Tease

(This is back to the story line. Flashback is over)

Lance tensed up, eyes widening. "K-Keith... I... I-I can't..." He started to shake as he pulled away, the events flashing through his head. "I can't..."

Keith gasped, then threw his arms around Lance. "I'm sorry! I'm so, so sorry, Lance! You don't have to say, you don't! I shouldn't have asked, Lance... I shouldn't have asked..."

The blue paladin sobbed softly, wrapping his arms around Keith. He squeezed the red paladin and buried his face in Keith's shoulder. "It hurt... It hurt so bad... I wasn't strong enough to keep her from getting hurt... I wasn't fast enough to keep Hunk from getting hurt... Shiro got hurt rescuing me... It's my fault... It's my fault..."

"No. No it's not!" Keith pressed his nose into Lance's hair. "No, Lance. You did everything you could. They don't blame you for their scars. You all became stronger because of those scars. You've become stronger with this scar. I'm so sorry, Lance. I shouldn't have asked."

Lance shook his head, gripping Keith's shirt and pulling Keith flush against himself. "Just don't leave... Stay with me... Please don't leave me again... You're my home..."

Keith nodded, tangling his fingers in Lance's hair. "I have no where else to go, Lance."

Keith notice how uncomfortable Thace was around everyone in the castle but Sam, Pidge, Matt and Keith himself. Everyone in the castle had a personal vendetta with the Galra empire and Thace was a commander within that empire. He was sorely hated all throughout.

So, Keith pulled Thace aside before he could get breakfast. "A walk around the castle? We'll eat after." He offered.

Thace smiled and relaxed his shoulders. "Yes."

They walked alongside each other through the empty hallways. "So," Thace began, a hand over his chin and his other arm tucked under his chest, "I noticed you smelled like the blue paladin this morning. Did you sleep with him last night?"

Keith flushed and turned his head away, arms crossed. "No, we just laid in the same bed and fell asleep."

"That's what I said- oh, I forgot that on earth 'sleep' means 'sex.'"

Keith sighed and placed his face in his palm. "Yes. You're more blunt than I am."

Thace chuckled. "Well, why did you lay with him last night?"

The red paladin bit his lip. "I... Had a nightmare. It was about him being killed."

The Alien's eyes softened. "You really care about him. Do you love him?"

"Yes." Keith didn't hesitate as he looked up at Thace. "I do. I'm in love with Lance."

Thace smiled. "And why do you love him?"

"Because he's an idiot." Keith looked forward, balling his hands into fists. "All his stupid competitions and petty arguements... He's always so optimistic and happy, but he misses Earth and his family. He's always thinking about them. He took care of me when my Galra form came out and confessed to me and smiled at me while I was in Galra form because I needed to hear it, even though I didn't know I did. I love Lance's stupid little antics that sometimes drive me crazy and I love him even more when he smiles. I love it when he holds me and says stupid, completely idiotic things. I love that he's willing to sacrifice himself, throw himself into harms way to protect the people he cares about. Lance is always getting on everyone's nerves, but he also always makes everyone smile."

Keith paused and raised his hand. His fingers brushed over his cheek to find his skin damp. "Lance... Makes me so happy, but so sad and mad at the same damn time. He's the best and the worst person I've ever met."

A soft silence wrapped around them and Keith felt a smile crawl up his face.

"And I hear he's also great in bed."

Thace grinned as Keith yelped, face reddening. "Pidge!" Keith shouted as the smallest paladin snickered.

Pidge raised her hands in defense as she grinned. "Hey, it's not my fault you screamed so loud I could hear it in the hallway." Thace tried smothering his snickers behind his hands. "Also not my fault you were limping the entire next day and you didn't complain about it."

Keith shook, his hands covering his bright red face. "Q-quiznak, Pidge!" Both Thace and Pidge started bursting out into laughter. He then thrashing out his arm, pointing at Pidge. "I'm going to tell Shiro that you said he has a fine ass!"

Pidge then gasped and reeled back, eyes wide. "You wouldn't dare!"

"I would!"

"Don't do it!" She shrieked and tackled him.

Keith shouted and fought back, grunting as they crashed into the floor.

"You can't ever tell him I said that! Not even over my dead body!"

Lance and Thace snickered as they stood behind Shiro, the black paladin staring down the shortest two paladins. Keith and Pidge hung their heads, Pidge twisting her toes into the floor.

"Since you no longer argue an fight with Lance, you thought you'd fight with Pidge, now?"

Pidge raised her hand. "I attacked him first, both verbally and physically. He was defending himself."

"But it was playful," Keith added. "She was just teasing, then I said something so she jumped on me."

Shiro raised a brow and crossed his arms. "What'd you say to make her jump on you?"

Pidge tilted her head to the side to glare at him. Keith gulped. "Nothing, really. Just a tease."

"It has to have been something." Shiro pressed. "What'd you say?"

"I swear to the Altean Gods, Keith,if you say anything..." Pidge ground out.

Keith fiddled with the hem of his jacket, ears flat as he listen to Lance giggle. "It was just a petty threat. I never would actually do it."

The black paladin opened his mouth again to speak, then paused. A sly smirk curled his lips as he turned his head to look over his shoulder. Pidge looked up and paled. "So, Thace?" Thace raised his head, curious as to what the paladin would want. "You were there."

Keith whined and hid his face behind his hands. Pidge is going to fucking murder him later. Keith felt his stomach sink as he sniffed out Matt's scent nearing. He dared to peek through his fingers to see Pidge's elder brother approaching.

"Yes." Thace responded with a nod.

Shiro hummed, glancing over at Matt. "What was it that Keith said as a petty threat towards Pidge?"

Matt's interest seemed to spike as his gaze switched between the two arms of Voltron. "Uh-oh. Katie-Kat, what'd you do?" He teased.

Thace glanced over to the green paladin. She had her thumb up and dragged it across the throat. Thace furrowed his brows in confusion, but he was sure it was some threat. "Keith said that he was going to tell you-"

"Dammit, man!" Pidge shouted, stomping her foot. Matthew and Lance burst out laughing. "You're not supposed to tell him!" Her face was red, more embarrassed than angry. This intrigued Shiro.

"Go on." The black paladin turned back to Thace and crossed his arms.

Thace scratched the back of his head. "He was going to tell you that she said that you have a, I quote, fine ass."

Pidge flushed completely red, Shiro went rigid, and Lance and Matthew got louder.
