(hi just to let you know I will warm y'all before there is self harm and this is the text that is Lance's thoughts  and this is me. Ok I'm done talking enjoy the book😁 and also this a klance)

Lance's pov:
Another day I have to put on a fake smile but it's for the best. If I don't they will find out the real me and probably make fun of me.

My life is crap who knows what they will say. Well time to get up and act like I actually got sleep.

I get up put my usual clothes. I went to the bathroom and put make up on to hide the under eye bags.

"You Re ugly with that face no one will like you especially Keith"

"I know"

I hate it when the voices are In my mind that's the reason I don't sleep.

I go to the dinning hall by a "your late again Lance" alura says. Time to make a fake smile and act like someone else.

"Well we all know I need my beauty sleep" I say. You could here a "like you need it" over on the other side of the table.

I go and sit at the table and right when I sit hunk comes and gives us our food goo.

"You are fat don't eat"

And like always I believe the voice in my head so I take one bit and leave the rest on the plate.

Keith's pov:

I look over and notice that Lance hasn't really ate his food goo I have only seen him take on bit that's it.

I don't think you know but I like Lance he so handsome but I feel for his funny and flirty personality.

I ask Lance if he is ok and that he needs to eat he says he's fine and that he's not that hungry I say ok but still an worried but still mind my own business.

Lance's pov:

That was close Keith almost found out. I get up after and scrap my plate and go train.

I head their and train I trained for 2 hours and the same thoughts ran through my head.

"7th wheel"

"Weak"

"Useless"

"Loser"

But the one that got to me the most was

"Be more like Keith"

I like Keith always have since the Garrison.

When I first saw him I fell for him but he hated me and ignored me so I made up the stupid rivel crap to get his attention.

He was our highest student while I was just a cargo pilot. When he left I got his spot but still got told I was just a cargo pilot.

Now I know that I'm the weakest on the team. The others have there own things hunk is our cook and helps build stuff, pidge is our Genius, Keith is our strongest person other than shiro, then shiro is the leader and me

I'm just a seventh wheel.

Keith's pov:

I hear something in thing in the training room so I go to check it out it's probably shiro.

When I get the to my surprise its Lance's he looks so tired I'm kind of worried for Lance.

I go in and he doesn't notice so I just sit down and wait.

I look at him and notice that he is crying. I get up and say "end training sequence". "Hey" Lance says. "I was training". "Lance are you ok" I ask."I'm fine"he says. "You don't look it are you sure"I ask. "WHY DO YOU CARE" he yells then runs off.

I am worried so I follow him.

Lance's pov:

"WHY DO YOU CARE" I tell at him he looked shocked. After I seid that I ran to my room.

I heard foot steps behind me but ignored them.

I got to my room and went to my bathroom and got my razor I had in my cabinet.

I put it up to my arm and cut for every name that popped up in my head.

I was so out of it that I didn't hear a knock on my door and a door open and someone come in.

⚠️SELF HARM WARNING OVER ⚠️

Keith's pov:

I know on his door and ask if he's ok and there was no answer. I got a little nervous. I knocked again. No answer. "Lance I'm coming in" I say warning him.

I walk in and here something in the bathroom so I go look. I walk in and was terrified. All I saw was Lance with a razor and cuts on his wrists.

I go to him and take the razor from him. It look like he snapped back to reality and looked at me and started panicking.

Lance's pov:

I snapped back to reality and saw Keith took the razor and started panicking. I started crying and he came and tried to calm me.

To my surprise he hugged me and I tensed up a bit but relaxed. After a minute I calmed down.

"Why are helping me?" I ask. "Because you are hurting and I don't like seeing you like this" he says. I look at him surprised at his answer.

"Lance" he says. "Hm". "I love you".

I look at him even more surprised and moved away. I love him always have but why would he love me of all people.

There are people that are better than me and skinny, smart, good looking, and not like me.

"Why do you love a worthless person?"

Keith's pov:

I was shocked of what I just heard. " What do you mean?"I ask him.

"I mean why love me I'm worthless, ugly, fat, a seventh whe-" then I cut him of by putting my lips on his. At first he didn't kiss back but a few seconds later he melted in to it.

Lance's pov:

I get cut of by his lips on mine. I was shocked but melted in to it a few seconds later.

We stopped and I was shocked I asked him why.  "Don't ever say thing about your self like that ever" he seid I was shocked but seid I will try.

"What does this mean about us though?" I ask.

"Lance McLain will you be my boyfriend?" He asked. "YES i-i mean sure" I stutter.
