How did you and ObsessedwithChance come up with "Steel Bars"?

Answer:

The actual plot of the book taking place in a prison was just one of those ideas that came to me and wouldn't leave. The title "Steel Bars" is actually the name of a song by Micheal Bolton. I brought the idea to Yann. Told her a few of my ideas. She started throwing ideas out for the book and just like that the collaboration was born.
