daniel rolled over in his sleep, his body searching for some sort of heat. It usually came in the form of his girlfriend, y/n. his still sleeping face formed into a frown, noticing that she wasn't there next to him.

his eyes opened, revealing a dazzling blue color that was still clouded with sleepiness. daniel slowly sat up, rubbing his eyes as he looked to y/n's side of the bed, seeing that it was empty. his eyes darting around the room in search of y/n. she wasn't in the bed next to him, she wasn't anywhere in the room. where was she? did she leave him? oh god, what if she did leave him? daniel was already delirious from his sleep, and this was not making it any better.

daniel was about to throw fit when y/n finally walked back into the room, fully showered and ready for the day. she had a cup of coffee in her hands, and she sipped on it casually as she approached a still confused daniel.

"morning sleepyhead, nice to see you up," y/n told her boyfriend in a slight teasing tone. daniel rolled his eyes in a playful manner and flopped back over, burying his head into the pillow.

"oh c'mon, don't be this way," y/n set her mug on the nightstand before sitting down next to daniel's blanket covered form. he mumbled some incoherent words into pillow, causing y/n to laugh lightly. "babe, i can't understand you,"

daniel lifted his face from the pillow, turning his head to look at y/n. "i thought you left me," he pouted, making her heart melt. his bright blue eyes met hers and she lifted a hand to play with his messy brown locks.

"i'm sorry you thought that babe, i'd never leave you, i promise. how can i make it up to you?" daniel lifted his head off the pillow at the proposition, a smirk replacing the pout that was there not even thirty seconds ago.

"stay in with me today, i don't wanna do anything today and i know you don't want to either," he bargained, making y/n roll her eyes.

"as much as i would love to, you have a meeting to go to today. and remember last time you missed a meeting? jonah almost-" y/n started, but was interrupted by daniel's phone going off. daniel nearly cheered at the notification, not wanting to relive the lecture jonah gave him on being an adult and all that crap.

daniel scooted over to where his phone was on the nightstand, unplugging it from the charger and turning on the phone. he squinted for a moment, his eyes adjusting to the brightness of the screen before swiping on the notification.

y/n waited impatiently as he read his message, seeing the smirk on his face growing as he read it.

"what is it daniel?" y/n asked, tempted to snatch the phone right from his hands and read whatever it is for herself. but she had more morals than that and waited for daniel to show her for himself.

"i guess we can stay in now, because my meeting has just been canceled," he said in a smug tone, showing y/n his phone screen in triumph. y/n snatched the phone, reading the message on the screen.

jonah: hey bro, the meeting today was cancelled. something about having an emergency meeting with some other artist lol. just wanted to give you a heads up, i already told the others. see you tomorrow in the studio, love ya

y/n looked up from the screen, seeing daniel's smug face looking at her. "okay, i guess i don't have anything else to do today. just let me get changed," y/n sighed with a smile on her face. daniel whooped in victory, waiting patiently as y/n went to go get changed back into her comfy clothes.

she returned a minute or two later, wearing a pair of cotton shorts and a random t-shirt of daniel's. y/n hopped into bed, almost immediately being captured by daniel's arms and brought to his body. she cuddled into his warm body, looking up at him a pressing a kiss to his cheek.

daniel pouted again. "c'mon, give me a real kiss." he complained playfully. y/n sighed, but a smile slowly crept up her features. she pressed her lips to his, smiling as the warm, familiar feeling of his lips on hers overtook her senses. their kisses was sweet and passionate, and never failed to give both of them endless butterflies. when they kissed it was like nothing else mattered in the world but their lips melding together and the fireworks exploding between them.

he pulled away from the kiss, looking into her eyes with all the love he could muster up. she smiled up at him, causing a warm, fuzzy feeling to appear in his heart. daniel loved this girl with his whole being, and nothing could replace that fact.

she leaned up for another quick peck, their lips touching for only a second or two before she pulled away with tinted cheeks.

"so, netflix?" she asked, reaching for her laptop.

"hell yeah."
