Jewel wasn't sure which one was the best so he just picked the one he thought looked the coolest. So he chose the chain scythe although he had no idea that's what it was called.

"Good choice," Cinder said looking at the young male in front if her.

"Thanks," Jewel said as he tried to lift the large weapon up. Jewel then walked towards the man in front of him. The man readied both of his daggers and looked at Jewel.

He ran forward and Jewel threw one of the small scythes at him. The male of course dodged the attack and continued until he was in front of Jewel. He brought the two blades down but Jewel reacting on instinct brought the chains up to defend himself.

The male smiled at this and kicked Jewel in the stomach. This sent the male back and would have sent him out of the ring if it wasn't for the blade he had thrown. It was planted in the ground and stopped Jewel just before he was thrown out of the ring.

"That was close," Jewel said as he got up and started to dust himself off. He was used to being hit by others as well as several other things that were done so pain wasn't exactly a big deal for him.

The male that had kicked Jewel ran towards him and Jewel seeing that part of his weapon was still in the ground threw the second part of his weapon to the same spot. When he did the chains that connected the two wrapped around the males stomach and pulled him back out of the ring.

He seemed very displeased by this fact but walked away nonetheless. When Jewel looked for the female that he had come there with he saw a man handing her some money.

He walked over to her and she smiled. "I think we're done here," she said looking at Jewel. The two then began to walk through building once again and like the first time Jewel held Cinder's hand until they got to were he could see.

After they got out Cinder smiled and looked at Jewel. 'He's definitely got potential. He doesn't seem to have any parents from what I can tell and who knows he might just be useful for what I have planned,' Cinder thought to herself as she looked at the small male in front of her.

"Follow me," Cinder said looking at the small male as she began to walk down the street.

"Where are we going?" Jewel asked looking at the taller female in front of him.

"We're going to my house fighting as well as you did must have made you hungry," Cinder said looking at the male. Jewel placed one of his hands on his stomach to keep it from growling.

"I guess I am a little hungry," Jewel said looking at Cinder the truth was that it had been three days since he has last ate anything so he was actually pretty hungry.

As they walked down the street Jewel looked around and saw a man with horns being chanced by several others. 'Strange that's the second time something like that has happened to a Faunus,' Jewel thought looking at them.

However his train of thought was suddenly interputted as he accidentally ran into the female in front of him. "S-sorry," he said looking at her.

"It's alright, now let's go inside," Cinder said looking at the younger male in front of her. Jewel nodded and followed behind the female in front of her. When they walked inside Cinder walked into the kitchen and came back with a sandwich. "I know it may not seem like much but it's the best I could do. I'm not exactly the rich type," Cinder said looking at him.

"It's okay I'm not a picky eater," Jewel said looking at the female in front of him. As soon as she said this she slid the sandwich over to him and he ate it very quickly.

"You also seem a little dirty how about a nice shower?" Cinder asked looking at him.

"I . . . I don't think so I wouldn't want to overstep my boundaries," Jewel said looking at the female in front of him.

"It's fine after all at the moment you're a guest in my house not to mention you're the reason I was able to earn some extra lien," Cinder said looking at the small male in front of her.

Despite Cinder saying that it was okay Jewel still wasn't comfortable with the idea. "I-I guess I could," Jewel said looking at her.

"Well that's nice to hear I'm glad you'll be staying the night," Cinder said looking at him. Jewel tensed at this he was reluctant to take a shower in her house there was no way he was going to spend the night at her house.

"I'm sorry but that's something I can't do. You've already done so much for me I can't possibly-," Jewel began only for Cinder cut him off.

"All I've done for you? I gave you something to eat and let you take a shower. That's not exactly a lot you on the other hand helped me collect enough money to travel to somewhere I've wanted to go for a long time," Cinder said looking at Jewel.

"I . . . I see," Jewel said looking at the table in front of him.

"If nothing else think of it as me repaying a debt to you," Cinder said looking at Jewel. The young male still wasn't comfortable with the idea but she had something in her voice that put Jewel at ease.

"Okay I guess one day couldn't hurt," Jewel said looking at her. This made Cinder smile and she pointed to a room.

"There's the bathroom I'll get you something to wear for when you come out," Cinder said looking at him.

"Not necessary," Jewel said as he stood up off the chair he was sitting on.

"What do you mean?" Cinder asked looking at the small male in front of her. Jewel sighed and unbuttoned his shirt making Cinder a bit concerned until she saw a dim red light come through the cracks. Jewel then separated his shirt to reveal a dark blue skin tight outfit.

"It doesn't come off and it's very durable and as a plus it's waterproof so it's like something I can always wear," Jewel said looking at Cinder. The female nodded and looked at the suit he was wearing.

In the center was a large red gem. It would glow every so often but it wasn't to bright she then noticed several smaller gems above it that went up to his neck and split going around it. It was low cut so that it wouldn't stand out when he was wearing regular cloths. As Cinder looked over his body she realized that nothing was exposed apart from his hands feet and head.

'Just where did this kid come from?' Cinder thought to herself as she looked at the male in front of her. The male then went into the room she had pointed him and and when he was gone she took the plate she had made the sandwich on and put it in the sink.

"I'm leaving tomorrow so there's no point in cleaning it," Cinder said aloud as she walked into the section of the house that she had deemed her living room.

'He's a nice kid but he's to gullible for what I have in mind. He could really get himself hurt not to mention that if he get's mad about what I really planned then he could really become a thorn in my side. Then again the way he acted . . . he's strong physically and his instincts have been honed but he's still a kid a heart,' Cinder thought to herself. She then tossed her head side to side as of she was trying to decide something.

"I guess it couldn't hurt to try," she said aloud as she started to pour herself something to drink. As she did she had no idea that Jewel was also having his own thoughts.

In the shower his face was wet but it wasn't from the water that was hitting from above. No it was from the water that was leaking out of his eyes.

'Why? Why is she being so nice to me? No one's ever been this nice to me before. So why is she? She must want something but what is it? I guess it doesn't matter what is it I could help her. Wait what is she wants something bad. Then what will I do? I was taught to expect betrayal but even so would I actually fight her?' All these questioned swam in Jewels head until he finally sighed. "I guess I'll get my answer soon enough," he said stepping out of the shower.

When he did Cinder looked at him and gave him a kind smile. "Follow me I'll show you to your room," she said looking at him. Jewel nodded and walked behind her. When the two of them got there Cinder opened up the door and let him into the room.

When she did Jewel walked past her and sat on the bed. 'Funny,' he thought to himself. 'Not even back at the facility was I given a bed to sleep on,' Jewel thought as he looked at the female.

That was when it had hit him that she hadn't left the room yet. "I-If I'm doing something w-wrong I-I'm sorry," Jewel said looking at her.

"No it's not that I was just thinking about something," the black haired female said as she walked over to the chair beside the bed he was sleeping on.

"What's that?" Jewel asked looking at her. He was a little confused as to what she wanted.

"Well you're almost the ideal kid. You're strong, sort of smart given your age, you're very respectful, and you have a gentle heart," Cinder said looking at him. 'Of course that last one might cause some problems so we'll have to get rid of it,' Cinder thought to herself looking at Jewel.

"Th-thanks," Jewel said feeling his face heat up slightly. He had never gotten a compliment like what she had just given him so he wasn't sure how he was supposed to react to it but his first response was to become slightly embarrassed.

"Now I don't think I'm going to have a boyfriend for a long while so of course that means no kids. However I might need a child to help my image just a bit. So what do you say Jewel? Want to get adopted?" Cinder asked looking at Jewel.

Jewel smiled and looked at her he was going to say yes however something about what she said seemed off to him. So he used his semblance to start monitoring her aura again and he felt something he thought was bad.

Her aura was covered in evil intentions but it wasn't towards him it was towards . . . everyone else. 'Why is her aura suddenly so evil? Why does she want to hurt everyone? I-I shouldn't help her. Then again she's been nicer to me than anyone else has ever been maybe if I stay with her she'll still treat me like she is now. Plus I've never had a parent before so that'd be nice,' Jewel thought to himself looking at her.

He was tore. He had never had to make a choice like this before but after a few moments of thought he made his decision. One that would change hi life forever.
