(video camera turns on in Lizzy's room)

Lizzy: Hi guys, welcome to Monday. It's been a relatively peaceful day with no unexpected surprises. My brothers have been playing games most of the day and I have been lazy, extremely lazy. So in order to make this journal interesting, I am going to tell you the story of how James came to live with us. Now for the record, James gave me permission to share this story so I'm good. I won't get into any trouble. Let's see...where to begin?...Okay, I got it!

Jarod and James first met in elementary school and at that point James wasn't too talkative. He didn't want to be around the other kids so he did his own thing. Jarod was very persistent, however, and wanted to be friends with James. It took a very long time but they managed to become very good friends. One day, James told Jarod that his parents were actually abusive and showed him the marks that he got from beatings. Jarod, being the obedient son he was and is now, told Mom and Dad of what was happening to James. So they decided to get James away from his parents as quickly as possible. But...James' parents weren't too willing to let their son go so easily. That led up to court cases and a lot of interesting things that happened. I won't go into the details because I honestly don't remember. Anyway, my parents won custody of James after a few years of fighting and he's been living here ever since. I've never complained because I got another brother! Plus, it's way more fun with those two in the house.

Jarod: (yells) Hey man, you're being cheap!

James: (yells) No I'm not! I'm just playing the game. You gotta get better!

Jarod: (yells) Oh, I'll get better all right! Time to go into All Out Battle Mode!!!!!

Lizzy: Do you guys see why I'm comfortable with my roommates? They act so much like my brothers. It's honestly a bit bizarre. Anyway, thanks for watching and I apologize that today's journal is a bit short. See you guys tomorrow for more fun!

(turns video camera off)
