Anand Uncle-Amrita POV
It amazes me that my mother still refers to me as princess. Before I would be embarrassed in front of the other contestants, Adrien and Marinette saved my life. I understand that it's because I'm her daughter and all, but I'm already 16 for heavens' sake. But because she was the only person I had in my family, I loved and cherished my mother dearly. After my father broke up with her, I never again saw him. I wondered if he would ever come back. But every time I asked my mother a question, she remained silent.I immediately stopped pondering him or asking questions. Not because I don't love him, but because he didn't even consider how big of an empty space he would leave in my life and heart, I hate him. I was in my mother's office as she tracked all of the patients' medical reports on her computer. She has worked here since I was 4 years old and was the hospital's top physician. "Rita beta, kya aap please kuch items kiraane ka saamaan lene ke lie baajaar ja sakate hain. Mujhe thodee jaldee thee. Yahaan soochee hai.(Amrita, can you please go to the market to get some important groceries? I was in a bit of a hurry. Here is the list.)" I grabbed the paper from her as she smiled. "Kya main apane best friend ke lie kuchh Cadbury chocolates khareed sakata hoon. Darasal, kal usaka janmadin tha aur mujhe use ek tohapha bhee dena hai.(Can I please buy some Cadbury chocolates for my best friend. Actually, tomorrow was her birthday and I also have to get her a gift.)" Ashi smiled at her daughter sweetly. "Of course. Go ahead. Jaise hee tum jaldee lauto. Aaj aapako mere saath kuchh mahatvapoorn kaam hai.(Of course. Go Ahead. As soon as you return quickly. You have some important work with me today.)" I thanked her and went to the Superstore that was close to the mall. I'll be able to purchase my gift and other items at the Superstore, but the Cadbury I want to continue from the beginning. I quickly checked my smartwatch to see the time. I have to get back home by about 11:30 a.m. I dash to the store, look in every section, and grab my goods. I self-checkout and pack everything up. I sensed that someone was around while I was crossing the street to go to the chocolatier. When I saw a few goons with guns behind me I ran for my life. It was even faster than I did for the competitions. I began to run out of breath and no one was there to save me. The goons grabbed me in a dark room. "Chotee bachchee, ham tumhaara apaharan karane aae hain. Tum hamase nahin bachoge. Ham tumhen maar denge!(Little girl, we have come to kidnap you. You won't escape from us. We will kill you!)" Suddenly a bold voice came from the background just as they were about to raise their gun. "Koee apanee gun nahin uthaega! agar Aap aisa karate hain to apane jeevan ko alavida kah den! Agar tumane use chot pahunchaee to main tumhen tukadon mein hara doonga!(No one will raise their gun! If you do then say goodbye to your life! If you hurt her then I will defeat you into pieces!)"The criminals made fun of him. He sent them into the air one by one as they started to fight him. When they surrounded him, he instantly flipped backward and kicked them into the air. He beat them by punching them with their own weapons. Right away, the cops arrived and detained them. I gave the man who helped save my life a grin. As a hero, I adore him! "Bahut-bahut dhanyavaad uncle jee! Tum na hote to main mar jaata!(Thank you so much, uncle! If you were not there I would have died!)" The uncle smiled at me. "Tum bahut bahaadur the. Lekin agalee baar saavadhaan rahen. Chot lag jaatee to kya hota. Ruko, kya main ise dekh sakata hoon?(You were so brave. But next time be careful. What if would have gotten hurt? Wait, can I see that?)" The uncle saw my arm bleeding continuously. "It is ok uncle. I will manage." He looked shocked at his expression. "Mujhe tumhen tumhaaree maan ke paas ghar le jaana chaahie. Tumhaara naam kya he?(I must take you home to your mom. What is your name?)" I smiled as I thought of my mom. "Amrita Dixit. Meree maan Ashi Dixit hain aur cherry lane kee sabase badee havelee mera ghar hai.(Amrita Dixit. My mom is Ashi Dixit and the biggest mansion in Cherry Lane is my house.)" Uncle smiled as he recognized the name. "Main tumhaaree maan ko jaanata hoon. Vah meree achchhee dost hai. Mera naam Siddharth Anand hai. (I know your mom. She is a good friend of mine. My name is Siddharth Anand.)" I smiled as I knew that he had the same name. "Tumhaara vahee naam hai jo mere papa ka hai! Aapase milakar achchha laga. Lekin aapako andar jaana hoga. Main tumhen apanee maan dikhaoonga.(You have the same name as my father! It was nice to meet you. But you must go inside. I will show you, my mom.)" We both went inside and I saw Ashi for the first time after years. "Rita beti! Kya hua tujhe. Kya tumhen chot pahunchee!(What happened to you. Did you get hurt!)" Mom hugged me with tears in her eyes. "Relax Mom. Yah sirph ek ghaav hai. Lekin agar Anand ankal nahin hote to main mar jaata.(It is just a wound. But if Anand's uncle would not have been there I would have died.)" My mom panicked. "Aapako mujhe phone karana chaahie tha. Kya hua agar aapako kuchh ho gaya. Kya hua agar mainne tumhen kho diya!(You should have given me a call. What if something happened to you? What if I lost you!)" She gave me a hard hug and a kiss while crying on me. "If it's okay with you, I'd like to speak with Anand uncle alone." "Okay, I'll be back after that." As I walked into the next room, I nodded. In the meantime, I observed Adrien and Marinette playing video games. "I'd like to join you guys." Adrien giggled. "Certainly, sweetheart." "Come on over!" Before my mother arrived, we played a variety of video games.
