y/n adjusted her why don't we hoodie, trying to conceal as much of  her face as possible. the excited chatter of the limelights rang  throughout her ears, making y/n smile. this was it. she was finally  going to see daniel after so long.

granted, it had only been a few  months since they had seen each other, but to them, it was a lifetime.  sure, they texted and facetimed every day, but y/n longed to see the  bright blue eyes that she fell in love with and to kiss his soft lips.  their tour had been going on for a while and y/n couldn't wait any  longer. so, she texted jack about her plan and bought a plane ticket to  LA to come see the show. 

that's what lead her to here, where  she was standing in line for the meet and greet. her phone buzzed,  jolting y/n out of the slight daze she was in while thinking of daniel.

jack: are you here yetttt daniel has been missing you and it's annoying

y/n: yeah i'm in line chillax dude

jack:  okay okay but dani has been all in the feels bc he misses you so this  surprise is gonna help all of us bc dani will be all happy and we'll be  saved from endless "y/n would love this" and "i miss y/n"

y/n: aww he's such a sweetheart, give him a break. now go get ready for this meet and greet, i've been dying to see you guys

jack: and we've been dying to see you

y/n: i'll see you later jackaboy

jack: see ya

y/n smiled as she turned her phone off, rotating it in her hand a few times before placing it in her pocket. butterflies swarmed her stomach, and her heart raced at the thought of finally seeing daniel again.

a  few more minutes passed, y/n distractedly looking around the venue,  mindlessly scrolling through her social medias. that is, until loud  screams jolted her out of her daydreams. her eyes immediately darted to  the stage, where the boys were walking out.

and there he was,  looking as perfect as ever. his cerulean eyes sparkled as he waved  enthusiastically at his fans. a wide grin was painted on his face,  showing of the adorable tooth gap that y/n loved so dearly. y/n's heart  swelled at the sight of him. he was right there, the love of her life.  and she was going to be able to kiss him, touch him, be with him, after  so long.

y/n waited for thirty minutes at the back of the  line, her foot tapping absentmindedly as the line moved along slowly.  she didn't complain, the fans deserved to see the boys as much as she  did. her hood stayed up the whole time, herself not wanting to risk  daniel or any of the fans recognizing her and ruining her surprise.

  after what felt like a lifetime, she was in the front of the line. y/n  shook the nerves from her body, before confidently walking up to where  the boys were standing. jack immediately recognized her and sent her a  wink. he had told the other boys, (minus daniel of course), about her  surprise, so they could help her.

she fidgeted with her hands while walking up to daniel, who thankfully had his back turned to her, talking to corbyn.

she  lightly tapped his shoulder, trying not to giggle or give herself away.  "excuse me? i've loved you and your band for a long time, is it  possible that i could get a photo?" she asked him in a horribly  disguised voice.

"of course, thank you for  supporting the band," daniel turned around, still not recognizing y/n  for some odd reason. she suppressed a loud laugh, seeing that the other  boys were doing the same.

they got in formation, with daniel and jack  of either side of her. it was now when a genius idea popped into y/n's  head, making her smile deviously.

"can you kiss me on the cheek? for the photo of course," y/n asked daniel, and he nodded.

"just  don't tell y/n, she might get mad at me," he laughed, and positioned  his lips right above her cheek. y/n laughed on the inside, but her heart  also melted at his words.

"okay, 1, 2, 3″ the photographer  called out, and just as daniel leaned down to kiss her cheek y/n quickly  turned her head and caught his lips with hers. they kissed for a few  seconds, y/n ravishing in the feeling of his lips on hers.

daniel  pulled away with wide eyes. "w-what? i have a girlfriend," y/n almost  rolled on the floor with laughter at his expression before pulling her  hood off. the rest of the boys were nearly crying with laughter, with jack filming for their instagram story.

"well  she's right here!" she yelled, throwing up her best jazz hands. daniel  stood in place for a few seconds, completely shell-shocked. once he was  snapped out of his daze, he immediately scooped up y/n into his arms,  spinning her around in pure happiness.

she wrapped her legs  around his waist, holding onto her boyfriend as tight as possible as he  gripped her thighs to support her. "surprise babe," she whispered into  his ear, making him smile. she pulled away slightly from the hug,  wanting to see daniel's gorgeous face.

he had the biggest smile on his face, his eyes shining as he admired the face of the love of his life.

"i missed you," he mumbled, pressing a kiss to her cheek.

"and  i missed you too," she crashed her lips onto his, finally being able to  truly savor the feeling. she kissed with with all the passion and  longing that had built up inside of her over the few months he had been  away, and she could tell he was doing the same. she cupped his cheeks  with both of her hands, pouring all of her emotion into what was  arguably the best kiss of their lives.

they pulled away from  each other, breathless from the moment they had just shared. she stared  into his beautiful irises, mirroring the expression of sheer adoration  he expressed in his eyes.

"i love you so much baby,"

"and i love you more," he pressed his lips onto hers again, smiling into the kiss.

the  cheers and whoops from the boys and fans that resounded throughout the  room were nothing more than distant noise to y/n and daniel,  all they  could hear, see, and feel was each other.

and as their bodies and souls melted into one, it couldn't be described as anything other than perfect.
