Basic conversation
let's try the basics of a coversation shall we? Make a conversation with me my friends haha.
Let's start with a basic hello and bye in English to translate it after.
"Hello, how are you doing?" Too easy of a sentence for you? Try it in Dutch then XD. If you can pronounse it perfectly in one time I will lick my doggy. (Disgusting....)
Dutch;
----------------------
"Hallo, hoe gaat het met je?" Try that XD.
----------------------
So now for the prenounsement of it. Though we had Hallo before I will still do it again. Can't learn everything at once can you?
Prenounsement;
---------------------------
H a llo, h o g aa t h e t m e t ju?
---------------------------
As you see we actually always make the O's, E's and A's a lot more audiable though it ain't exasperatingly audiable. One thing you do have in disadvantage is that we use the G and H on a different way. We do combine them like in English but we also use them loose.
It is used more loose like in the words; Geen (none), Haal (get), Gehoord (hearing). Ofcorse the letters G and H are used in more loose in English too but actually you should hear it to actually know what I mean. Just wait untill you are here once. You will notic the difference soon enough.
But moving on. On to the precise translation;
---------------------
Hallo, hoe gaat het met je?
Hello, how going it with you?
---------------------
It sound so funny translated precisely. Do remember though to never say it like this. Your grammar will be worse then when a baby's mixing three languages.
To answer or get as an awnswer will be this;
---------------------
Goed, en met jou?
Good, and you?
---------------------
Precise transelation;
---------------------
Goed, en met jouw?
Good, and with you?
---------------------
You still there with me? Xp. Well ofcorse it depends on how it's going with you so I will give you two ways to answer that question.
Answer;
--------------------
Goed.
Good.
--
Slecht.
Bad.
--------------------
What you say after that is completely up to you. I can't think of a sentence I can put behind it easily. Just comment if you want me to translate something for behind it.
Prenounsement;
-------------------
G o d (No not like God XD the o sounds the same like the o in 'who'.)
Sl e cht
-------------------
So now that you learned the basics of a conversation I expect to be greated like that when I see you here XD. I will probably take you for a European then.
Kus van mij en mijn hondjes.
Kiss from me and my dogs.
(weird XD)
