The report that will change it all
~writer here, this will be a short story written as one immensly long chapter. Enjoy! ^^~

I step out of the cab that brought me exactly where I asked him to go. Still, even though I was the one who asked him to I almost felt forced to go.
"Thanks." I paid the driver.
When the man had left I turned back to the building. Jellyfish Entertainment head department. I grip my bag around my shoulder.
I had my laptop, pen and paper for notes and the pass boss gave me to get in here. I walk to the glass doors getting stared at by several girls almost literally camping before the building.
'Aww, desperate.'
I show security the pass and go in. I mean, I know who Vixx was. I didn't have to look them up, but I never expected wild campers before their managing companies' doors.
On the other side, maybe I should have. Their name had raised quite a lot the past months being one of the reasons I'm here.
My boss thought it was time to test them. Kpop groups have been steamed ready from the beginning of my career to pass my judgment.
Why you ask? Because for some reason I seem to be the one that is able to steer people on that point. For example, whole Korea loves one song, but I think it ain't that great for a couple of reasons. I honestly write what I think and suddenly a month later whole Korea changes it's mind.
Saying; OMO how could I have liked this song, she is so right it's so bad, I hate all their numbers now! Bla bla bla.
And that while I never said I hated it and other should too. I just said what I thought.
I walk through the halls. I had been at Jellyfish Entertainment a couple of times before for other bands so I knew the way around here.
Everyone I passed started to whisper, wondering who the next victim was to the maker or breaker. My boss even called me his secret weapon.
My last report was actually about a group from Jellyfish. I didn't like them that much. Nothing special. So you might guess what happened to them.
A young girl passed me looking to the ground. She must be new here. She knew about me and was afraid to get broken down by me for looking wrong.
Seriously, people made me sound so much worse than I am though. While I walk Mr. Go joins me matching my pace.
"It's an honor to have you here again Kayla. Vixx has been looking forward to this moment very much and they have been very excited and nervous all day." I just give him a slight smile.
Don't get me wrong I like Mr. Go. He is good for his groups but I get this "they're so nervous they might say things they don't mean" kind of thing every time I come wherever I come.
Under the gaze of many other colleges of Vixx and Mr. Go we go towards the meeting room he stashed the boys to wait for me.
Before he opens the door he turns to me again. I straightened my monster hat and red hair out of habit while he once again put up a talk about please forgiving them if they said something wrong.
I already knew that talk too. "Don't worry Mr. Go, I won't be any harder on them then I am on others. If their cool their cool."
That doesn't seem to relax him though. He smiles awkwardly nodding probably worried sick about the future of his latest group.
When I enter it's like a whole group of five year olds have been playing with paper in this place. Only instead of a whole group, it was just the six members of Vixx. They didn't look that nervous at all.
A small paper plane flew my way going down fast. I catch it in my hand. Mr. Go clears his throat gaining the attention of the six boys.
"You got my plane." N says.
I can feel Mr. Go turn into a wreck more and more next to me.
"Boys, this is Kayla. The reporter from SETrules." I smile.
"Ow." Ravi stated now getting their managers behavior.
"Your plane wasn't really gonna make it far you know." I say putting my stuff on the paper engulfed table and taking a seat opposite Vixx. Origami, planes and simple folded paper was to be seen all over the room.
"Why not?" N asks.
I fold out the paper plane slightly. "You didn't cut the fold sharp enough right here." I show him.
I redo the plane slightly and hand it to him. They all eye me a little bit strange. "Throw it again. You'll see the difference." N did as I told and threw the paper plane again only this time it stayed in the air longer making fast and sharp turns.
"Awesome!" N says catching his plane again.
Mr. Go sat down on my side of the enormous glass table opposite Vixx. He signed the remaining boys that stood also to sit. "Miss Kayla, if you have any questions we would be glad to answer them."
I smile to myself. "That is the politest way I have ever heard someone ask me to get going already." He stressed out again.
Maybe I shouldn't tease the guy so much. I grab my pen and notes with some scribbled questions on it. "Before I start though did we agree on everything?" I ask Mr. Go.
He nods. "You will be following the boys around for a certain amount of time asking questions and watching. When your time is up you will write the article which will decide their future." I just nod back. Pretty much that.
"I read your articles you know. Before I debuted too. I read them from the start." Hyuk says.
"You did? Nice. So you might have a slight idea of what is going to come then." He probably doesn't.
"To be honest, I have no idea." Told ya so.
I smile. "Good. Cause if anyone knew how I judged the bands it wouldn't really be fair anymore would it." I wink.
I ready my pen and write down their names. "Well, I'm Kayla, just for the idea of it could you guys introduce to me?" I ask still writing.
They stand up like soldiers and bow. "We are V, Vixx." One by one they introduce on their own.
"I am Ravi." "Hyuk." "N, at your service." "Leo ma'am" "Hongbin." "And Ken."
In the same line I had their names on my note. Ravi, Hyuk, N, Leo, Hongbin, Ken.
"Thanks." They looked nervous. Not that I didn't get used to nervous faces before me over the last year but this time it was a little different.
This time I myself felt just slightly uneasy too. Mostly when I walked in the room I became Alfa asked for it or not but these guys seemed to level me. On top of that, I was right in front of the guy I had adored for years.
I used to listen to Vixx a lot. Especially Hyde and Voodoo doll. Or on and on. Anyway, my Bae had been Hyuk and when I heard he read my articles from the start I kind of felt a jolt.
I asked a couple of starter questions like what they expected from the future and where they themselves saw the band be in years from now.
I sigh and put down my pen. My hand was hurting a little from all the writing. "Well, that was it for now guys." I said as I slumped back in my chair.
They had given good answers. For once there was a band that didn't seem to do exactly as their public appearance agent had said to answer. Refreshing.
Mr. Go opened the door for me. The guys had a practice next up and I was invited to come and look so I could see them work. Of course I took the offer.
Not only for my job but also a little bit for me personally. For that fangirl I stashed away when I had to work. Inside she was screaming and jumping like crazy but as always I stayed professional.
Down stairs I found my way to the cafeteria. I bought myself a sandwich for lunch before I would go to their practice.
A girl with a smug face walked up to the table I was at and sat down like the glamor diva she looked like. Her clothes were almost all neon colors. So bright I almost needed glasses for them.
"So, your new at Jellyfish hu, you look like you just stepped right off the streets." I pull up a brow and swallow my piece of sandwich.
She must be pretty new herself. "You're quite right. I literally came in here from a street. Very clever of you, haven't met anyone who could have guessed that before." She looks insulted and rolls her eyes.
"You are so never gonna make it here in Jellyfish Entertainment. I will personally make sure you don't you little fagot." She spoke on a low tone leaning towards me.
"Sounds like fun. Now I gotta go, let me thank you for your time and try not to let you waist any more of mine. I'm gonna get out of here." I hoist my bag on my shoulder and walk away still eating my sandwich.
After a little search party I found the room Vixx was practicing in. I sighed with relieve. If I would have busted into EXO's room again yelling the judge was here I would have died of shame.
Whole EXO had looked so stressed out. Not crazy if a bitch that can destroy your career walks in like that without warning anyone. And that while they only came to train at Jellyfish for one day!
Mr. Go immediately led me to a seat in a corner near the mirror wall. It looked like a huge class for ballet. Logical, the mirror wall would make them self-conscious hens more straightness and perfection.
Their choreographer had put on Hyde and immediately I had a hard time keeping my mouth shut.
I loved Hyde. They did every single move correct sometimes slight flaws and little corrections. But this is what I had expected.
Why did everybody make the same mistakes? I didn't wanted to see how good they danced on songs they danced a million times. I wanted to see them make mistakes and get corrected while they sweat at new moves.
The whole thing that would let you pass with me mainly was the fact if you had the guts to just keep the same schedule as before you knew I would come. If you would show me you didn't care I was here but you would work anyway as hard as always for the oncoming shows.
That, to me, showed they have the spirit to make something of this band. I sigh and note my thoughts.
Dance moves on Hyde get practiced. Pretty much flawless. Nothing else.
Suddenly while I write I hear one of the boys stop them all. The choreographer turns off the music. "What is it Hyuk?" He asks.
"I want to practice the new song. Don't you guys?" He asked his team.
"I do." Hongbin said looking at Mr. Go for permission as the rest nodded or said yes too.
Mr. Go turned to me almost looking like he asked me permission. Step up man! I could have screamed YES! As loud as possible excited to be one of the first to hear their new song.
"Don't look at me! Your their manager mate not me." I say to him instead innocently keeping up my hands.
The choreographer spoke up. "They could use the training sir. They have to practice more and get more in sync with each other yet." Mr. Go finally decided it was alright and on went the training.
Their new song was awesome and I had a real hard time not to give up on judging them and just swoon in the music and enjoy the show.
But seeing I couldn't do that I kept my concentration on them. If I wanted or not though my eyes kept on hovering back to Hyuk.
Great, just great. Looking nice and unprofessional Kayla. Mr. Go had been watching me like a hawk all the time so no doubt he had seen it.
Eventually though it took them a little they got the hang of their new moves and they went smoother then before. Suddenly I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket. I take it out and look at caller ID.
My boss. "Kayla." I say picking up while I write about the practice again.
"You got some useful stuff yet?" He asks.
"Useful for what exactly?" I ask already knowing what he meant. But I could hardly say I could destroy Vixx with Mr. Go next to me listening in.
I wasn't planning on destroying them unless they deserved it but I liked to play it like that with my boss. He was always completely fixated on destroying bands. Don't ask me why.
"To take that group of girly girls out of course!" He said slightly losing his patience.
"Their guy's sir. I think you have me mixed up with another reporter." I push him further.
"Stop joking Kayla you know very well what I mean. I can hand you your ass whenever I want to so you better think of that." He threatens. "So, I take you will bust their balls within this week right?"
"Sir my job is not to "bust their balls" as you like to say so politely but to judge them from a teenager perspective." I say getting annoyed myself. "And if you would have wanted to fire me you for my behavior I would have been on the streets months ago. You need me so don't hand me that shit." I hung up on him.
Well that's gonna cost me the employee of the month award and a firm talk next week. But it was worth it. I put my phone away again.
Mr. Go had left half way the conversation. Might have been better too.
The training was over and now there was a break. The guys went to shower and then would go back to their dorm from Jellyfish.
I wait against the wall close by their changing room. No I wasn't going to be a pervert. I wanted to day thanks for today and see you tomorrow or something.
As I waited I could hear the showers turn off and Mr. Go talking. "For weeks after weeks you guys have been training with a coach to behave in the right way and when she finally arrives you do exactly the opposite! Don't you think a man that studied Kayla's way of working from the beginning would know how she wants you to behave?! And then the practice of just now. I had warned all of you to stay at Hyde and skip the new one. For one day." And so he goes on.
He kind of disappointed me. I got why he got mad but though he didn't realize it I was happy with the band taking initiative.
They showed character. They themselves were on the right way. It was just the question if they would let themselves get manipulated by Jellyfish to do different or not.
Deep in thoughts I didn't realize they had all left the dressing room. I stand up from the wall and bow to them. "Thanks for having me. I will be back tomorrow, make sure to eat all your dinner." I joke. "You need it seeing the new routine you practiced.
Was that a too big of a hint they did well?
They bow back. "It was nice having you." Ravi said smiling.
"We'll order dinner tonight." Ken said. "We need some good food." He sounded like he made himself and his team mates out for bad cooks so I laughed.
They laughed with me while Ravi and Ken started to fake fight. Hyuk was the first to talk again. "Hey, would you like to join us for dinner?" He asks.
He got me by total surprise and my fangirl went to space to pass out there. I blink a few times.
"Y-Yeah. I would love to. If you guys don't mind." I was a reporter after all.
They all nodded. "Yeah, you should come." Leo said strangling Ravi. The now free Ken grabbed my shoulder. "You're a cool girl Kayla. Just come, you'll have fun I promise." I smile.
"Fine. I'll come." I decide and they practically drag me with them while they talk joyfully.
The Vixx apartment was huge equipped with expensive stuff. Hopefully for Jellyfish not easily breakable. To my surprise the apartment was clean.
They throw everything down and settle on their couch. Hyuk leads me to them and sets me down next to him. "So what do we order?" N asks.
They all think. "Sushi?" Leo asks.
"What about a whole bunch of hamburgers?" Ravi said.
"Or pizza." I say. They all turn to me.
"You said we needed to eat healthy and then you suggest pizza?" Hongbin asks surprised.
I smile. "Like hamburgers are healthy." Ravi pouts. "But I never said 'eat healthy' I said to eat all your dinner." Hyuk laughs.
"Everyone agrees for pizza?" He asks his team mates.
They all stick up their hands and with an hour later we all eat slices of pizza.
We all laugh when one by one they make weird faces and take pictures of each other doing so. Suddenly Hyuk pulls me close and makes a weird face.
Instinctively I follow. Before I know we have a selfie with us making weird faces and laughing.
The boys even asked my number to send them all to me. They placed some on twitter and Facebook for needed social media and went back to their food.
Within an hour all the pizzas were gone and all that was left from it were some edges, dirty napkins and empty pizza boxes.
We laughed a lot and I felt like I had been out with a group of friends. I had been me when I laughed with them instead of the Kayla ready to observe and write down everything.
"Well, this was awesome but I think it's time for me to go back home also. Thanks for this guys." I stand up to get my coat.
Hyuk hurriedly follows me. He takes my coat from me and held it up. Thankfully I put my arms in. "You should really come again. We had a lot of fun, I liked you being here with us."
My heart sped up and I felt a blush creep up to my face. "Maybe we should do it again." I say a little hesitant in how to react. "I see you guys tomorrow again." Hyuk nods.
"Till tomorrow then." I avoid his eyes.
"G'night guys!" I yell past Hyuk. Several Goodnights returned before I left.
Walking outside with a fresh breeze in my face I thought of what just all happened. I unlocked my phone and scrolled through the pictures send to me by the guys.
Suddenly I see one that I didn't know. I look at who send it. Ravi.
It was a picture of me laughing with the others also sitting on the ground and Hyuk next to me. On the picture I didn't seem to notice and seeing I couldn't remember either I presumed I indeed didn't notice.
Hyuk looked at me smiling. He looked happy and content while he did so. I blushed again at the thought of Hyuk staring at me like that but the fangirl inside me was having a major party.
My teenage crush and Vixx bae looked at me like that. That had been all I dreamed of when I was younger.
Under neat that picture Ravi had written something. 'He is more interested in you then you think, and I think the other way around too. Come back soon! ;) X Ravi
I smile. Thanks Ravi. I put on my IPod and play on and on from Vixx. Maybe I should pick up my old obsession again.
The next day I once again go to Jellyfish Entertainment head department to meet up with the guys. I wait inside in the lobby where we would meet after their vocal practice.
I scribbled some new questions that had come up and out of boredom drew Vixx's logo next to it.
Suddenly my blue monster hat gets snatched from my head messing up my red hair. Dyed red, not redhead for your info.
I stand up angry and turn around to see Ravi with my hat on his purple blue hair.
"Good morning Kayla." N says sitting on the couch next to the spot I was a second ago.
I unconsciously look for Hyuk but he's talking to a girl a little away. That girl that threatened me even!
I stick out my hand to Ravi. "Give me, that hat. Now." I say angry. There's no messing with a girls hat.
No girl wears a hat for no reason. Mr. Go joined in. When he saw the scene before him he immediately went in. "Ravi give that back and apologize immediately."
Ravi returned the hat and I put it back on. "Sorry." He says slightly timid.
"Not slept?" Leo asked.
"I'm fine. I say grabbing my bag." I didn't even knew why I was so mad in the first place.
Mr. Go called for Hyuk to come and so we all went to their next place. They had a big interview today which I was allowed to attend.
Mr. Go prepped the boys for the press and their questions in the back while I looked through a small split between the doors.
A few people I knew from other businesses and boss had even send one of SETrules so to see.
I turn back to Vixx. Why do feel hurt looking at Hyuk? I can't like him like that. Can I? Again?
Mr. Go gets me out of my thinking state. "Miss Kayla, there is a seat for you to. At the right side of the table at the head so you can attend. We arranged it so that there will be no questions asked to you but you will not be able to ask questions yourself either." I nod.
"That's fine. If I have any I'll ask them later." I smile at him. He seemed to calm down a little. Finally.
Ken grabbed my hand and placed it for and high five. One for one they all gave me and Mr. Go, who stood opposite me on the other side of the door, an high five as they went in.
I followed as last seeing they walked up on the small podium from the right. All taking place behind their own name plate I sat down at the head on the right.
The media started their endless sounding spur of questions for the boys while I just nodded what I thought I might be able to use later on in my own piece.
After an hour they still weren't done. I was happy Mr. Go made sure they couldn't ask me questions though.
As you might think why would they well, having a rising band and a famous report writer together at a question table gives nice opportunities to ask both of them questions which in my case I never did and that the boys were all single and so was I didn't really help their media personality calm down either.
They all yelled their questions through each other but always seemed to let one go and ask instead of themselves. I never understood how that worked.
Like they have a radar in their head who will pick up who yelled first so they need to shut up to let that person talk.
This time it was a woman with black sleek hair. "So Han Sunghyuk, you have been spotted several times with some girls but you keep denying any relations between yourself and them don't you get enough of playing that game?" She asks rudely.
"I don't actually seeing it's not a game at all." He answers smiling.
He answered way better then I would have done. Which is one of the reasons I never give interviews. To anyone.
The next man got his turn immediately bouncing back on that question like vultures that smelled fresh pray. "So you deny any relationship with any of the other Kpop girls. Does that mean you already have a relation with someone else?"
They keep their pens ready to write and I should do the same but I am too fixated on Hyuk next to me and what he will answer.
"Actually," my heart stings at the idea of him and glamor bitch. "I don't have a relationship but-"
"But you are interested?" The man pressures. "Only one question a person please!" Their media manager yells from the side.
"It's okay." Hyuk says. He turns back to the man. "I am interested in a girl. I have been for a long time but it was kind of like what our fans experience I think. You see her from afar and she doesn't have any idea that you exist at all." He looks a little like he thinks of the girl he talks about right now.
I squeeze my pen almost to breaking point. I don't want to hear him talk about her. Everything he said matched with him and him meeting that threatening glamor witch. I had read something a while back about him and her.
Hyuk talked on. "She has style and how she can smile while she doesn't know how cute she is herself."
I close my eyes trying to stay strong. How did all these feelings flood back in two single days after all those years? I thought it was a silly teenage crush but was it more or did it develop into more when I really met him?
Suddenly I feel something around my fingers. I look up at Hyuk. He smiled at me indirectly only giving me a glance.
He wrapped his entire hand around mine and I let him making my heart beat faster. His hand was so big compared to my own. I see N and Leo smile at each other and Ravi and Ken do a little handshake.
I wanted to believe he meant it. That he was talking about me but I knew better. He might have been talking about me but not because he really liked me.
Ravi had seen I liked Hyuk. They must have guessed and are trying to use it. Trying to make it seem like he liked me too so I would give them a report that would praise them.
I look at Hyuk. Silently I try to pry my fingers away from his after allowing him to engulf them.
Reluctantly he lets them go while the media tried to get more answers out of him but he refused and Mr. Go concluded the interview for today.
I was the first to stand up and leave. I waited in the corner of the room Vixx would be in in seconds.
I just have to forget it. I tried to calm myself down still clenching the notebook in my arms. The boys entered with Mr. Go.
An awkward silence filled the room. While Mr. Go told them what was next on their schedule I felt Hyuk and the others steal glances at me.
I had to get away for now. I looked up smiling like nothing had happened. "Well, I have what I need for today so I think I'll go home and start on my report. It isn't written at once." I grab my bag and stash my notes in it.
"Wait, Kayla!" I hear Hyuk say as he stands up but I left the room already.
I go down the hall towards the elevator but that just opened getting filled with other people. Avoiding the packed elevator not feeling like being surrounded by people right now I take a right and go towards the barely used stairs.
I push open the door and go down the stairs. I didn't care that was on the fifth floor.
One floor down me hear the door two stairs above me. I just keep walking. I just want to go home and eat chocolate getting this silly crush out of my head. I wished it was a silly crush.
On top of that I still had to write a report on Vixx and right now I didn't feel like promoting them at all.
They used me, or tried to. Making Hyuk say he liked me to get all of them in my favor. I mean, which girl would break down her own boyfriend's band right?
Which girl could even do that? They probably would have kept me around for a while and after a month he'd throw me out like trash.
Even if I had said anything about it then in an report or anything I would have just sounded like a mad ex-girlfriend.
My wrist gets gripped and I turn around too look who it is. Before me stands Hyuk holding my wrist.
"Kayla.." He looks almost pleading. "Please hear me out."
I look at the ground. "So you can tell me what?" I ask not meeting his eyes.
He carefully put his hand on my cheek but I pull back. He looks hurt. "Look at me." He tried again but this time I looked at him.
"You might not want to hear it but I was telling the truth back there. I like you Kayla. I always have. I liked you in your reports from the beginning. I liked you when I saw you on TV filmed by media and I liked you when I met you for real two days ago." I look in his eyes looking for any sign of lies.
I couldn't see any. "Please Kayla, I want to be together with you more. I love you."
I can't say anything. Can I trust him? He drops his hand and breaks our gaze. "I'm sorry. I won't tell you ever again." He turns around.
I loved that guy. That guy that looked like a sad boy right now. His eyes looked so sincere when he said he loved me.
It hadn't been a plan of Vixx to get a good report on their band, he really did love me.
I grab his arm this time and turn him around towards me. I hug him surprising him as I did.
"Please tell me your not lying." I hear him snicker.
"I'm not." He wraps his arms around my waist. "The guys even saw I liked you before I did. They pushed me into realizing it Kayla." I smile and slightly let go of him so I can look him in the eyes.
"So that's what Ravi was up to when he send me that text." I look back at Hyuk.
"So does this mean you like me too, Kayla?" He asks carefully.
I smile as I cover his eyes with my hands and kiss him. When we separate I take my hands away.
"What do you think?" He smiles back a glint of happiness in his eyes.
There we were confessing on an iron platform between two floors and some stairs.
"I will still write an honest report about Vixx though." I say. "Doesn't matter who you are I won't write lies."
He pulls me in closer. "I expect nothing less from you Kayla. Whatever happens after you wrote the report to Vixx will happen, no one will blame you." He kisses me again.
"Shouldn't we get back to the rest?" Hyuk asks.
"Uum, yeah about that, I can hardly go back now can I. After I already said I left for the day." I replace my bag on my shoulder.
"Then come to our place this evening. I'll tell the guys and we can celebrate and have some fun. The others would love to have you too Kayla." I nod.
"Fine. I'll be there around six." He squeezes my hand before letting go and jolting back upstairs.
Once outside I realize he might get trouble for dating someone seeing their contract forbids them to. But I am too happy and relieved though also feel a little awkward for convesing after I bolted out like that and on a staircase of all things.
I became the drama queen I never wanted to be. The smile growing on my face was an irreplaceable one.
Han Songhyuk was mine from now on and it still felt unreal. I guess you get used to it after a while.
That evening I went to Vixx their apartment owned by Jellyfish. I felt just a little nervous as I knocked on their door.
N opened towering over me with a smile. Ravi was right behind him with a mischievous smile.
I straighten my monster hat and fold my arms. "I guess you guys have been guilty of this all the time am I right?"
"Maybe." N says.
I smile. "Well I don't have to thank you either then." I say passing them as I walk inside.
"Wow wow!" They close the door and stop before me again. "We want to be thanked by the maker or breaker!" Ravi says.
"Yeah! Your more famous then we are you know." My smile slightly fades.
Please don't bring up the report. "We want hamburgers!" They say in unison.
I laugh loudly grabbing the attention from Leo, Ken, Hongbin and Hyuk too. Ravi, N and I walk in the living room.
"You got yourself a deal. Hamburgers it is." They cheer.
Hyuk comes next to me. He intertwines our fingers. "I told them about it as you might guess." He snickers.
"He is the youngest but one of the first to have a girlfriend." Leo says.
"A famous stone hard reporter girlfriend." Hongbin says.
Hyuk proudly puts an arm around my shoulders. But now that the report has been brought up I thought it might be the moment to tell them what my plan was.
"Guys," I say grabbing their attention again. "About the report, I will still write it. I talked about it with Hyuk and I will write my honest opinion about Vixx. Good or bad." They look at each other and then nod.
"We won't blame you for anything Kayla. Your Hyuk's girl now after all." Ken says sweetly.
I smile relieved with how good they take it. I hadn't expected them to ask of me to write a great report but I was happy that they actually didn't.
"Well, my turn to thank you guys then I think. Hamburger time."
I stayed there the whole evening laughing like we did before and talking. They told me funny stories showing every move loud and clear with wide gestured on the table.
From then on Hyuk and I started dating and though we had a hard time spending time together seeing my time around them was over and I would get a new job soon we did well and we recently had our first month anniversary.
My report had gone public two weeks ago and I felt good about it. I had been honest and clear and it turned out all positive. The people seemed to like Vixx more then ever which only made them more busy but it felt good in a curtained way.
Hyuk hands me and the others our drinks while we all watch a movie together. Suddenly my phone buzzes just as Hyuk got installed behind me on the couch again with me leaning against him.
I grab it and read the text I got from my boss. Leo pauses the movie. "What is it Kayla?"
"I got my new assignment." I say.
"Who is it?" Hyuk asks as I feel all of Vixx their eyes on me.
"A girl from Jellyfish." I say. The guys cheer.
"You will be closer again Kayla, great." Ravi said happily.
"Who do you got to report on?" Hongbin asks.
"A girl named, Boona from IceHearts?" I half state half ask hoping they knew who she was.
"Isn't that that girl that had the hots for Hyuk Leo?" N asks Leo.
"She is. She always treats the newbies badly and only wears neon like clothes and jewelry." He said.
A smirk crawls up my face now I know who they mean. It's the fagot from the canteen.
"What happened to staying honest Kayla?" Ravi asked joking.
"Ow I will be honest. She will get it real hard though."
N kicks back and puts his feet on the table and his hands behind his head. "That's what you get when you get on our Kayla's bad side. No touching her boyfriend."
The all smile. They had gotten to know me even better in this past month.
Hyuk pulled my shin up so I looked at him. "She never had a change anyway," I smile content that he doesn't fall for bitches. "I don't like neon."
We all laugh as I pout a little at Hyuk who fooled me. He wants to kiss me but before he can we get comments all over.
"Get a room." "Stop making me jealous!" And "No kissing in public!".
Hyuk turns to the guys. "If you don't want to see it the close your eyes. He pecks me on the lips.
The guys make some joking disgusted noises, we laugh and Leo starts the movie again.
I don't think my life could get any better.
