I decided to take a stroll after a long days work. I was so exhausted and felt sick ." Jennie, I'm going to take a stroll down the street please. I'll be back soon",I informed.

"Yes mum",I teased. Jennie was our help from when my daughter was born. However, when Lisa became of age to go about her own stuff, and after her mum, my wife's demise, i couldnt let go of her because she had become like family to us.

I opened the gate as the security was not on duty today. Noticing that the rains were becoming heavier, I just decided to forget about the walk and just return home.

As I walked back to the house which was just a stone throw away from where I was, i saw a silhouette.  Satisfied that I was armed enough with a pocket knife from the kitchen that was fortunately with me, I moved closer.

She moved back initially but after the assurance that I meant no harm, I moved towards her only to realise that the girl was almost my daughters age.

What was she doing out here in the middle of the night? Lots of interrogations were found useless because she just seemed not to know how to talk...
