am to hear this" He smiled back, making sure that my heart beat faster.

He filled my heart with love.

"We'll see each other soon right?" I asked to be sure.

"Of course we will Sem"

I nodded and shivered then.

"Are you cold baby?" He asked me as he saw me shiver. "Come here.." He put his leather jacket around me and pulled me in his arms.

"T-thank you.." I giggled soft.

"By any chance, are your lips also cold?" He asked with a slight smirk.

"M-maybe they are.." I blushed.

I could feel his smile as he kissed me one last time.
