Xiao Zhan's POV:

After the incident in the cafeteria, Yibo has relatively become very quiet. Not that he was ever talkative, but, I am a little concerned. It's when I am searching for him that I find a faint but melodious music being played.

Violin?

(A/N: please listen to the above musical piece, it's so heartwarming. It's written by Rene Osmanczyk. Though it's a cello, I am imagining Yibo standing and playing this in a violin, hope you enjoy this as much as I did.)

Following the music, I enter a beautiful room which opens to the mountain and the fog is lightly teasing the room.

Part of Yibo is bathed in the moonlight and he truly looks like an Angel.

What's troubling you, Lan Zhan?

He senses me walking next to him and he stops the music. I carefully take the instrument away from him and place it in its case. Standing in front of him, I yearn to see those beautiful eyes which are casted down.

"Lan Zhan" I whisper softly and he places his forehead on my shoulder. Dear.

I hug him and caress his hair. Place soft kisses on his head and we stand there quietly, embracing eachother's presence and tranquility.

"Mianhae"* he whispers "I am sorry, so sorry, Wei"

"What are you apologising for, Lan Zhan?"

"Without your permission, I declared that you are my boyfriend, I didn't even have the courtesy to ask you first" he clutches the back of my shirt.

Oh dear.

"Yibo" I softly call out "when have I ever been bothered by all this?" I thread my fingers on his hair softly "for a person like me, who has no one to call as his family, your words gave me comfort today." I grin "rather I loved the possessive you".

He moves his head slightly away from mine and gazes into my eyes. Yup he's shocked by my words. I kiss him on the tip of his nose "You're my partner, never forget that. You want to tell people I am your boyfriend go ahead and tell, all these don't bother me. You being by my side, is more than sufficient for me. You're my family, my being, my everything" I kiss him again.

And out of the blue he blurts "MARRY ME!".

Yup now it's my turn to be shocked. After moments what feels like, yeah an eternity, I get what he's trying to tell.

"Yibo" I place my palm on he cheeks adoringly and kiss his lips "you don't want to marry me now, that's not what you want. You're scared. I get it. Even I am scared. Heck worried at times" kiss him once again "Lan Zhan, when you're truly ready, ask me one day and maybe, just maybe, I'll give you my answer" I grin and the next second he steals my heart. Yibo grins too.

Threading fingers with his, case in the other hand, he pulls me out and we go to our room.

The next morning, we enter a small yet quaint tea shop, which is relatively quite. Today we both decided to head out for some tea and breakfast and then go to the university.

As we enter, we are swathed in the aromatic flavour of spice and tea and just as we turn to sit after placing our order, we come to a stand still.

Never expected these two to be here. Never expected to witness these two, to sit near a window seat, hand clasped and smiling at eachother. That's not how friends sit. That's how Yibo sees me. That's how Lan Zhan sees Wei.

That's how Brother Xi Chen is seeing Yong!!!

"Ahem" I cough to get their attention and they whip their heads to our direction. Looking at Yibo, he looks as impassive as ever.

Back to the couple in front of us, they look guilty. I grin inwardly. Oh this is going to be fun!

So what's your take on this chapter. Bittersweet? I loved the way Xiao Zhan, took care of Yibo. I loved the way how it's only in front of Xiao Zhan, that Yibo truly shows his vulnerability.

And last but not the least the ending, our own "Xi Chen and Yong". Unexpected right. Yup, thought let me give them some happy ending. If anyone truly deserves it, other than our MC, then it's these two.
