My head was clouded with thoughts of one particular special person that was locked inside my heart.

A pair of bright gray eyes that reminded me of glass, silky dark brown hair that was perfectly styled and a warm smile on those full lips. His body was well build from the bottom to the top.

He was the light in my darkest days, the happiness to my sadness and the sun to my moon.

I couldn't think about anything else.

"Morning Sem.." A low voice caught me from my thoughts.

My head snapped towards the boy that was laying next to me. In the moment that our eye locked, my heart jumped around in my chest and suddenly I forgot about the reality.

"Hey.." I eventually whispered softly, trying to keep my breath steady since we were laying so close next to each other.

River and I finally made up yesterday. As expected, we could never fight longer than an entire day. I was glad that everything was clear now between us, the heavy feeling in my stomach turned into relief.

I asked him to stay over the night and that's how we ended up in my bed this morning.

"Wanna go to the swimming pool today?" River asked from besides me.

"But you know I hate swimming!" I whined and turned away from him.

I wasn't the best at swimming plus my body wasn't as godlike as his.

Even though.. I'd like to see his hot muscles and abs.

"Please? Please Semmy" He turned me around and pulled me close to him by my waist which made me widen my eyes and my heart beat faster.

I softly placed my hand onto his chest as I watched those sweet puppy eyes. I could feel his soothing heartbeat underneath my hand.

Dang it.

"N-no Riv.." I gulped and tried to fight against this, but just the closeness between us had me in its hold and I still was a sucker for his puppy eyes.

"I will be with you and help you when you need me to. Please Sem? It's been a while. I will also give you chocolate when we get home" He winked at his last sentence, knowing another weakness of me.

My eyes widened at the mention of chocolate. "Deal!" I yelled loud.

A soft laugh left his mouth which made me smile. I loved to hear him laugh, it sounded just as good as my favorite song and the fact that I was the reason who made him laugh gave me an even better feeling.

"Okay let's go" He got up and grabbed both of our stuff together.

He had been here multiple times ever since we were little so of course a lot of his stuff was also here at my house.

"I'm too tired, let me sleep. I love my bed and I will marry with it" I moaned and rolled on my stomach.

"And what about me then?" River laughed.

"You are straight" I mentally rolled my eyes.

Stupid straight sport jocks.

I wish I could have River for my own, but I possibly couldn't change his sexuality for him and he would never see me the same way as I did yet I didn't want anyone else than River.

River and River only.

Even if he was gay, he wouldn't go for a boy like me; who doesn't have friends and is a nerd. I wasn't as beautiful, confident or amazing like he was. I was simply a nobody who got bullied for being himself at school.

"Yeah.. I was just joking. So are we going now? I also got your stuff" He said and changed the subject.

"Yes, on my way to my death" I whined and walked with him to his car, listening to his lovable laugh.

"Semmy, are you dressed? I've been waiting for twenty minutes! How long does it take for a dude to change in a freaking swimming trunk?" River yelled impatient.

Actually I was already dressed twenty minutes ago, but I didn't want to come out and get in the swimming pool. I'd rather just stay here and wait.

Eventually I put my anxiety aside and got out. I put my stuff in one of the lockers and pouted my lips, hoping he would say something along the lines of 'we are leaving'.

"I know what you are thinking, but no. The cute face won't work for me Sem. I'm going to help you swim" He smirked and grabbed my wrist, leading me towards the swimming pool.

Goosebumps spread all over my skin when he touched me and I tried my hardest to ignore all the good tingles inside of me.

He couldn't know.

The moment we reached the small stairs from the pool, I gulped and tried to lose my wrist so I could run to another country.

Great idea right? Let's go to Vegas.

"I'm not going in there River!" I freaked out.

"What? Why not? I will help you" He answered and looked at me.

"What if there are freaking octopuses in it?! The water will eat me alive River!" I whined and crossed my arms, trying not to shake from fear.

"Those are in an ocean Semmy" River laughed loud and hugged me tight. "Come on, I will take it easy on you" He grabbed my hand and made me sit on the side of the pool with my legs in the water.

I can't believe I was doing this right now, but I guess that's what love did to you.

The water against me felt pretty cold, but not all too cold. It was actually refreshing and comforting to me.

River got into the water and swam towards me, he suddenly surprised me with wrapping his arms around my waist.

Semmy don't freak out, don't freak out now.

HIS ARM IS AROUND MY WAIST, HOW CAN NOT FREAK OUT?!

"Okay relax Sem, I'm here. Slowly try to jump into the water. I promise I will catch you. All you gotta do is trust me" River told me while opening his arms for me.

I do trust you, you're my home.

I took a deep breath and looked at his gray eyes, losing myself in the progress. I could drown in his eyes whenever I wanted to. His eyes is what eventually convinced me.

I jumped into the water, grabbed River his shoulders tightly as I felt his arms wrap around my waist.

I don't know what happened, but in that moment we were close.

We were so close to one another that I could feel his breath on my skin. He tightened his grip around my waist and I kept my arms safely around his neck. My heart was beating loudly and my eyes found its way to his, and if I wasn't wrong, he had twinkles in his eyes and-

Holy shit.. He was looking at my lips.

Both of us were unconsciously and slowly leaning in and I couldn't help but freak out.

Was he about to kiss me?! Am I dreaming?

Please don't tell me I'm dreaming.

All of a sudden he pulled away from me and broke our eye contact, making my heart fall to the ground in rejection.

Of course he wouldn't kiss me.. He was straight and didn't like me.

"Uh.. Let's swim" He cleared his throat, still looking away from me.
