Chase gets materials to make a homemade chip extractor, he assembles the extractor and mets Harper in the bathroom, the least crowded place at the party, Chase enters.

"Harper!?" He asks and Harper comes out of one of the booths "I got the chip extractor done" Chase says "let me see" Harper analyzes the extractor.

"yeah, Looks good I think it will work...I hope it works!" Harper says "let's see" Chase says, Harper turns her back to him.

"lift your hair up" Chase says, Harper holds her hair up, Chase puts a hand on her neck, she feels a slight shiver with his icy hand on her neck.

Chase applies the chip extractor to Harper's neck, It takes a few seconds but he extracts her chip "got it!" Chase says taking the chip from her.

"Oh great, oh look! I can see my feet again!" Harper says looking down "yup, Your abilities have been suspended for now" Chase says.

Harper removes her belt and tablecloth from around her waist, she sighs in relief, when she can see her own legs and the true skirt of her dress that are no longer invisible.

"great! I knew it would work!" Harper says, Chase takes the chip over to the sink and with tweezers he starts fiddling with the tiny wires on the chip, Harper leans against the sink and crosses her arms.

"Alright now I just need to tweak that little link and that's for the chip to work again, at least we're getting rid of one of your glitches" Chase says "Excellent!" Harper looks down.

Chase quickly looks at her "look, even though we're in this situation, I'm glad you're here with me" Chase says, Harper looks at him.

"Yes, I realized the moral that my few seconds of visibility gave you, your status must have improved a lot" Harper says she gives a little laugh, he keeps working on the chip.

Chase smile he even gets a litlle nervous, she watches him concentrate on fixing the chip, she gives a slight smile looking at him, she remains looking at him until he lets go of the tweezers and notices her gaze.

"uh...it's done!" Chase says quietly, looking her in the eye, Harper blinks twice as if she's snapped back to reality and nods.

She backs away from the sink and Chase goes over to her putting the chip in the chip extractor again.

Harper stands in front of the mirror, she lifts her hair again, Chase takes some of the hair that is left on her neck and lifts it with the rest gently.

Harper takes a deep breath and watches Chase's reflection behind her in the mirror.

Chase puts a hand on her neck again, his hand is warmer now, he places the extractor on her neck, a few seconds later he removes the extractor and her chip is back.

He lowers the extractor, and continues with his hand on her neck, stroking the back of her neck with his thumb lightly, he keeps looking at her neck and her uplifted hair.

Harper watches the way Chase looks at her in the mirror, she gives a slight smile when she sees the way he looks at her, as if he wanted to do something.

Chase steps forward, he wets his lips with his tongue quickly, keeps looking at her, he doesn't even notice that Harper watches his every move in the mirror.

She feels his breath on her neck, She looks at him in the mirror's reflection expectantly, waiting for something.

Chase starts leaning towards her, slowly closing his eyes as he gets closer to her neck.

But before he can brush his lips against her neck, they hear the sound of a lock opening, a woman comes out of one of the bathroom stalls.

Chase turns his face away from Harper's neck, both look at the woman confused, but remain in the same position.

Harper holding her hair and Chase with his hand on her neck, all he does is hide the homemade chip extractor made with materials stolen from the building, behind him.

The woman looks at them and gives them a embarrassed smile, they both do the same watching the woman go to the sink to wash her hands.

Harper lets her hair down and looks at Chase with a look that says "this woman heard everything?" Chase shrugs with a look that says "Yes, she heard everything" Harper closes her eyes and sighs.

The woman dries her hands and starts walking towards the door "sorry to disturb, keep going!" She says leaving and smiling, both smile at her in embarrassment.

She closes the door "Yeah, I guess the mood is over!" Chase says taking his hand off the back of Harper's head "totally! I wish I stayed invisible to avoid this" Harper says.

They return to the party.

Chase and Harper come out of the bathroom, some people pass by looking at them, the two of them holding hands.

"I know these people are probably judging us but the feeling of being seen again is so good that I'm not even care about It" Harper says "I'm happy to see you again...Literally" Chase says he kisses her cheek.

"look there's Mr Garrett it's our chance come on!" Harper starts pulling Chase.

"you know....No, it's almost the end of the party, Harp....I think we better go home" Chase says "what?" Harper says.

"it's not that important anymore I guess..""no! I promised you that I would help you, I'm not leaving without keeping my promise" Harper says, Chase smiles.

"come on!" Harper takes his arm, the two approach Mr Garrett, He sees them, Mr Garrett is an elderly man with a cane and gray hair.

"oh! Davenport! Where were you, boy, I've been looking for you all night!" Mr Garrett says "Mr Garrett" Chase shakes hands with Mr Garrett.

"I was running some business of the Academy" Chase says "Oh I understand guys like us never stop right?" Mr Garrett gives a sympathetic chuckle, Chase nods

"uh...sir this is my girlfriend, Harper" Chase says "It's a pleasure sir!" Harper greets him.

"Hello, your father told me you were dating but he didn't say anything about her being so charming, it's a pleasure darling!" Mr Garret greets her with a smile.

"I was very excited to meet you sir, I really admire your work, you are a revolutionary, I was very interested
in your new software project, these are ideas with a lot of potential" Harper says.

"Oh thank you dear, it's nice to see such a young lady taking an interest in these projects" Mr Garrett says "We've discussed a lot about how software as advanced as yours can be used to protect ecological reserves" Chase says, Harper agrees with him.

"Oh! Intriguing I never thought about
it" Mr Garret says.

"This is an interesting idea indeed, did you two think of it together?" Mr Garret asks "Chase..." "Yes! We thought about it together" Chase interrupts Harper.

"That's admirable, do you have bionic intelligence darling?" Mr Garret asks "I'm bionic but my bionic abilities aren't intelligence" Harper says.

"but she has highly advanced intelligence without bionic, Which in my opinion makes her that much more amazing!" Chase smiles at Harper, she smiles shyly, Mr Garret smiles at them.

"you guys make a beautiful couple, a remarkable couple indeed!" Mr Garrett smiles "thanks!" Harper and Chase say.

"Well, I better go my speech won't
do itself!" Mr Garret says he gives a light laugh starting to leave, Harper and Chase laugh along with him.

Harper with a light and delicate laugh puts her hand on his shoulder "oh Mr Garret you are amuzing!" Harper says taking her hand off his shoulder and gently tucking her hairbehind her ear.

Chase tries to contain a laugh when he realizes what Harper is doing, Mr Garret takes a step back.

"you know!..I was really interested in your ideas, if you don't mind I would like to discuss them further at a meeting at one of my branches, if you guys are in agreement!?" Mr Garret smiles.

Chase and Harper look at each other trying to contain their excitement "yes, that would be an honor sir!" Chase says.

"great, I want to see you two monday morning, in my office" Mr Garret says "we'll be there" Harper smiles "great, now excuse me.." Mr Garret starts to go down the stairs but stops close to Chase first.

"You found a great girl Chase, I'm proud!" Mr Garret pats Chase on the back lightly, Chase smiles proudly.

They wait for Mr Garret to leave and go to the corner of the hall to wait for the speech, the two look at each other excitedly.

"Oh my God!" Harper says excitedly "we did it!" Chase says excitedly and hugs her "yes!!" Harper says hugging him back.

The two smile excitedly touching their foreheads against each other "we have a partnership!" Harper says "I can't wait to tell Mr Devenport!" Chase says.

"I can't believe after everything that happened we made it!" Harper says, Chase hugs her "thank you, Couldn't have done it without you" Chase says.

"You're welcome, yeah, sometimes it takes dating a guy for almost a year to figure out why he's with you in the first place...status!" Harper says sarcastically.

Chase smiles, shaking his head "okay,I've done my part, you can break up with me now!" Harper continues the joke "don't be silly..." Chase says holding her face and kissing her gently.

He breaks the kiss but doesn't take his face away from hers "we still have a meeting to go to monday, just after that I'll break up with you" Chase says quielty and giving a light laugh, Harper rolls her eyes.

"idiot!" Harper says and kisses him again, They hear Mr Garret's speech, who makes a special mansion for them in his speech.
