"Laroara!" A child voice echoed in her mind
"Come play with us!"
"I-I can-n't" her voice sound weak and higher pitch . It's her voice when she was young.
"Yes you can come on!" A older much boy voice that was deeper and manlier.
She remember hiding her arm that was sore.
" I-I feel in to the bushes again and got cut, but it's just sore I'll just sit out" she said that look to the side to see her father glare at her ,but back. then she never notice it really. she didn't notice till she look back.
Her sisters and brother came to her and her oldest brother look at her arm and they all grasped.
I  remember gulping down the tears that burned her eyes like poison that was help back, the drop of her heart at there horrified eyes.
"What happened?" The question was faded.
The memory was fading. Everything was till it was black and she could hear her friends shouting her name and rough hands around her shoulder and waist. the hand  at the shoulder had a sharp blade right at her neck. She wasn't fazed by it at all. She didn't have an emotion that she let out. She knew she would cry and scream till she could no more if she did.
She could handle this and the memory that echoed in her mind she had to push everything out to keep from falling about.
- before capture-
Lora, Chase, and Jason were walking to the town. Chase had his cloak over his head to make sure Alex's and his families won't see him, specially one of Alex's sister and his siblings. Lora and Jason just thought he was doing it so that that no one would notice him.
They still had learned much about Chase. Chase was more closed up then Alex, almost like how Laroara was-no is . Lora mentally corrected.
Loroara was still a mystery to both of them , no matter how long they knew her . she was a closed book to then.
Chase was the same way. Specially when Laroara wasn't around, and usually when Alex wasn't around.
Lora had a theory that Chase was more relaxed with Laroara because he could sense that he and she wasn't that much different from one another. Jason had a theory to but he wasn't sure won't tell anyone. Not even Lora.
Chase had his scent covered so other shifters won't pick it up unless they tried really hard and focused on it long enough.
Once they got threw the gates chase tensed up even more with familiar smells, cite, and people. He pulled his hood further down.
Jason looked around the old town. it mostly looked like a camp cite with how the big buildings with most supports and protection was surrounding the middle with little displays around them. he couldn't see the middle but he bet there was a fire place there. the houses were a few meters away from them displays ,some more sturdy then others ,but it looked like everyone had a home,food, and water. They all were kind to one another put stayed away from new people just keeping to them selfs. It was like they were all link together and that some had weapons like Alex had and the 'tattoo' that chase hid under his shirt that Jason saw once when he shifted.
Lora didn't notice the similarities that the people have with her new friend, nor did she notice how everyone in this town was heathy , barely any sick or hungry , or the fact that everyone from the town stay together and as far from the travelers as possible.
They were all doing good about not drawling attention them till Lora tripped over a fallen basket from one have the towns people.
The woman look at Lora and help her up saying ," So sorry miss I didn't mean to drop that." while picking up her items that fell out of the basket. So Lora felt guitly for falling on some of it so she help the hooded lady.
While was walking look for some supplies he saw Lora talking on of his family member. He froze not knowing what to do but stand.
When Lora look up at a frozen chase who looked like he was about to have a panic attack she ask ," hey chase what's wrong?" At that the woman look up with a smiled .
"Big brother your back!" She got up and tackled Chase in a bear hug leaving everyone who lived in the village to freeze and look at Chase and welcomes home there missed townsboy.
After that they were brought to Chase's home to meet his family, soon after that the raid attack alarm when of and groups of shifters and hunts when to chase the unfortunate Laroara and Alex down.
