Keith shivered, cursing himself for leaving his jacket in the training room. He almost stood up and went to get his jacket when Lance walked into the commons room. The blue paladin instantly lit up upon seeing the red paladin.
"Keith!" He shouted, and jumped onto the couch. "Hey, you got some major goosebumps," Lance pointed out, looking down at Keith's arms.
The red paladin groaned. "Way to notice, Captain Obvious," Keith grumbled. "I'll just get my-"
"Nope," Lance cut him off and leaned forward. "You're staying right here." The Cuban shrugged off his jacket and placed it over a surprised red paladin's shoulders. "There you go. Better?"
Keith blinked, tugging Lance's jacket around himself. "Yeah..." Lance grinned, laying an arm around Keith's shoulders.
"Good."
Keith slowly leaned on Lance's shoulder, unsure yet really wanting to. Lance didn't pull him closer or push him away, letting Keith do whatever was comfortable for him. Once Keith was snuggled against Lance's side, cocooned in Lance's jacket, Lance wrapped his arm around Keith's waist and rested his chin on Keith's head.
"Your ears keep showing up," Lance murmured, rubbing Keith's side. Keith murmured a soft, 'I know.' "Why?" Lance asked. "You don't have to answer, if you don't want to."
"Don't know," Keith groaned, sitting up to look at Lance. "I don't know. They keep popping up. I think I'm scared and I don't realize it, or it's just because I can't control it. I don't know, Lance." Keith looked down. "I hate them."
Lance stayed quiet for a moment, then hummed as he leaned forward. "Well, I don't." This cause Keith to look up at Lance, his ears flat against his hair. "I think they're cute. But, Keith, what makes 'em better is that they're apart of you." Keith bit back a blush as he glanced away. "I like your ears, and you should, too. Well, you don't have to, but... Keith, just because these ears make you look Galra, don't mean you are. You're still Keith, the red paladin." Lance raised his hand and placed them on Keith's cheeks. "Look at me, mullet."
Keith scowled, glaring at Lance, who only grinned. "Don't call me tha-"
The blue paladin ducked his head and crushed his lips against Keith's. Keith jerked, eyes widening as he made a strangled noise. He then slowly melted into the kiss, eyes fluttering closed. The kiss become softer as Keith melted into it, leaning closer to Lance.
The blue paladin chuckled once he pulled away. "You're not a bad kisser."
"As if you're a good one, yourself," Keith teased, lightly pushing Lance.
"Hey!" Lance shouted indignantly. "I bet you I'm a better kisser!"
Keith smirked. "Prove it to me," he demanded, tilting his chin up. Lance smirked.
"Oh, I will."

Shiro was not at all surprised when he saw a light shining out of the cracks of the doors leading into the Green Lion's hangar. Shiro let himself in, then frowned to see the smallest paladin blankly staring at the screen in front of her.
"Pidge?"
No response.
"Katie?"
Pidge gasped and jumped, eyes widening as she looked up at Shiro. "Oh!" She slammed her laptop shut and stood. "I'm sorry, I didn't realize it was so late! I swear I was heading to bed, I-!"
Shiro stopped her. "Katie, it's not that late yet. I was just checking on everyone. You're fine." Pidge sighed and relaxed back into her seat. "But... What's wrong?" Pidge tilted her head up at him. "When I came in, you were out of it."
"Oh," she muttered, looking away. "Just... I was just thinking." Shiro's silence told her to keep going. "I can't stop thinking about how Lance got shot because of me."
Shiro's eyes widened, then he quickly knelt in front of her. "No, do not think like that. That was not your fault. You were getting information for Allura."
Pidge huffed, looking down at her lap. "So are you saying I should blame Allura?"
"No." Shiro shook his head. "The Galra shot him, not you. He was the one who jumped in front of you, getting himself shot."
"Now what are you saying!?" Pidge stood, eyes narrowed. "That I should wish that it was me who was shot!? I already do!"
Shiro grasped her arms and yanked her back down to sit in her seat. "Katie, stop that right now," he demanded, tone deep and scolding. Her eyes widened. "Stop. Katie, I'm not going to allow you to think like that. It's not your fault, Allura's fault, Lance's fault, no one's fault." Shiro's voice softened as concern softened his sharp expression. "Please don't say that you wish you were shot instead. Please, Katie. I could never live with it if you were shot."
Pidge's eyes watered up, but she refused to let her tears fall. "T... Takashi," she whispered, voice cracking. "I miss my father and brother... I looked everywhere in the files we took, and there's nothing..." She took in a deep, shaky breath. "I want my dad and I want Matt."
The black paladin sighed softly and gently pulled her against him in an embrace. "I know. I know you do. I miss them, too." Pidge grasped his shirt and nuzzled against him, taking deep breaths so she wouldn't cry. "Don't blame yourself, don't wish that was you. We'll get your father and Matt. We'll bring them home."
Pidge nodded. "Okay... I believe you."

(Lolz, we got some shidge in here. I needed a filler, cause I couldn't figure out what else to put in for Klance. I'm drawing a bit of a blank.)
