“Well, my name is Lex, and this right here is my roommate, Bryce.” Lex said. Kardi shifted his gaze from Bryce to Lex. “Ehhh, I don't buy it mates. Y'all seem like a couple.” Lex and Bryce laughed nervously, “Nope we are just friends..” They said to each other at the same time. Kardi didn't buy it, not one bit. “Alright mates…” Lex went off to get ice cream for the three of them. Bryce stood there, talking to Kardi, showing his artwork to each other, and they wrote each other's numbers down and kept talking. The pencil man was in the bushes again, aiming to hit the monster in the back of the head. And once again, he missed, but this time the bullet hit someone in the park, dropping to the ground and bleeding out. “YES!” He said proudly, The man in suit looked over at the body, roiling his eye's “You REALLY need to get better at shooting things, Jack..” He sighed into his hands, shaking his head in dissatisfaction. “Just let me handle this, meet me back at the office, caphece?” Jack gave a nod with a smile. The man in the suit stepped out of where he was hiding, dropping his jacket to the ground. He walked up to the others with a blank smile. “Do you feel like ketchup is a smoothie, my dear friends?” Kardi and Bryce gave a concerned look, “No…” Lex came back to the group, handing them both an ice cream. He gave Bryce a mad look, because he had to buy more ice-cream. “Damn, Bryce! Stop making so many friends for one second..” Lex said sarcasticly. Kardi patted Bryce's shoulder, “So, who are you?” “Oh no, I'm Hayden. Really nice to meet you all.”
   “Well,” Said Lex. “Let's head back home. I'd like to meet you all a little more, if you don't mind.” And so, they went, but Hayden lagged behind a little bit. He spoke into his watch, “Jack, help me keep a eye on this group,” he said. “I'm going to find out what makes the monster tick, to any cost…”
