Chapter 3
Requested by @bmar50919 :) (I was gonna try and catch up on my notifications but I started crying about how much I missed so what the heck).
I took Ringo, George and John downstairs, going over in my head what I was to do about.... everything. How could I get them back to normal? Even more important: how could I keep them a secret? Should I keep them a secret?
As I muddled over this, I sat them all down at the kitchen table, and prepared breakfast. At least, I tried to. Do you know how hard it is to make breakfast with three little kids??? Well, let me tell you, it's very difficult: especially if they are John, Ringo and George.
"George, stop eating Ringo's food!" I snapped at him, "You're going to make him cry!!" But George just glanced up at me, and continued to scoff Ringo's cornflakes. Ringo kept sobbing and trying to hit George away with his little fists, but George simply ignored him. Who knew he could become even more greedy as a child?
Before I could stop him, a whirlwind of soggy cornflakes swept over me like a wave. I turned around to find John with an empty bowl in his hand, laughing his head off at his hilarious little prank.
"Look, mummy, you're all wet!!" John pointed at me and giggled.
"That doesn't sound at all wrong...." I murmured sarcastically. I would've said it aloud if they were adults [John would've found it very amusing] but obviously it would've been a bit cruel to explain what it meant to them so I kept quiet. On the other hand, I didn't have to keep shut about telling them off, which was a bonus.
"Right, shut up all of you!" I screeched at them, aware that I must've looked pretty manic with my wet hair and shirt [especially with cornflakes in my hair], "I'm you're mother now, so you can all listen to me, alright?"
They stopped and stared at me for a long time. It seemed to have done the job.
"John, put your bowl on the table," I ordered him, and he did so. I filled it up again and got him to actually eat it this time. I then refilled Ringo's bowl and held George back as they ate. I was already knackered and it was only 8:00am!!! God knows how I'd handle the rest of the day.
Luckily, it was a Sunday. That meant I wouldn't be arrested for keeping three kids from school [though they would probably go to pre-school *aka kindergarten* anyway]. I decided the best thing to do was to take a shower [I was covered in cornflakes, after all] and maybe give them all a bath too; throughout the mayhem of eating breakfast they also were covered in food and I didn't have any spare clothing for kids at the moment, so I could give them a bath whilst their clothes were in the wash.
"Come up here with me, I'm just gonna quickly pop in the shower and get changed," I told them, and hustled them into the bathroom with me. I washed as quick as a flash [in a worry something bad might happen] but they actually stayed fairly still [I think John was quite content with poking George's shoulder to bug him].
Then I got them changed and took them to school because Wattpad logic and the author couldn't be bothered to make sense whilst doing a request.
Little did I know the trouble they'd cause there...
