~*~ My Word Translation Comment Goes Here ~*~

((This chapter right here is going to be lightly proofread because I am very exhausted. I've been proofreading the last 3 chapters all day. I started proofreading at around 10 AM, it's currently 8:39 PM when I'm proofreading my last chapter.))

(ugh the things I'd do to beat a deadline.)

(would like it if you point out spelling errors to fix later-)

-Mono POV-

I woke up in the right back corner of the bedroom, sunlight was shining through the window. My arms and legs were tied up with rope and my backpack was nowhere to be been.

I also realized my paper bag was back on, they were kind enough to put it back on me.

My head still hurts from being whacked on the head with some metal object.

"He's awake." I heard Six said. I looked up at the bed to see Six and Seven staring down at me. I looked down at the floor, trying not to make eye contact with them.

I heard both of them walk towards me, then I heard them stop. I knew if I looked up I would be looking straight at them.

-Third Person (but kinda in Mono's POV.)-

"Look up at me, Mono." Seven said.

Mono kept looking down.

"You're... You're not in trouble." Seven said, "Kinda." he added on in a whisper.

"If I can hear that kinda, he heard that kinda too." Six whispered to Seven.

"Mono, We're just going to have that talk. Any hostility is only because we care about your well-being." Six said calmly.

Mono looked up at them, "What do you want?" He said.

"I want you to be honest with us, how long have to been taking those pills." Seven asked.

"Ever since I got my hands on my first pill, it was around the time I first arrived in this place. So I've been taking them for 5 years. " Mono explained, "I of course kept refilling my stock of Happy Pills by stealing more. I knew three residents in the town who took Happy Pills so I knew exactly where to steal them. I had to go for the smaller containers for some obvious reasons-"

"How many times a day do you take the pills." Seven asked.

"One pill every three days." Mono said nervously.

Seven took out a pill bottle, Mono got excited but immediately calmed down once he saw it was empty.

"Well, it does say the most you can take is a pill every three days." Seven said, he put the bottle back into his pocket. "But you obviously been taking them more than that."

"What makes you think that?" Mono asked.

"Oh, I don't know. The fact tried to manipulate and attack me to get the pills and then went all insane when you finally got the pills? Also you looked all crazy under the mask."

"Wow, face-shaming. You think I'm ugly?" Mono said, half-jokingly.

"That's not what I meant-" Six said. "You just don't look normal- This situation isn't normal at all!"

"Says the girl who has a hunger curse," Mono said.

Six took a deep breath and exhaled. "Mono." She said.

"Please tell us the truth about how many pills you eat or else I'll have to use extreme measures." Six said, sounding very serious.

"Extreme measures- Six?!" Seven said.

"Quiet, Seven." Six said.

"Oh, whatcha gonna do? I can take anything." Mono said.

"You know what, it'll get you talking once you see the threat right in front of you~" Six said, walking out the room.

Six walked back in with all his pills and a piece of paper towel.

Six put the paper towel down and opened up all three of the pill bottles and poured them onto the towel.

"This is supposed to be my threat? Pills? You are aware I love these, right?" Mono said.

"Oh, but the fact you love it is the point..." Six said, smiling.

"Six, please don't do anything crazy." Mono said.

Six finished pouring all the pills onto the paper towel, she stood up and hovered her foot over the pills.

"Tell the truth or else I'll crush all your pills." Six said.

"W-Woah! Calm down there, n-no need to be so demanding-" Mono said.

"You know, count down! Spit it out or else the pills get it." Six said.

"What?" Mono said.

"10" Six began.

"Hey, wait!"

"9"

"Stop it!"

"8"

"Seven, do something!"

"7"

"Six, stop it! This is crazy!" Mono said.

"6"

"These things are precious to me, don't do this!"

"5"

"Six, if you destroy them I won't be able too..." Mono broke off from the sentence.

"4"

"Please..."

"3"

"..."

"2"

"Twice a day." Mono finally admitted.

"What?" Six said.

"I take a pill twice a day, everytime the pill begins to wear off I take it." Mono said.

"W- That's way too much!" Seven said.

"I have to! I can't live without those pills, those things allow me to have the happiness I could never give myself." Mono explained.

"W-Why?" Six asked.

"Ha! Do you actually think I liked this stupid place, this place is horrible. Do you think I like being stuck here? This place is a hellhole, only pain and misery rises from this place. Happiness is a gift only few hold, and usually not for long. Seven is a special case. You, Six, are a mere newbie who has yet to see the horrors. The rest of us fall into despair, the pills are the only things keeping me from falling into complete madness and insanity like the rest of them." Mono said.

"Who is 'them'?" Seven asked.

"Ha, the children who you can probably not call children anymore. The children who went insane." Mono said.

"Did this all happen in Pastel Town- The place where it was all bright and colorful. Did you see the insane children there?" Six asked.

"No." Mono said.

"Then how'd see all the madness stuff you're talking about?" Seven asked.

Mono began laughing, "you guys are idiots." he managed to say while laughing.

"What?" Six said.

"DO YOU REALLY THINK I SPENT 5 YEARS IN THE SAME PLACE FOR NO REASON? I EXPLORED." Mono screamed at them. "I EXPLORED FARTHER THAN I ADMITTED, I EXPLORED TOO FAR AND SAW THE TERRORS."

"I WENT INTO A TOWN GOING THE OPPOSITE WAY WE WENT. THE PART OF TOWN IS WHAT I CALL 'MADNESS LANE', THERE WERE SO MANY DEAD BODIES OF CHILDREN. THEY WERE EVERYWHERE, ON THE STREETS, HUNGED UP INSIDE VARIOUS STORES. I-I WONDERED INTO A FACTORY AND THERE WAS AN INFINATE SEA OF DEAD BODIES IN THE STORAGE ROOM." Mono took a breath becoming continuing, "IN ONE OF THE ROOMS, I SAW A MAN ATTACHING DEAD BODIES OF CHILDREN TO MARIONETTE CONTROLLERS- THOSE THINGS THEY USE TO CONTROL PUPPETS."

"I RAN OUT OF THAT PLACE AS FAR AS I COULD. THE CHILDREN I MET IN THAT TOWN WERE INSANE, ALL THE CHILD HAD ALMOST NO MIND. OUT OF TOUCH WITH THE WHOLE WORLD. I WOULD OFTEN SEE CHILDREN SUCIDING BY EITHER ACCIDENT OR PURPOSE, I'VE SEEN CHILDREN WALK RIGHT INFRONT OF A CAR WITH THEIR HEADS DOWN. OBIVOUS TO WHAT'S AROUND THEM."

"OTHERS I'VE COME ACROSS CHILDREN REPEATEDLY STABBING THEMSELVES IN THE GUTS OVER AND OVER AGAIN. ONES THAT ARE TRYING TO KILL THEMSELVES CAN BARELY MOVE OR THINK, THEY MIND AS WILL BE DEAD. I WAS SCARRED INTO STAYING IN HAPPY OI' PASTEL TOWN."

"One day, I was becoming just like them, losing my mind, then when it was almost too late the happy pills saved me. They're the only thing keeping me sane." Mono said, "So please... I need them..."

Honestly, Six and Seven had no clue what to think of this.

Seven knew the pills were seriously harming him and if he continued eating them in such a time span he would eventually die. They both knew this, as Seven told Six.

But Mono was truly suffering.

What's the right choice?

"Ah, jeez. This is a hard choice." Seven said, "Look. If you keep eating them every time they wear off you'll kill yourself- Heck, if you're eating them more than once every three days you're still really harming yourself. This really isn't good for you, they're weakening you."

"I don't care." Mono said, "If I can live happily I'll do whatever it takes, who cares if it's shortening my lifespan by the minute."

"Okay, let's do this." Six began, "You'll eat the pills once every three days. In the meantime you'll act like were your therapists. You talk to us about what's bothering you when something is wrong. Communication is just as good as your happy pills."

"Fine, can I have my happy pill?" Mono asked.

"...No." Six said.

"Why not?" Mono asked.

"Well, you had one yesterday- Yes you've been out the whole night." Six said.

"Yeah, I can judge by the sunlight. But why not give me a pill just to start me off?" Mono asked.

"Well, the last pill you ate was the one to start you off." Six said.

"But- But!" Mono said, "This isn't fair!"

"Mono, we're trying to help you." Seven said, "and while at it, we're trying to be as fair as possible."

"Just give me my pill, please! Just one last time before we start, It'll mark when the road to recovery starts! JUST GIVE ME THE PILLS!" Mono whined, about to have a temper tantrum.

"NO. YOU WILL NOT GET THE PILLS." Six yelled, "THAT'S FINAL!"

"NO!" Mono yelled.

Six and Mono argued for 30 minutes, going back and forth. Seven just watched this all go down.

"fine..." Mono said, tired of yelling. "You win."

"Glad to see you finally understand." Six said, smiling.

"mhm..." Mono said.

Six put the pills lying on the paper towel back in the bottles and then untied the ropes trapping Mono.

"Can I have that empty pill bottle?" Mono asked.

"Um, sure. It's empty so I don't see why not." Seven handed Mono the empty pill bottle.

"Hehe, thank you~" Mono said, he then grabbed the paper towel the pills were on.

"Uh, you're welcome?" Seven said.

"Hey." Six said, she handed Seven a filled up happy pill bottle. Seven took it.

"Just hold on to it, we of course can't trust Mono with them." Six said, putting a happy pill bottle in her pocket.

"Alright." Seven said.

They looked back at Mono to see the paper towel the pills were on covered with spit from him licking it, Mono was now trying to lick the insides of the empty pill bottle. Hoping he'll come across the tiniest of pill crumbs. He was licking the pill bottle from under his paper bag.

"Uhm..." Six said.

"Just let him do it, there's nothing in there anyway. I made sure to clean it out fully." Seven said.

"Okay." Six said. Six looked out the window then back at Mono. "Mono, we should start moving now."

"mmm, are we still going to the hospital?" Mono asked.

"No, we're just passing by it now." Six said.

"After we pass by the hospital, I won't be able to guide you anymore since that's as far as I went." Seven said, "We'll just have to keep going east."

"mmm, I think I know what comes after the town..." Mono said as he licked the bottle.

"Really? How come you didn't tell us sooner?" Six asked.

"... Didn't feel like it..." Mono said.

"That's a bad excuse but I'll take it because I'm too tired to fight more." Six said "Okay, what comes after the town?"

"I believe it's The Mawful Maw." Mono recalled. "At least I heard."

"Where do you hear this stuff?" Seven asked.

"From children I've came across from my years of being here." Mono explained, "I talked with people and did stuff, I didn't just keep to myself for all those years. If I did I would of went insane even with the pills."

"Okay." Seven said.

"Well, let's get moving. We'll try to find food along the way." Six said.

"Maybe check the kitchen before we go out searching the streets for food." Mono suggested, he put the empty pill bottle into his trench coat pocket. "It's an old abandoned building but there could be some food left behind we could eat."

"If it's not rotten." Seven added.

"Eh, if it's rotten we could try to eat the good bits." Mono said.

"And get diseases." Seven added.

"Okay Dr. Seven." Mono said, rolling his eyes. "Let's go check the kitchen and then leave already."

The three went straight into the kitchen, the kitchen was very dirty. Six quickly noticed a sliced bread loaf in a plastic bag on the counter. The bread was moldy though.

"Hey, up there!" Six said, pointing to the bread, "But uh, it doesn't look good at all."

"There's our food." Mono said.

"Mono, it's moldy bread." Seven said.

"Still food." Mono said as he went over to grab a kitchen stool and drag it over to the counter with the bread. "We don't know how moldy it is."

"Uh, if we can see the mold from down here it must be pretty moldy." Six said, "If it is as moldy as I expect I'm not eating it."

Mono dragged the stool over to the counter with the bread, he climbed up onto the stool and got onto the counter. He brushed some dust off the plastic bag the bread loaf was in and threw the bag of bread onto the floor.

Mono climbed down and ripped open the plastic bag containing the bread.

It was moldy. However two of the bread slices were only a small bit moldy.

"See! Two are good to eat, just don't eat the mold." Mono said, pulling the two least moldy slices out the loaf and onto the floor.

"Oh wow, they're on the floor. Now it got all the germs on it." Seven said.

"It's not as bad as EATING BREAD THAT HAS BEEN ON THE STREETS FOR WHO KNOWS HOW LONG AND HAD WHO KNOWS HOW MANY BUGS TOUCHED IT AND GERMS IT HAD." Mono said.

"Touche." Seven said.

Six ripped off a piece farthest from the mold and ate it.

Seven, copying what Six did, ripped off a piece farthest from the mold too. However, he checked it the bite each bite to see if it was still safe and there wasn't any mold inside.

Mono took off a piece, but not being as cautious as Seven and Six and taking off a piece closer to the mold and ate it without doing the checking stuff Seven was doing.

"Alright, so we done and ready to go?" Mono said after eating this piece of bread.

Six ripped off some bread pieces and put it into the food bag. "Yep!" Six said.

"Then let's go." Mono said.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

And with that, they were back on the journey.

The sky was very cloudy, the clouds blocking out the sun and the blue sky.

After 20 minutes, they reached the hospital. The hospital looked just as haunting as the school, but it looked like it was still being ran. Some lights were on and you could see the silhouette of people in the windows. The hospital was very big, it was a 20 story building.

The three stopped and looked up at the hospital.

"One of the only things that are open." Six said.

"Of course, hospitals are supposed to be open 24/7." Seven said. "An emergency can happen any time of the day."

"Mhm, well let's just keep going." Mono said, "I want to finally get out of this town."

Once they began walking away from the hospital suddenly a swarm of ravens circled them from above.

"Wah- Ravens again?!" Six said.

"HEY, SHOO!" Six yelled.

The large flock of ravens began blocking all entrances to the other streets and paths. The only thing the didn't block was the entrance to the hospital.

The birds cawed at the children, suddenly they heard a clunk from above. The birds stopped cawing and looked up, They looked up too. They saw that same large ruby-eyed crow perched on a street light staring down at them. This crow was the only one like this and this big, every other crow had normal eyes and were smaller. You could assume that this bird was the leader.

"Does that bird have a ruby eye?" Seven said, gasping.

"Yeah... It does..." Mono said, "But that's one of the the least weirdest things we've seen."

"Okay, who cares that some stupid bird has ruby eye. These birds are blocking our way!" Six said, walking up to the birds. "Shoo!"

The birds got really aggressive when Six got close, cawing, spreading their wings, and pecking at Six. Six backed away.

"Maybe they want us to go to the hospital? That's the only path they wont block." Seven suggested.

"Well, that's the only direction we can go so why not go?" Six said, going towards the hospital.

Seven went with Six almost immediately, Mono stared up at the large ruby-eyed crow before turning and following his friends.

They went inside the hospital, the door was open. Just like with the school doors, the wind began blowing the doors closed. However, this time a small raven was able to fly into the hospital before the door slammed closed. The raven wasn't smaller than the children, but they were still considered tiny since the other birds were much bigger than it.

The waiting room was completely empty, the lights were turned off in the waiting room too.

"The bird got in." Seven said.

"Yeah, I can see that." Six said.

The raven cawed and flew off. Disappearing to somewhere in the hospital, the children tried to follow the bird but quickly lost sight of the bird.

"Well if that bird wanted to guide us somewhere they're doing a horrible job." Mono said.

"Or are they?" Seven said, "There's a claw mark on the floor."

Seven was right, it looked the bird landed every few feet to quickly scrape the ground with it's talon before flying again. Giving them a path to follow.

"Slightly better job, then." Mono said.

The three followed the claw marking, going down multiple halls. The first floor had all it's lights off except for the one or two patient rooms they passed by that had their lights on.

They were lead to a staircase, the claw marks continued up the steps so they went upstairs.

"Where the heck is this bird leading us?" Six asked.

"Somewhere important, maybe." Seven said, "There must be a reason about 30 birds blocked our path to get us to go into the hospital."

Once they got up the steps, there were claws marks going in a straight line. However the claw marks were closer and easier to follow this time.

The lights were also off in the halls, however behind close doors you could see light coming from the other side due to the gap under the doors.

The kids followed the clawed path, the claw marks turned left down a hall. They turned.

On the other end of the hall, they were greeted with one of the hospital's doctors. It looked like they were waiting for them.

The doctor had a black plague-bird mask on, wearing the top hat too. He was wearing a black doctor robe. He also had a black and red stethoscope around his neck.

The small raven that has been guiding them was perched on his shoulder, looking down at the children.

The doctor pulled out a needle, however this needle didn't look like a regular needle. It looked like some weapon, it's point was extremely sharp and the container where the liquid went looked like it has poison in it.

"This was a trap..." Mono said, backing up. "WHY DID WE TRUST MENACING LOOKING BIRDS? ALL THE ANIMALS HAVE BEEN TRYING TO KILL US SO FAR."

"Just run!" Seven said, running away. The other two began running.

They began back-tracking. Following the claw marks backwards so they could get to the exit.

Then got to the stair and began running down the steps, however they quickly stopped when they saw those demons dogs downstairs. There were three of them, one was a German Shepherd, One was a border collie, and the last one was a tibetan mastiff. The dogs had service dog vests on them, and they all wore brown radio collars. A black radio being at the front of the collar. The tibetan mastiff sniffed the air and then his head snapped towards the kids.

The tibetan mastiff barked at them, their barks turning demonic as their face opened up. The other dogs noticed them and their faces opened up too.

Now, these were Dogs not Puppies. They wouldn't be able to outrun these dogs unless the dogs had to keep dodging objects while they didn't or had to keep going up stairs while they could get up them faster.

The kids quickly turned and ran up the stairs. "Crap, crap, crap." Seven mumbled to himself.

Once they got upstairs the doctor was nearly at the stairs, they made a sharp turn and went up to the 3rd floor. Each floor there were more and more doctors, they just kept going upstairs until there wasn't anymore floors they could go up.

The 20th floor had nobody at all there. The floor was empty. All the lights were on in this floor were on, however the lights were dim.

There were three ways to go. Go straight into the corridor, down the right hallway, and down the left hallway.

They heard barks from behind them.

"We gotta go." Mono said.

They decided to go down the corridor of the 20th level, running as fast as they could.

Once the dogs came onto the 20th floor, their face mouths closed. (which didn't take long at all) instead of them all running down the hall the tibetan mastif with off to the right hallway and the german shepherd with off to the left hallway. The collie ran down the corridor to chase the children.

As they ran down the corridor, suddenly the door to Mono's left slammed open and a raven- the same raven that got them into this trap- flew out. It was all a blurry when it happened, but the bird grabbed Mono by the throat and flew up into a open vent they didn't notice before.

The bird made sure to hit Mono's head against the top of the vent to knock him out. Once Mono got knocked out the raven dragged Mono through the ventilation system.

Seven noticed Mono was gone, "Mono?" he slowed down, looking for Mono. However Six grabbed Seven by the arm and began making him run at the same speed again.

"We can't stop for Mono or else we die!" Six said. "We can search for him after we get away."

The border collie was about to catch up with the kids.

The other two dogs appears on the other end of the corrider they were running down, appearing from the opposite ends. The dog's plans were to corner them.

The collie slowed down to a halt and so did the children once they realized they were cornered.

The three dogs closed in on them, snarling.

They were about to open their face mouths and attack the two all at once when the radios on their radio collars began making static noises.

The border collie's radio collar cut on, "Peco, come to the 5th floor. Patient 055 needs you." The dog understood what they said. They turned around and trotted off.

The tibetan mastiff's collar cut on, "Vivi, come to 10th floor. Patient 020 needs you."  The dog also understand what they said. Then they too turned around and trotted off.

The german shepherd's collar cut on last, "Mimick, come to 6th floor. Patient 666 needs you." The german shepherd understood what they said. But the dog stayed put.

The german shepherd looked at the kids, then at the collar, then at the kids, then at the collar. It snarled and walked off. Nipping at the kids before leaving. The kids dodged the nip however the dog didn't try again and just walked off.

"Must of been a pain to teach the dogs how to respond to that..." Six quietly commented.

"We should go search for Mono now." Seven said.

Just when he said that, the doctor with the plague doctor came up the stairs. They looked very tired from climbing up all those stairs, however they seem to get their energy back by seeing the children. The doctor began running towards them.

"Oh come on!" Six yelled, before she and Seven ran off.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-Third Person (but kinda in Mono's POV.)-

Mono woke up in a room.

He looked around, he was in a patient room. The room wall was a pale green and the floor was white.

There was a brown door behind Mono, but the handle was too high to reach alone.

On the right side of the room there were beds, but on the left side of the room there was a brown storage shelf with many different types of pills on it. In the middle of the room was a open window, however there was a window net up. Under the window was a white table and next to the table was a white chair. Above the window was an open vent, the vent grille hanging onto the vent by a single screw.

Mono got up and went over to the shelf, taking out the pills to use to stack up to the handle.

However, something caught his eyes...

At the top of the shelf, he recognize a pill bottle very well.

Happy pills were at the top of the shelf.

He had a new plan now, get the happy pills and then escape.

Mono began trying to climb up the pills to reach the top of the shelf. However, the pill bottles always collapsed under him. Throwing him onto the floor.

Once there as no more bottle set he could climb up he was going to try to put the bottles back in place so he could climb when he heard a caw.

The raven who kidnapped him flew out of the open vent and over to the top of the shelf.

The raven looked at the happy pill bottle and then at Mono.

"Please gimme it..." Mono begged, "Pretty please~"

The raven knocked the pill bottle down, the bottle landed next to Mono. These were one of the bigger bottles, as the bottle was nearly his size. The ones Mono had were the smaller versions. More for kids if you may say.

"YESSSS~!" Mono celebrated, hopping around in joy.

He calmed himself down and opened the bottle, inside the bottle weren't the usual rainbow colored pills but some light red pills with an eye carved into it.  And they were much bigger than the ones the smaller bottle had, they were the size of a bagel to Mono.

"Huh?" Mono said, confused. He looked at the bottle, it did say happy pills on it.

Mono shrugged, "Must be a different kind of Happy Pills, hopefully they work the same!" Mono said.

Mono took off his paper bag, setting it besides him, and began happily eating the pills.

Suddenly, the door to the room opened.

Oh god, someone's coming. Mono thought.

Six and Seven entered.

OH NO, I'M EATING A PILL! OH GOD THIS IS EVEN WORSE. I WOULD RATHER HAVE THE DOCTER CATCH ME. OH MY GOD I'M SO DEAD. THEY'RE GOING TO KILL ME FASTER THAN THE DOCTER WOULD.  Mono panicked in his mind.

"MONO!" Six and Seven yelled, which made Mono try to eat the pill faster.

Six ran over to Mono and grabbed him by the neck and slammed him against the wall. She held him against the wall, not choking him though. Just holding him there.

"SPIT IT OUT." Six said sternly. "I SWEAR TO GOD, IF YOU SWALLOW I'LL KILL YOU."

Mono and Six stared at each other, staring into each other's eyes.

Six felt Mono swallow the pill, "GOD DAMN IT, MONO!" Six yelled.

"He swallowed it?!" Seven asked.

"Yes!" Six said.

"I don't feel any better..." Mono said, "WHY DON'T I FEEL HAPPIER?!"

"Maybe it's a good thing you're not feeling happy, it could of failed which means it doesn't effect your body at all!" Six said, "Uhm- that's how it works, right Seven?'

"Uhm... Kinda?" Seven said, going over the pill bottle Mono ate from. "depends."

Seven grabbed a pill, inspected it, looked at the bottle it was in, then inspected it again.

"I've never seen this type of pill before, but this definitely isn't a happy pill..." Seven said, tossing the pill back inside. "Do you feel fine?"

"Yeah, feel the same way..." Mono said.

Suddenly, the door to the room slammed open.

The doctor that's been chasing Seven and Six stood in the entrance, the three dogs that were chasing them before standing behind him.

"Attack them." The doctor commanded and then the dog's face-mouths opened up and then they went after the children. The three went to the window since that's the only possible escape route they had.

The raven got in the way of the dogs, pecking at them and just annoying them.

"I-It's trying to give us time!" Seven said, who was on the chair and was now climbing onto the table.

"Pick what side you're on, bird." Six said, climbing onto the chair.

The three were able to get onto the table when the bird couldn't stop them anymore. The tibetan mastiff closed it's face-mouth, grabbed the bird's leg and threw it aside, then it opened it's face mouth again and went towards the children with the rest of the dogs.

Mono looked out the window.

Oh right, they were on the 20th floor. If they jumped out this window, that'll be an instant death.

However, despite knowing that jumping out this window would result in death he felt like he should jump out this window.

Mono grabbed Six and Seven by the wrist and jumping out the window with them, breaking through the window net. They jumped out just before the dogs grabbed them. The german shepherd nearly fell out the window but the other two dogs grabbed the german shepherd's collar and pulled them back into the building.

Mono, Six, and Seven fell through the sky.

"WHAT THE HECK, MONO! WE'RE GOING TO DIE NOW!" Six screamed. "YOU BETTER HAVE A GOOD PLAN!"

-Mono POV-

Oh god, why did I do that? I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO! Mono thought.

Say Aasim

"Huh? Who said that?" Mono said.

"What are you talking about?!" Seven asked.

The pills... SAY AASIM!

"AASIM!" Mono screamed

"Who is aasim!" Six yelled.

I sense you.

Once the children were halfway to the ground the large ruby-eyed bird appeared below them. Popping out from some some building. Catching the wind under their feathers, they rose up. Going closer to the children.

Soon the three safely landed on the back of the bird's back.

Mono sat up, amazed. Did... Did he summon the bird? Or was the bird named Aasim?

"W-Was this your plan?!" Six said, amazed. She sat up.

"I-I guess!" Mono said. "Uhm, bird! Take us to the ground."

The raven didn't land them, they just kept flying.

"Bird!" Mono said.

The bird cawed a bit angrily.

"Uhm, just let the bird fly. We don't want to get it to knock us off." Seven said.

"Okay." Mono said.

The large raven took them higher into the sky, going above the clouds. Once they went above the clouds they saw hundreds of ravens flying in one big group. The ravens began falling back once the large one they were riding joined them, but then the large raven cawed and then the ravens went back to their original positions.

"You saw that action? We're definitely riding on the leader." Six said.

"I never thought I'd be riding on the back of a crow." Seven said, "And look at this view, this is beautiful!"

"Wait where's our food bag." Six said.

They're food bag was gone.

"oooo, I must of dropped it somewhere in the hospital." Six said, "nooo-"

"We can always make our own bag and collect more food." Seven said, "Isn't too big of a deal. Plus, we probably don't want to keep bread pieces that came from a moldy bread slice of bread anyway."

"Yeah, you're right I guess." Six said.

"Well, I don't know when this bird is going to let us down so we better get comfy because this will possibly be a long ride." Mono said.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

About a little over half an hour later, they were still in the air. The children were curled up, sleeping against each other. The raven was big enough for them to sleep ontop of without fearing falling off too much.

The raven they were riding on began cawing at the children, making them wake up.

Mono was the first to wake up, then Seven, then Six.

The flock of birds began gliding towards the ground, once they went pass the ground the children could finally see where they were.

They were are a mile away from The Mawful Maw. Surrounded by a normal-colored forest, The Mawful Maw was in the middle of a giant lake, a long bridge leading to the entrance of it and a long bridge on the opposite end leading to the other land behind it. And it looks like they were being dropped off a mile away.

"They were taking us to our next destination!" Seven said, "Amazing!"

"Coincidental or not, really helps us." Six said. "AND THANK GOD THE WORLD OUTSIDE THE CITY ISN'T PASTEL! LOOK AT THIS BEAUTIFUL NORMAL COLORED FOREST!"

The ruby-eyed raven landed them in the forest, the flock hovering over them.

The children got off, once they did the ravens flew off.

The children waved them goodbye.

-Mono POV-

My eyes started to hurt, then something weird began happening.

My eyes switched through two visions, one was a normal vision and the other everything was red and bloody.

I stumbled backwards.

"Mono?!" My two friends yelled.

I fell over.

"MONO!" I heard them yell before I passed out.
